Many people come to the Blue Lake in RVs and yachts. Needless to say, the scenery of the Blue Lake is so beautiful. Sitting by the lake relaxes your teeth and scalp. The resort has separate toilets and shared toilets/bathrooms. Mostly locals come for water sports and swimming/camping, very few Chinese tourists. It is recommended to bring a swimming ring or surfboard from January to March. There are no restaurants around, so we brought instant noodles and tomatoes on our backs. After eating a few days later, we took a 10-minute taxi to the Landing Cafe next to Terawera Lake to eat. The beach was very lively on a sunny day, filled with children and adults with dogs🐶 Come and play in the water. The lake is crystal clear and opposite is a volcano. You can talk to local people with yachts and let them drive to the hot water beach at the foot of the volcano for a hot spring♨️.

This park charges $68 per night for a caravan space barely able to fit a caravan and car. Its facilities while modern are unclean and unsuitable for the number of campers. I would recommend that this campground should be avoided as there are several other campgrounds with older facilities at a much cheaper price. Compared to the Gisborne Top Ten this inferior

Very clean and tidy site with good facilities and friendly staff, Put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids nice play grounds and facilities for kids, proximity to the lake great. Proximity to all other things to do in Rotorua excellent.

Blue lakes top 10 is the best campsite we’ve stayed at. Fantastic playgrounds for the kids scattered around, beautiful bush, clean amenities, friendly staff. The Kids loved the Easter activities, especially the massive egg hunt.

LOVE Blue Lake Top 10. Very close to bike rides, close to town, or a gorgeous spot to stay & relax. Always very clean & tidy. Staff are friendly & attentive. Relaxed atmosphere, and the most family-friendly park we've ever stayed in. Fantastic holiday spot, we'll be back!

Worst place I’ve been too had dirty floors under the beds and couch mold on windows don’t even think that hygiene?? hair in my shower drain got blocked so hard staff had to pull it out, my cooking equipment and cutlery hadn’t been cleaned my duvet cover wasn’t changed from the previous stayer who knows when they were last change them, there facilities were gross the showers hadn’t been clean properly especially at night the shower also smelt like sulphur.

Great location: very close to the lake and near town and attractions. Stayed in cabin with good layout and very nice bathroom Liked the convenient parking. Staff was friendly. Wished we had time to walk around the lake. Enjoyed watching ducks on the shore.

The actual cabin ensuite was very very small, as wide as the shower with the toilet at the other end. The kitchen sink did not drain away as it should. the toilet did not always flush everything away on the first flush. The back window frame was rotting. The TV did not work properly and we had office assistance to get it working on our first day. On our 3rd morning we could not get it to go again, but let it go as we were leaving that day. anyway. The best thing was it was clean.As for value for money if $580.75 siuts you for 3 nights go right ahead!

A Top 10 park, that had it all. Great facilities, and plenty of play activities for children. On a walk around the park we noticed the variety of options for visitors, from camping, campers, cabins, and the tenting experiences - all set up - you can just enjoy the experience - no setting up or packing up! The safari tenting option looked awesome too!
