"The scenery is good and the secluded countryside, the trunk is noisy, so I listened carefully and pulled it a few times. The check-in place was the same space as the restaurant and the East seemed rare at first, but the owner was very kind to greet us so that we could put down the tension and enjoy a relaxing break. The room was a bit narrow as expected and the system to open the door with the key was amazing, but it was not bad and it was well matched to the atmosphere.
The dogs across the window were so cute and the breakfast I tasted in the morning was amazing. Bansuk eggs and croissants were my one pick and I was very satisfied with the taste of juice, coffee, yogurt and bread."

"We loved our stay at the Gasthof. Nice rooms in a quaint little village close to Rothenburg. We had dinner at the restaurant which was nice and the breakfast was lovely too. Would happily recommend the hotel!"

"The hotel is located not far from the village of Rotenberg and runs a very good restaurant at the same time. In addition to the usual Western food in Germany, there is a Thai noodles that are delicious. The room is on another small upstairs 50 meters away, with a German rural style and a good view outside the window. Facilities and health are good, breakfast is downstairs, good value for money."

"A very unforgettable stay experience. This is a hotel run by an old German couple at the gate of Rothenburg. The decoration of the hotel is full of warm German style. The old man is very enthusiastic and he keeps chatting with us. The accommodation is very warm and comfortable. It is not the tourist season. He specially prepared new bedding for our arrival. The room was clean and tidy. He reminded us that it is best to have breakfast after 8 o'clock the next day. The restaurant is warm and comfortable, with many of his personal collections and paintings, and the breakfast is very rich and delicious. The summer peak season is said to be full. Worth staying at a hotel, parking, and transportation are all convenient. Go through the gate and you will reach the castle."

"It's about 600 meters away from the station, so it's a bit tough for a train trip with a suitcase.
The hotel looks really nice, but the rooms are average, or rather, smaller than I expected, and there's no air conditioning or refrigerator! (European hotels sometimes don't have refrigerators, but this was my first experience of a four-star luxury hotel without one.)
Sightseeing is not a problem as the Gal Gate is close by. In fact, it might be better to enter from the Leder Gate, as you can see the local shops.
The breakfast variety and taste are average, but the Schweinebraden at the restaurant was delicious."

"Upon arrival no one answered the door on either side of the street. We had no way to call the number posted. Fortunately kind guests helped to call as they were coming out the door and directed us to our room. No contact with hosts until breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was excellent."
