Sonder the Fitz

I liked everything. The only inconvenience is the very small room and bathroom, especially bathroom very cramped for two people.

The staff have always been fantastic! They are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and equipped with everything you may need. They even furnish laundry pods! The public transit lines are easily accessible. Shopping is as well. Also, as a recovering alcoholic, the options and transportation to meetings and recovery spots are impressive and I greatly appreciate that. This is an amazing place to stay. I have only stayed a the downtown St. Paul MN property but, you guys will be my first pick if I end up going any other place. Thank you for being so awesome!!

Very Nice. Overall EXCELLENT! Modern, clean, comfortable!! Also nice to have a well stocked kitchenette. (A couple minor issues…There were some long hairs on the shower wall and liquid soap dispenser did not work.) Thank you for a wonderful stay

The hotel seemed newly renovated which was great. The dowside to that is that, when we checked in at midnight, the nicely outfitted rooms were covered in a thin layer of dust (from sanding walls?). A text to the hotel resulted in housekeeping being sent in the afternoon to try to clean that up. We hung out in the comfortable lobby while they cleaned. It was generally quiet except for a little construction noise at night. The location was convenient for us as we were visiting someone near Children's MN, and there were restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

It was brilliant place to stay, had small kitchen area. 10min walk from xl energy centre.

Unfortunately our non-smoking unit really smelled of smoke. We all noticed it immediately, and it was present the entire weekend. They forgot to provide bedding for the pullout couch, so we had to use bath towels as blankets the first night. Then they brought the bedding the next day. My friend got stuck inside the bathroom twice, door sticks BADLY. So, nothing awful but definitely could have been a more pleasant stay if these things were taken care of.

The first room’s bed was broken, there was a hole in the bathroom wall and graffiti above the toilet. We got moved to a new room and the door to the bedroom bathroom did not close all the way. The frame was too small for the door.

The stay was superior and I would likely stay with them again. My husband and I went to MN for a wedding and enjoyed the privacy, quietness, and usefulness of the studio room we stayed in. The place always had at least one physical staff member available during business hours. The room was well insulated from noise as we stayed downtown close to the capital. It had plenty of space for the two of us and came equipped with kitchen ware and kitchen utensils to cook all meals in. I will most likely stay with them again and they are located all over and internationally. They also let us extend our stay an extra night with no issues. Only downside was the parking. It had no on-site parking available to residents. However, it could’ve been just the location that this particular Sonder was in. This could vary state by state.

We arrived late due to flight delays. There was no shade on the window, we were on the second floor and every time a cat went by, lights world flag into our room and literally kept us up all night. There can't be any reason good enough to allow that to happen. We were able to get maintenance to install a shade curtain for our second night but we didn't sleep a wink then first night 😭
