Courtyard Prince George

Second time around at this hotel. It was alright. It’s always clean and spacious. The front desk is always underwhelming as far as greetings and suggestions for around town goes. I was annoyed when I got into the room and realized we had no robes for the pool. I called down and ask about it and they said they might have some in the back. They called back and said they had one. I told them not to worry about it. We then got down to the pool and other people were wearing hotel robes… I was annoyed. I also had requested a city view months ago and was given a view of the roof. It’s a nice hotel but definitely doesn’t go above and beyond. It would also be nice if the restaurant was open for dinner on weekends…
Prestige Treasure Cove Resort, BW Premier Collection

We had a wonderful stay at the Treasure Cove Prestige. Our room had a lovely little mudroom area that was perfect for storing our muddy gear without worrying about messing up the carpets, and there was loads of storage for all our things! The shower was big and had good water pressure and our bed was clean, perfectly firm and had lots of plugs available around it. There were also so many pillows it was perfect. We had the newly offered continental breakfast which was a perfect way to start the day, and we had drinks at the Grand Trunk bar in the evening which were ridiculously good and cheap at happy hour.
Canadas Best Value Inn Prince George

Prince George offers a lot of accommodations - but we went with this motel as it is centrally located and near the highway for our road trip. The exterior of the hotel is clean and simple - nothing much changed. However, the interior rooms have been renovated much to our delight. The decors and the washrooms have been upgraded. The furnishings are also generous - a sink, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, small dining table, extra chair, office desk, and chair and even a little table- besides the bed and the night tables. The wifi and cable services were pretty reliable and helped us pass the time away easily. The bathroom is decent, and I should say the shower is quite relaxing with the proper shower head setting. I took two showers in this room, as it was really relaxing - the misty pressure of the water is good for those sore backs and shoulders. The beds were comfortable along with the pillows. We had a good night's sleep and awoke refreshed and ready to complete the rest of our road trip to Vancouver. The only thing is the parking on this location - it can be packed and it becomes a challenge to find a spot when all the spots are already taken. When we came back from dinner - we were lucky to find a parking spot amidst the taken ones. If the motel is full, you can expect to park out on the street, which might not be the most convenient of options. Overall, we would stay here again because it was cozy and the price was right, but we will always be wary about the parking space.
Four Points by Sheraton Prince George
4.2/5102 Reviews
Considering I had spent the previous night camped in my tent next to my vehicle in a roadside pull-out in the middle of the Stewart-Cassiar Highway due to a closure of the Alaska Highway that caused all campgrounds and hotels along the highway to be fully booked, my stay at the Four Points was like slipping back into the lap of luxury, and the modern world. Parking was easy, the lobby was nice (and smelled great, I would love to know if that's a cleaning agent or some kind of scent), the check-in was fast, the room was big, modern, clean, and appointed with everything you could ask for. Slept like a baby. Would definitely stay here again.
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Prince George

Our favourite place to stay in PG! Great service and updated rooms, so nice to have the Starbucks in the lobby too.
Super 8 by Wyndham Prince George
3.3/593 Reviews
Okay so admittedly we live north of Prince George and love to go to town sometimes and have a good dinner and a few drinks so we take a room. The Brizzola restaurant in the super 8 is one of our favs. So this time we had a second floor room with a balcony that was nice but no hand soap in the bathroom a hassle and 2 towels with no face cloths and equal hassle. No bath tub plug a real issue for me. My fav is someone else’s dirty cotton swab that housekeeping missed. I mean if you washed the bathroom floors between ppl that would be impossible. Come on Super 8 do better so I don’t have to find another restaurant to stay near.
