I based my choosing of the rated 4 star hotel based on the information that was provided on their web site. None of the information was accurate and the inexperienced staff couldn't help but say we don't know. For starter, my confirmation email on the day before said they will hold a deposit security of 150$ on my credit card, on on location the agent said it was 200$ when I showed my email from the hotel that said 150$. Said she couldn't help me and that I had to pay it. The hotel website said they had a kids menu at the bistro and restaurant, once on location the staff said there was no such thing and the website is not updated. The F.A.Q. section also said for toddlers 5 years old and under they could eat for 5$ whit a paying adult, which also where false information. I had to pay a adult regular meal for each toddler with a apple juice at 5.22$. Overpriced food with disappointing taste. My room had many issues too. 1- a giant nail coming out of the dirty carpet (had to put my bag on top of it to not get me or my family injured at night when walking to go to the bath room, 2-the large shower head had no water pressured due to the head being so dirty and holes blocked, had a few sprinkles to shower 3- the nespresso coffee machine was broken, had to trick it with my experience of coffee machines to make it work 4- there was no mini fridge like mentionned on the website but a wine cooler to put kids milk and yogourt, had to use my cooler with ice to keep things fresh 5- the hater was not working, call in a staff and said he 's not a maintenance guy and they'll be there in 2 days (had to figure out by myself that i had to unplug the ac on the long extension cord that was on the floor and plug in the heater, the room couldn' t handle both units on the power supply 6- the inside pool was so cold because the staff left all the windows open had and lots of flies in the pool and the hot whirpool was not fonctionnal (i choose that hotel for the inside pool because the weather was rainy 3 days out of 4 on my vacation) 7- the kids swing and slide was so old and dangerous, the slide was missing 2 screws and was on the verge on falling out, there where pieces of wood with nails around the broken structure and when my kids started swinging, i had to hold the structure so it won't fall, after a few minutes it was becoming too dangerous 8- i brought my amazon stick for the kids to watch on rainy days but the wifi connected was always breaking down, poor router 9- i understood with covid and shortage of the staff that the service was one day out of two, but when it was done, the maintenance left all the dirty laundry, towels and bags on the whole alley, i had to circle trought them to get to my room the whole way, it was removed the next day 10- the room with microwaves and ice machine , there where dirty plates from room services that stayed on the tables for 24 hours, we couldn't use the tables in that room when we used the microwaves to fed the kids, had to

Stayed there for my 61st birthday. Asked for the nicest room. Got the worst bed on the planet. Felt like it was caving in the middle. Had to hold on to the edge to sleep. Management did not care. Head of hospitality didn’t care. Absolutely garbage. Stay anywhere else!!!! Anywhere or you’ll be so very sorry.

So disappointed, although I admit our expectations were low to begin with. The hotel needs a massive rehab. It is rated 4 stars but is borderline 4, at best. The trip began with a clogged sink and brown water flowing from the hot tap. We complained. Some attention was made, but the problem persisted. Eventually a couple of guys replaced some parts. But the sink still flowed brown. Finally we were moved to another room the next day. It was patently clear they are short staffed. We know everyone is suffering the Covid factor. Hard to get staff working at low wages back to crappy jobs. I really felt fore the small staff on hand. They worked hard and long hours, especially when three weddings were happening at once. They must have been exhausted, but it also made for difficulty getting served by the pool. Impossible to describe how mediocre the breakfast buffet was—at a high price. We did it once and bolted thereafter for Tim Horton’s. We avoided dinner which was probably lame. Lunch was fried food by the pool—fine but not really satisfying for a full week vacation. The room towels haven’t been replaced in years. Lighting dim, pillows hard.

We wanted to try the dinner buffet on a Saturday night. Meat options were fish, pork and braised beef. All of them were cold to my taste and fish was heavely overcooked. No fruits, although salad variety ok (not so fresh though), sink water, maxwell house coffee (or similar). For 35$ per adult you’d eat better at a Chinese buffet. I get it, it’s a buffet on top of a mountain. Still not worth it Drive 9min to Ste Adele and you’ll get something better. Not coming back

We decided to get away for a few days of skiing in the Laurentians, which is where we've often gone during the February Ontario Family Day break. The location at the top of a hill was great, but the hill wasn't all that challenging. However, it's extremely well situated being close to a number the smaller hills in the southern portion of the Laurentians. The price was right, and the rooms are nice, the bed comfortable, and the bathrooms have had a recent renovation. The main building was done sometime in the 60s I would think, and it still has that character to it. Nothing wrong, but it's definitely not a modern hotel. The only thing that I'd be critical about is the amount of noise that transmits from one part of the hotel to another, particularly in the two storey addition. Part of the noise was also a result of families travelling with younger children, and for some reason, they let their kids use the hallway as a race venue -- I guess to tire them out. It's not a problem of the place -- more a problem of the parents who are probably burned out from the pandemic. We also had dinner at the hotel, and it was good value, a very passable for the convenience and price. As we drive an electric car, it was also good to see that they had a number of charging spots (mostly for Teslas) - so if you do stay there, you can take advantage of the charging.

Great relaxing stay. My husband and I stayed 1 night just to relax. Manon at reception was excellent, she deserves a raise, thank you for your assistance with the spa issues that was totally not your fault and you made our experience that much more pleasant. Room was rustic, cosy and clean, just what we needed. Rom service was excellent and thank you to the young blond girl who delivered our meals quickly, you were very polite and attentive Im sorry I didn’t ask you your name. Bed was comfy and the fireplace was a nice touch. The only negative thing I need to comment on is the newly renovated shower does not have any shelves to place your soap or shampoo etc on… something to look into. Enjoy!

Stay? What stay. Book a room a couple of weeks ago for this labor day weekend with the wife. We received 2 confirmations confirming. We arrive on Saturday the 4th of September. We are given key cards for room 114. Get to room. Cards don't work. Go back to front desk. Given new cards. They still don't work. Maintenance man comes to open door to find another family in room. We find out room was double booked. They feel bad. All booked but they offer us what they call the so called Presidental Suite. We want to see the room first. Thank God. Room was disgusting, dirty, dingy and smelly. Dirty crooked mirror. Old room making it sound it was renovated. It sure wasn't. We asked to be reimbursed. All other hotels in area. Booked solid. Drove back home to Montreal. They double booked and they didn't care that we drove back home and she even tells us Have a good night. What a joke. Never going back.

My husband and I took a three days deal on their website. A superior room with a king size bed. Room was nice, hotel staff extremely nice but for almost 200$/night with taxes, nobody came to our room to, at least empty the paper basket, put more coffee cups ans even toilet paper. We had to go to the main office to fetch that during our stay. I thought for that price, we would have been more taken care of.

We stayed here from the 23 to 27 August 2021. this was our 1st vacation following the lifting of most Covid restrictions . It is important to verify what the hotel is offering due to Covid's impact. We had stayed here previously and had a very different stay. The hotel was not able to give the same high level of a Resort vacation due to no fault of management. Unfortunately they are unable to open Le Gabriel (main restaurant) for meals other than breakfast due to an important lack of staff. They did however provide lunch and supper at the BBQ. We had the Lamb Kafta, duck breast skewers with a Mediterranean couscous and flank steak served with a delicious chimachure. The food was well prepared and presented and was good. I have to say that I was disappointed in the choices of meals on offer. I was so looking forward to a gourmet 3 course meal. The resort offers golf, an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a variety of other sports such as tennis, shuffleboard etc. When I spoke with management about my disappoin**ent they were receptive and happy to help us enjoy our vacation as best as they could due to their lack of staff. When the impact of covid lessens we will surely come back for another stay.
