This was my first all-inclusive holiday. I was a little apprehensive about what to expect but overall we had a really lovely week in this hotel. Overall, there were some very positive experiences but a few things that let the hotel down - it felt like it was 20% off being incredible and just missed the mark on a few areas sometimes. Firstly, the food … The main buffet had a lot of options but was busy and so could be quite hectic! My little boy is allergic to dairy and eggs and the staff at the hotel were very good and accommodating to these on the whole. What would be really beneficial is to have every food item clearly labelled with all the allergy information so we didn’t have to keep asking what he could/couldn’t have. Makou Christina, the service manager, got him special pancakes every morning, which was lovely. The selection was plentiful and the quality OK. You’re allowed to eat in the a La carte restaurants once each during your stay. We were a bit worried that these would be the same food options as the buffet, however, we were really pleasantly surprised as each restaurant was really good; tasty food, good wine list and great service. The Asian restaurant in particular was really good and the service we received from Siveri Vasillis was outstanding. He was so friendly, welcoming and had food prepared for our little boys allergies in advance. The beach front creperie and ice cream parlour was a nice touch, although again could be very busy and not all ice cream flavours were readily available, which was a little annoying after queuing for half an hour to be left with one choice. They also provided options without dairy and milk; although, again, these ran out and the staff weren’t very forthcoming about getting replacements. This was a similar story in the pool snack bar - options were the same every day and supplies ran low into the afternoon, with limited choice and no one keen to top up. Facilities … every where was really clean and the rooms were nice - if sp****ly furnished. The pools were great and the Aqua Park was a fantastic addition. My little boy loved it. Useful to have a help-yourself bar as well. The beach bar was an absolutely beautiful spot where you could watch the sunset. The Sun loungers, deckchairs and general setting felt top quality. Violet made a fantastic Margarita cocktail. It was a shame it closed before sunset but it also meant it was a really beautiful and quiet spot to watch the sunset. The main square was a really lovely and fun spot in the evening, often with live music. Loads of kids were playing in the square and there was tons of different seating areas to eat and relax whilst the kids played and danced. Drink … there are plenty of bars and a good selection of drinks. We were a bit frustrated as Prosecco is advertised as available on the bars. However, what is served as standard is a sweet sparkling wine. You have to specifically ask for proper Prosecco and it often ‘sold out’. Again, the general s
