"It’s just interesting to stay in the old Dutch building, which is a historical building in the centre of the town. If you’re interested in the topic of UNESCO, that’s a must place to visit around Padang area. The hotel itself is just fine. It has nice cafeteria outside where they serve breakfast and you can eat at other times. The biggest issue that I had was sounds coming from outside, the road, and then early morning siren calling for pray. But that’s part of the experience and I was during Ramadan."
