"I was attracted by the hotel’s water park facilities, but it turns out that guests who stay in the inflatable pool can only play once. Also, in our family room for two adults and two children, only two people are allowed to use the facilities. The children’s facilities are charged separately as well, but this wasn’t clearly stated in online. I even bought food from the restaurant, and ordered some fried chicken via Foodpanda. We wanted to eat in the outdoor public area, but the hotel does not allow us to use outdoor tables."

"We are a local mssionary couple who lives locally. We came here to rest and recharge after many weeks of hard work. I am a full-time college student, so part of the reason for our stay was to catch up on work. This was PERFECT for us. My wife and I both relaxed in the infinity pool and enjoyed the quite. The hotel was not busy and it was so quiet, perfect for relaxing and doing homework at the pool or in the cafe. The only downside for us was the wifi reception. While we recognize this is the philippines and service can be touchy the wifi often have trouble reaching our room… The staff was quick to attempt to help us and reset the wifi which helped but sometimes we would just have no wifi for a time. I give them 5 stars for how attentive they are. Pool- 5/5 Beach-2/5 (good for snorkling in the day. But no sand to relax on.) Food- 4/5 (some food was great others not so much, not to pricey for tourist spot). Service- 5/5 Very kind and helpful staff. Room 3/5- I expected a nicer room for the pictures and look of the place but not terrible. Also had to walk far from pool to room but could request a shuttle at reception desk. Price 4/5- $92 for two nights on trip.com C"

"The staff were friendly and accommodating with requests. Everything about the resort was great. While staying in a deluxe room, I only used the pool right in front of the room, and the water wasn't as clear as the other pools. The breakfast menu changed a few items daily, but overall, there wasn't a wide variety of food. If your purpose is the resort's location and pool access, the room location was perfect, though there were some signs of aging in certain areas. The cleanliness was good. I used the showerhead for 5 days without changing the filter. I would definitely visit again. Many thanks to the friendly staff during my stay!"

"I booked this place wondering if it was the same one we stayed at for our honeymoon 19 years ago, and it was exactly as I remembered. The facilities are definitely showing their age now; the air conditioning is noisy, and many areas clearly need renovation. However, the surrounding ocean and swimming pool were still incredibly beautiful and lovely. Unfortunately, there's a large building under construction right behind the property, which has been going on for years. I imagine it would be quite noisy on weekdays, but since we stayed over the weekend, it was quiet and pleasant for us. Most importantly, the stars in the night sky were so incredibly clear – it was completely rejuvenating. Also, on our first day, I accidentally left my bag in a Grab taxi, and the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me. I was very grateful for their efforts. The staff at the breakfast buffet were also very friendly, especially one older gentleman who was exceptionally kind. The breakfast menu changed slightly over our three-day stay, and they even made omelets fresh and brought them to our table, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant view is also stunning. Because of the loud air conditioner, we'd turn it on when we left for swimming or meals, and then turn it off when we came back to the room. There are three swimming pools, with varying depths like 4, 5, 8, and 12 feet. Being able to swim while looking out at the ocean is just beautiful. If you enter a less crowded pool, a staff member will even come over and clean it for you."

"Many staff members are fluent in Japanese, which is a plus. The hotel has a tropical vibe, and the atmosphere is lovely. There were a few shortcomings: no slippers in the room, I forgot my toothbrush, and I wasn't given the beach towel exchange card during check-in, which I was supposed to receive. However, when I contacted them, they addressed these issues. I didn't opt for breakfast, but it seems to be well-known as one of the best among the surrounding hotels."

"I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it."

"Cuestas Beach Resort was a welcome location, straight off the Ceres bus from Cebu.  A patch of paradise 🌺 The staff are ever so lovely, especially the receptionist Ginky.  All of the staff were more than happy to please and attend.  The owner Mons introduced himself and with a wealth of local information, this made our canyoneering and zip-line booking so easy.  He was helpful and pleasant always.   The pool is surrounded by lovely, manicured gardens, and the lighting at night has a delightful ambience.  It is one of the few resorts I have come across whereby you can swim in the pool until 10pm.  And the food?  DELICIOUS.  Couldn’t fault it. We were even happy that we got rained-in for a day, just to enjoy the surrounds and relaxing vibe of the resort."

"The hotel's service, facilities, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The only thing that wasn't great was the beach. It was quite small, and more importantly, the sand wasn't really sand – the grains were very large, making it uncomfortable to walk on even with flip-flops. If you go, it's definitely more worthwhile to spend your time at the hotel's infinity pool. The buffet was also good; someone was celebrating a birthday, and it felt very ceremonial, similar to Haidilao in China. Finally, I had originally wanted to try the hotel's Thai restaurant, but at 12 PM, they told us it was closed for the day. Also, the Thai massage on the second floor didn't open on time in the morning 😅"

"We spent a lovely family holiday at Solea Seaview Resort during the Chinese New Year break and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size, in reasonable condition, with clean bed linen and towels. The balcony offered a beautiful sea view, which we truly appreciated every day. Breakfast was also very nice, with a wide variety of food options to choose from. The absolute highlight for us was the number of swimming pools and the fantastic aquapark — free of charge for guests — plus a trampoline area for a small additional fee. The children absolutely loved it! The hotel also encourages guests to leave reviews, and as a lovely compliment, my son received free access to the children’s playroom — such a thoughtful touch. The beach is not the most Instagrammable, but the sea was perfectly fine for swimming practice. One small downside was that the gym operates only from 8am to 8pm, so late-night training isn’t possible if that’s your preference. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 — good value for money and a great option for a family holiday."

"A wonderful hotel right by the sea. It's small, with only 8 rooms (if I remember correctly). All the rooms are large, clean, and beautiful. There's no TV, but that didn't bother us at all. They have their own reef where you can swim with turtles and various fish. They also organize transport with a driver for trips to see sharks and waterfalls. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food. We absolutely loved everything and didn't even leave the hotel. I highly recommend it to everyone!"
