"The bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together. Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath. All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size. In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!) Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it. *If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!) Heartily recommend!"

"The location was very peaceful and not too far from the Main Street of Jiaoxi. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was a very nice live music performance in the evening. The pool area was nice, and the hot spring private areas were sufficient. The breakfast and dinner buffet I would say is one of the best in Jiaoxi in terms of the Spa hotels and the rooms were well sound insulated. We would definitely come again and my infant certainly enjoyed it. One of the more expensive hot spring hotels in Jiaoxi but if you want a quiet and peaceful few days with activities, good food and with easy access to the mountains for a nice walk I would recommend this place. Minor criticism for the rooms I would say is the cleanliness. There were slight dust in places and because there is carpet, and if you’re prone to dust allergy be prepared. Saying that if they have a room without carpet that would be perfect, but nonetheless, we would definitely come again."

"The bathtub in the room was large, and the water was clean and warm, making for a very comfortable soak. The room size was adequate. The hotel's breakfast was just average, mostly boiled vegetables and cold dishes. Meat-eaters might not find it satisfying. The room thoughtfully provided two bottles of water, the bed firmness was just right, and the soundproofing was excellent, leading to a great night's sleep."

"When I first saw the website description, it seemed very convenient. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found it was located on a country road with fields on both sides, not directly next to a main road. Driving at night was a bit dangerous. The room was quite clean and tidy, like a private guesthouse. You had to take off your shoes before entering, but the soundproofing was very poor. Around 4 AM, I could hear loud noise and laughter outside the room, easily waking me up. Breakfast consisted of individual small set meals, which I initially thought were for one person, but it turned out to be shared by two, and the portion was rather small. The self-service breakfast bar only had toast for toasting; there were no other dishes. The coffee machine's coffee was a bit sour and not hot enough. I had expected to see fields, but it was just a bare area, and overall, there weren't many facilities available. Considering the price, the value for money wasn't very high. I would probably consider it again next time, but I won't give this evaluation. Thank you."

"This time, I opted for a sea-view room. Inside, you can soak in the hot spring while enjoying the ocean view, and there's a balcony to feel the breeze and take in both the sunrise and the night view. The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. During late-night snack hours, there's a great selection of alcoholic beverages, plus a large screen to watch sports games. It’s perfect for families or couples looking for a relaxing getaway."

"Awesome hot spring hotel with spectacular view at rooftop pool, movie night and hot spring. Breakfast buffet and spacious room and in room amenities. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again. Dinner at hotel restaurant because it’s raining, tasty and great service but feel a bit rush with 100 minutes time limit."

"Overall, the stay was excellent. The location is great, the room is clean, and the environment is elegant. This time, I got a room on the 15th floor, and the view was fantastic. The only downside is that the breakfast still needs improvement. I didn't add breakfast this time because I'm vegetarian. Last year, there were many vegetarian options, but lately, I've noticed the selection has decreased significantly! Also, the self-service udon noodle and vegetable cooking station is no longer available, which is a bit disappointing. They used to have their own handmade bread for breakfast too, but that's gone now. So, apart from the breakfast being a bit disappointing for vegetarians, everything else was truly superb!"

"The location is not very near city but with car or taxi it is easily access to anywhere. What matters is the staff and their service. The family room we booked for 2 nights is spacious and has sufficient room to move around. However, the sewer smell is strong. We informed the staff and they rectified it immediately. The next night all good, room very clean. Thank you to staff 呂宝桂, 陈品洋，张新鸿. All 3 of them gave us the best impression, very kind, helpful and have passion for their work. Well done. Tourism industry need you more. For a place to be successful it is not about the facilities, the room but also people who work there."

"I really wanted to love this hotel because it has some great features, especially for families. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made a positive impression right away. However, there were several downsides that made the experience disappointing. The location feels quite isolated—almost like you’re in the middle of nowhere. While there is a train station about 10 minutes away, getting there with a stroller was difficult and inconvenient due to the lack of sidewalks. Unfortunately, our room had a leaking ceiling that appeared moldy, which was concerning and definitely not what you expect from a hotel of this caliber. On top of that, you can hear trains passing by every so often, which can be disruptive. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the kids’ playground and the buffet. While the playground was a nice feature, the buffet did not meet expectations as it was disappointing for a fancy hotel. Overall, the friendly staff were a highlight, but the issues with the room, location, and dining made the stay fall short of expectations."

"Out of the 5 hotels we stayed over 2 weeks in Taiwan, this is our top favourite! The room we stayed for 4 nights was a duplex with 4 single beds perfect for our family with kids. The room was spacious and clean! The hotel is a big estate with their restaurant overlooking a beautiful big pond. The hotel has its own farm within the estate for visitation; it is very clean with lots of healthy looking animals that we got to interact with. The hotel also has plenty of bicycles where we borrowed to explore the village outside."
