"The breakfast buffet were so good. They cook the egg as per your request and as the way you preferred, serving fresh from the pan❤️. You can totally enjoy the delicious breakfast with the mesmerizing sea view. The location is far from the main road, taking you away from the noise and buzz of the city to the serene and calm sound of birds and sea breeze. Good place to relax and have fun with the amenities."

"Everyone working at the resort were very helpful. Sometimes we had to queue between 10-15 minutes to be seated for breakfast and some of the food that ran out took time to be replaced. My friends ate at the oyster restaurant. The oysters were tiny, there were no side dishes available and they waited nearly an hour to receive a drink. The Oyster bar closes at 10pm so if you want a drink you must be there by 9.30pm. The pina colada’s were my favourite. There is another 24 hour bar. We went out on the water for an island hop with bbq and parasailing and both times the guys on the boats were very attentive and cooked excellent food. I used the spa twice. First for a manicure. They had to request an external beautician and because of the busy traffic after 1.5 hours they hadn’t arrived and I cancelled. On another day I had a massage and facial. The facial was all natural ingredients eg) honey and was heavy handed. Some spa etiquette needed improving eg) leaving the door open during the treatment and the therapist standing in the room whilst I got dressed."

"I have been using Costabella for nearly 20 years and have always considered it a pleasant, well maintained hotel. In fact I even got married here! However, during my most recent stay, the experience fell noticeably short of expectations. We booked a poolside room and, after check in, I was genuinely surprised to find that the room was on the third floor. Based on my many previous stays, I had always understood poolside rooms to be those adjacent to the pool at ground level. If you are booking a poolside room, be aware that this may not be the case and expectations should be managed accordingly. The room itself was a little dated in style, but it was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay, which helped offset the older décor. The pool area is relatively small but generally well maintained. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded throughout the day due to the large number of day pass visitors. As a result, there were no chairs or loungers available for hotel guests for most of the day, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the beach area was clean and pleasant. The food was the main let down. The buffet breakfast would rate no more than 4 out of 10. Much of the food had not been replenished, including empty juice and coffee stations, and what remained was cold and unappetising. However, it was better on the second day. Dinner was equally disappointing. Several main courses were served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. In the end, we cancelled two seafood dishes altogether, as reheating raised concerns about food quality and safety. The steak, which was once a highlight of Costabella for me, was extremely tough and far below the standard I have previously enjoyed. Overall, Costabella still has many positive qualities, but this stay did not reflect the standards I have previously associated with the resort and this will be my last visit. Unless the quality of the food and the management of guest capacity improve, I would find it difficult to recommend Costabella based on this recent experience."

"The food was delicious and fairly priced. The staff were very accommodating—they even allowed us to extend our checkout until 12 NN instead of 11 AM, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the aquapark pool, which had a noticeable amount of floating moss coming from the inflatables. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at Solea. We will definitely come back during the lean season to enjoy the facilities even more."

"Nestled in a quiet corner of the city, this hotel offers peaceful surroundings and lovely sea views. The staff, from the front desk to the management, were incredibly kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with friends. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to get a taxi or arrange a drop-off, so keep that in mind when planning your trip."

"This hotel is very convenient, located only about 20 minutes from the airport, which makes it perfect before a flight. It is a large property, yet it remains surprisingly peaceful. The staff are truly lovely and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you might need. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast, which offers a great selection. We spent a fun evening at the Sports Bar — my children really enjoyed all the activities available. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the prices there were quite high. Aside from that, the view from the pool is stunning, and there is a pleasant small beach to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay before catching our flight."

"Room is not worth the price paid. Paid for 2 additional persons but no toiletries were added for them in contrast to what the staff said about additional guests. Some amenities are not available. No bikes, for game room access, you’re only given 30 mins for table tennis (that’s it for the whole family). Not everyone can use the inflatable slides (only for the two guests). P.S. Booked 2 rooms + 2 additional guests."

"I'm kinda disappointed in my stay here because the fact that I compared this branch with Panglao branch, so i was expecting the same amenities. The service were the same all smiles to all the customers but I'm disappointed for the amenities because my room doesn't have hot shower and the building needs for detailed upgrade. I booked on this building as I was hoping it's newly renovated the place was new however some furniture way outdated and needs a more thorough upgrade. Love the earth restaurant still 🩷🧡💛"

"The location was not ideal as it’s 2km from Mactan New Town. Getting a grab was not successful as no driver was nearby. Had to take the jeepney to and fro. The room was big and the aircon was working very well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The swimming pool were clean and a Jacuzzi was available. A 7-11 convenience stall opposite the hotel was a life-saver."

"About the room: Price is around 2,200Pesos (40 USD) per night for 2 people. They dont provide hair dryer, slippers in rooms. There're only 2 towels, no mat for CR. Air-con is Philippine traditional style which means it's somehow noisy but acceptable. The utilities in toilet are poor. Luckily they still have hot water even though the shower head is not functioning well. They let us check in early (11am) because there's available room. The best thing about this resort is the view. It's stunning and adorable. I enjoy taking a rest here. Food in restaurant is also quite affordable. The location is not far from the Consuelo port, but it costs 300peso (5USD) to ride a tricycle 1 way (hotel to port)."
