Hotel Kilbourne

The gentleman at the desk was very kind and made you feel extremely welcome. He was very informative and helpful too!! The room itself was luxurious and relaxing. Never stayed anywhere that the bed was so heavenly!!! Can’t wait for another chance to stay!! Honestly, there isn’t enough room to rave enough about such a wonderful place to stay!

This is our second time staying here. Every room is unique and different. The decor and decorations are amazing. We talked about decorating our house like one of the rooms. They also have a rooftop bar that overlooks the lake.

What a great find. We were on our way home from a two week road trip and Sandusky happened to be within our driving distance home. Hotel Kilbourne is a great boutique hotel with everything you may need. Great food, great bars, fabulous service and each room is an artistic find. You can see the attention to detail in every space. If you’re in the area, it’s a great place for couples or friends.

This place was incredible from the moment we walked through the doors we were greeted by the desk clerk and our rooms were simply amazing! Cant say enough good things about this little gem of a hotel! P.S. The beds were simply dreamy!

Older facility but well-maintained. The big attraction is location downtown within walking distance. Public parking across the street.

Liked the unique room decorations. Disappointed that there wasn’t coffee available, just expresso. Not everyone likes expresso. We enjoyed the Taco restaurant.

Eclectic hotel in restored building on lake Erie waterfront. Very arty, friendly. Surgically clean. Latin restaurant and roof top bar with great views of lake, islands. Area has boutiques, restaurants within walking distance. Fun time.

Wonderful stay in this very cool boutique hotel! Restaurant in hotel was also awesome!

Check in took over twenty minutes. Wouldn't let us use the luggage cart. The $75 refundable pet deposit I advertised on all platforms is a non refundable pet deposit in their eyes. Room was very damp and musky. Smallest hotel room I've ever been in It is very sad because the location is amazing with so many dining and entertainment options. Will be visiting Sandusky again but won't be staying at this hotel
