This hotel is in a great location, easy to access places of interest, yet in a quiet location. The hallways were adorned with flowers and flowering branches. Our room included a bed room, dressing room and bathroom. All were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive with breads, salads, desserts, cheeses and eggs. There is no elevator, so navigating the stairs with luggage can be a challeng.

Excellent restaurant. We booked a table for Nee Year Eve and we loved our meal. Lovely and attentive service and great food. We shared the tomahawk steak and it was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection and served with several sauces and beautiful new potatoes.

We stayed at this hotel with friends for two nights in November 2023. Each of us had a double room for single-person use booked, and we all paid the same amount for the rooms. The rooms were supposed to be 19 m², as indicated on ***********. However, one of my friends received the tiniest room in the hotel, more suitable for 9 or 10 m². Her room was not shown in the pictures on *********** or other platforms. Despite requesting compensation, the hotel insisted that the room was 19 m², which was clearly not the case. No excuses were provided, and no compensation was offered. Additionally, the receptionist asked us to pay for our stay upon arrival, which seemed unusual. She failed to provide a proper explanation for the immediate payment requirement. Also verifying our passports and nationalities, the receptionist continued to question us about out our citizenship. Eventually, we had to disclose our place of birth and she documented this information which is of course incorrect. No explanation where this information goes and who needs it. Also, there was no minibar or refrigerator in the room in this "4 star hotel". The positive aspects of this hotel include its good location, breakfast, and quality service at the restaurant, ( waiter and cleaning lady) . I hope the receptionist can learn something from the restaurant staff. So, if you are looking for a four-star hotel with accurately sized rooms and good service at the reception, I would recommend avoiding this hotel. If you do decide to go there, please check the room first and pay afterwards. P.S. pictures of the rooms that had the same price.

What a shame it just falls short..,, this pretty quirky hotel is in a fabulous location and is really quiet . It’s a delightfully building and has a lovely courtyard. Rooms and bathrooms are a good size but a little tired. The beds were hard and sheets a bit worn. It could be such a gem with attention to some areas, The antiquated coffee machine in the breakfast area is a joke. The customers can’t operate it and neither can the staff. It’s all DIY. Just provide a pot of coffee! Breakfast itself is adequate. The dinner we had in the courtyard was lovely, but it was 7pm and no lighting .. I had no idea what the food actually looked like it was so dark. We had to eat with our phone torches on!! A few tea lights would have transformed it. As others have said the staff are a bit of an issue… the young guy in the courtyard was great but the reception staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. I think staff training is required in all areas. The owners of this hotel are really missing a trick here. It lacks any care and attention to detail but could be so much more.

This is not a boutique hotel. It’s shabby, run down and as mentioned by other reviewers, the staff isn’t friendly or accommodating at all. There were stains on the carpeting and no way to charge the phones anywhere near the bed, a necessity in this day. Worse, we didn’t feel safe in our room without pushing a heavy chair in front of the entry door and another in front of the adjoining room door. The entry door to the room had only a flimsy chain to lock the door that could easily have been pushed or kicked open as the key didn’t work from the inside and there was no night lock. Our door to the adjoining room didn’t lock from our side and when I inquired about it the next morning the front desk said that it wasn’t a problem since it was locked from the other room. She either missed my point or was purposely obtuse. Breakfast was marginal. Location was good, however. We left early and went to the Nerudova 211 instead (highly recommended) without any refund despite the concerns for our personal safety while in the room and our possessions while we were out.

This a quaint place to stay in the old part of the city. Walking distance to most of the sites. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is no air conditioning so opening the windows is an important issue for me. We were in a room next to an narrow road where people were walking and smoking so opening the windows wasn’t going to happen. There is no elevator in this building so you are responsible for your bags…someone older or with mobility issues would not be able to navigate this property. When I reserved a room I asked for a ground floor courtyard location and they told me that it was available but when we arrived they couldn’t remember that.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel for a long weekend break in Prague. The room was light and airy, very clean and lovely comfortable beds. It is quiet and very convenient, only 10 minutes walk from the old town square. The breakfast is really good, buffet style with everything you could want for breakfast, all freshly prepared and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and very good value for money.

Beautiful, quirky building, fabulous staff Enjoying this hotel so much, I’m writing a review while still here! It is snowing outside, and inside it is toasty warm, but you can still open the windows (very important!). Everything about this hotel is lovely - there is a fabulous breakfast buffet, there’s a bistro for beautifully cooked and prepared evening meals, and the staff are simply superb. They are so helpful and so friendly. We have a large room, with a lobby and a shower room, and a view of the old convent. It is in a side street, in the Old Town/Jewish Quarter, but very quiet and peaceful. Just a shame that we aren’t here during the summer as the courtyard must be a lovely place to eat.
