"Great location near Mona, easily to find.
Great customer service and helpful staff.
But the room is very old and had a bit smell, not quite satisfied with sanitary conditions."
"Very good hotel, although expensive, but good value for money. It is a very pleasant thing to spend a daze on the terrace, with the best kitchen facilities, and there are not many wines (there are special wine cabinets), but the wine is charged. The tip on the pillow was actually confiscated, and later I learned that Australia does not need to tip for cleaning the room."
"Standard motel, but the price is competitive. There are microwaves, refrigerators, electric kettles, etc. in the room, and there is a Woolworth supermarket 1km away. You can buy some food yourself, and you don’t need to rush to eat their breakfast. Not far from the freeway, it's an easy drive to downtown Hobart. KFC and McDonald's are very close.
Parking is free.
The room was clean, the bed and equipped with electric blankets. There is a heater but no air-conditioning. If it is very hot in summer, it will be sad.
It was quiet at night, but on the first day there was a storm and the door of the room was blown loudly."

"Hotel was great, didn’t realise it was situated over the top of a pub. But we didn’t research. The supreme king bed was the absolute best thing ever! So comfy and nice big comfy pillows!
Sink to wash hands located in room not toilet which we found odd and cleaner only made 1 side of the bed not the other. But great friendly staff, clean room pretty darn good for the price!"
"The motel was in a fairly convenient and quiet location. The amenities were adequate and fairly clean. The room got quite hot in the mornings due to being all windows."
"It was such a great accommodation experience that I cancelled all the hotels in Hobart for the next few nights and continued to stay at this lodge. The waiter mentioned that the owner was from Shanghai, and the relevant facilities and equipment were still in line with Chinese habits. There was also a very traditional fireplace, which the children were very interested in.
The hotel is located in a relatively high area and overlooks the night view of Hobart. It is very quiet. The breakfast provided is not very varied but very delicious. The heating and other supplies are also sufficient. On the last night, a room with a kitchen was opened for us to fry a steak and drink a few glasses of wine. It was very comfortable."
"If you are in Hobart I can tell you the best place to stay is the Tower motel, my wife and i stayed there for 5 days the rooms are cleaned every day the staff are soooo good and direct you to all over Tassie if your lost. Speak to Ann front desk she is a wealth of information and such a nice person. The Tower Motel Hobart 5 minute drive from the centre of the city.we stayed 3rd 4th Feb then 11th 12th 13th feb Thank you to all the staff from David and Carmelita Griffiths."
"You can tell a lot about a motel by the toilet paper they use, and this place had soft but strong paper in place, so off to a good start.
This place isn't going to win any style awards any time soon, but it doesn't need to - it's a place to sleep, with good ckean sheets and a comfy mattress. It does what it says on the tin and is solid affordable accommodation."
"Discovery Park got all the basics. It is clean with all necessary appliances. Only downside was the unstable wifi. Perfect for self-driving road trip. Not recommend those relying on public transport."
