BBeiluoaolicangtezhanghengAs a mother traveling with two children, the front desk graciously upgraded us to a corner sea-view suite, even though we had originally booked a standard sea-view room. The room was incredibly spacious, boasting a 270-degree panoramic ocean view from the balcony – it truly felt perfect for a young couple on their honeymoon! Regarding the underwater restaurant, it's absolutely crucial to book your seats in advance. I didn't, and consequently, all the window seats were taken, which definitely detracted from the experience. Thankfully, someone didn't show up halfway through, and the staff kindly moved us to a tunnel table. My kids absolutely loved interacting with the mermaids, making it a fantastic experience! In summary, if you're staying at the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort, a sea-view room and a visit to the underwater restaurant are absolute must-dos. Otherwise, the overall experience is quite similar to what you'd find at other hotels in Haitang Bay. Those two aspects are definitely the highlights, and shouldn't be missed!

As a senior travel enthusiast, I travel between business trips and vacations all year round, and have my own insights into the hotel's service quality and facility experience. Grand Hyatt Hotel left a deep impression on me. Whether it is the overall environment of the hotel or the meticulousness of the service staff, I have benefited a lot from this trip. First, let me talk about the hotel environment. Sanya Haitang Bay is located in the southeast of Sanya City and is one of the most beautiful bays in Sanya. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and sea, covering a vast area, surrounded by green trees and sunny. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby, you can feel a comfortable and comfortable atmosphere. The lobby is decorated in elegant style, with the fresh atmosphere of citrus and sea breeze everywhere. The public areas of the hotel are designed in a simple and elegant manner, whether they are swimming pools, gyms, restaurants or bars. The room I stayed in was the Supreme Sea View Room, which was very spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the hotel's garden. The interior of the room is elegantly decorated, with exquisite furnishings, everything is available, the bathroom is spacious and bright, and is equipped with a separate bathtub and shower. Importantly, the bedding in the room was very comfortable and I slept very sweetly every night. In addition to excellent hardware facilities, the hotel's service is also excellent. Moreover, stringent controls were in place for ingredient freshness and presentation quality, resulting in both excellent taste and appealing appearance, which truly guaranteed a high-quality dining experience. On the service front, the butler service was particularly outstanding. The butler team was prompt in their responses, professional in their demeanor, and incredibly thoughtful. Their meticulous attention to detail, from guiding guests through check-in and responding to requests to offering personalized care, was evident throughout. They proactively addressed any issues guests might have, truly embodying the hotel's high-quality service standards and making the entire stay convenient and exceptionally comfortable. GGuest UserAn absolutely perfect stay! The Bird's Nest Resort is sprawling. If you opt for the East Wing, you'll be conveniently close to the resort's only two restaurants. Choose the West Wing, and you'll be just steps away from the magnificent Cliffside Heavenly Pool. No matter which wing you choose, you can simply message the WeChat customer service to arrange a buggy transfer to your desired location within the resort or any attraction in Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park. The buggy service is usually prompt, arriving within 2 minutes; however, during busy periods, it might take up to 15 minutes. Comfortable seating is provided at all waiting points, so waiting is never a bother. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with excellent bedding and amenities that met all expectations. Upon check-in, I immediately sprayed the room with mosquito repellent. Whether this was the reason or not, we didn't encounter any insects indoors. That said, we did spot some large geckos and spiders outdoors, but these didn't detract from our overall experience. The Western restaurant boasts beautiful views. The Cliffside Heavenly Pool infinity pool is absolutely stunning – who else has an infinity pool featuring natural rocks and lush trees, all while offering panoramic ocean vistas from a mountaintop perspective! When you visit the forest park, I recommend asking the customer service to take you to Tropical Paradise Square. Afterwards, you can directly take the zipline down to Orchid Valley for 100 RMB. The 100 RMB zipline consists of four exciting segments, providing a fun, refreshing, and absolutely exhilarating experience! I'll definitely be returning to stay at the Bird's Nest Resort again; I absolutely loved it!

Special thanks to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, and pool attendants — they work professionally and with care. However, international guests should be aware: the front desk staff speak almost no English. In my case, this resulted in confusion during check-in, issues with payment, and overall stress after a long flight and a typhoon. Even the simplest requests turned into a challenge with a translator, and sometimes into wasted time. Another point — some services (such as movie access or sunbeds by the pool) unexpectedly turned out to be paid, although this was not mentioned on Trip.com. For local guests this may be normal, but for international visitors it’s important to know. The room was comfortable, with a good bed and balcony, and the cleaning and grounds were excellent. But overall, the stay felt more tiring than relaxing. After this hotel, I stayed at other international chains (Hyatt, etc.) and immediately felt the difference: there, staff speak English and have modern translation devices. Conclusion: If you are a Chinese traveler, you will probably enjoy this hotel. If you are an international guest looking for comfort and peace of mind without language barriers, it is better to choose an international brand hotel on the island.

YYQSBK201We stayed at the Hua Hai Pavilion. First and foremost, a big thank you to Cassic from the Executive Lounge for their exceptional service throughout our stay. My girlfriend and I came to Sanya for a marriage proposal. Having shared our proposal plans with Cassic in advance, the timing and venue arrangements were absolutely perfect. We were assigned a sea-view room directly facing the ocean, and the proposal setup exceeded all our expectations, creating an unforgettable memory for both my girlfriend and me. We were extremely satisfied with the room, facilities, and cleanliness. The hotel is very close to the beach, just a two to three-minute walk away. There's a hotel-exclusive section on the beach with sun loungers, where staff members provide towels, drinking water, and even swimming rings. Each day, seashells were delivered to our room, along with the sunrise and sunset times written on them. This really showed their excellent attention to detail. The Executive Lounge's all-day food offerings were incredibly convenient and delicious. All in all, it was an incredibly satisfying proposal and holiday experience. Once again, a big thank you to Cassic and the Executive Lounge staff for their truly welcoming and hospitable service. I was so focused on the proposal that I didn't get many photos of the room. Pictures one and two show the direct sea view from the room, with no Photoshop or color correction. Picture three is an interior shot (please overlook our messy luggage), just for reference.

CChristieThis hotel was excellent. There are 2 pools, both very clean and large. The staff also frequently check the pool and maintain it in excellent condition. The highlight….the breakfast buffet was amazing!!!!! It had multiple stations including BBQ, noodles, traditional dim sum, western breakfast options, Thai/malay curry, pastries, desserts and an excellent assortment of fresh tropical fruit. They had guava, passion fruit and fresh melons. Would definitely come again and stay longer so that I can see other parts of the island.

GGuest UserI personally really did not enjoying my stay at this hotel. I felt it was more of a mainstream Chinese tour group hotel than an international high-end brand. The breakfast was so busy full of so many people the swimming pools were really bad. Are they too small and weird shaped and closed. you can’t swim on the beach here. There was only two check in staff for 1 million people so expect to have to wait to check in. If you have kids, maybe it’s fine but for Western tourists especially those without kids I would strongly recommend not to stay here.

YYuanannaBefore we checked in, the housekeeper Kiki contacted us proactively. We thought it was just an online housekeeper, but we didn't expect that he would show up when we checked in and lead us. Along the way, he asked us about our needs and adaptability, and asked us if we needed an introduction to the hotel. He also introduced the room facilities after we entered the room. Kiki responded and solved various problems in a timely manner. Because I was with my children, I encountered more problems, but there was a staff member who was very nice. Several families came to help us solve the problems every time, saying that they were worried that we had been waiting for a long time. I later asked Kiki his name, which was Wang Chenglong. I don't know if the evaluation is useful, but I am really grateful to them both.

CCamillaKJI had fairly high expectations when I got to this location, but unfortunately the standard was fairly low. It might be due to the fact that covid has affected this area. The maintaining of the hotel wasn't great. Our bathroom door was broken, the sofa pillows had dirty spots on them, the pool chairs are all covered in dirt, people were smoking in the elevators not taking it into consideration that there are a lot of kids here, and other people that doesn't want to inhale smoke for that matter.. I spoke to the reception about the smoking and they Confirmed it isn't legal, but they didn't have anyone to take care of the matter so nothing they could do if someone were to smoke. The swimming pools around as well as in the water park were all very cold, a lot of dirty pools in the water park too. Because of the cold unpleasant to swim unless it was very sunny. The Breakfast was a disaster. Too crowded with people and just very basic chinese food. We ended up only eating raw vegetables and fruit the one time we went. We were also told a bedrail or a crib would be arranged for our daughter, but that didn't happen. We ended up using the sofa in the room to create some sort of barrier to assure she wouldn't fall out the bed and hit the hard floor. The Restaurants around at the time all took 40 minutes or more to serve us anything, repeatedly forgetting drinks and dishes, despite the fact that there was barely any people there. The portions are fairly small as well and quite pricy considering. We ended up just ordering online instead from other restaurants. It was nice our Daughter had a big play place to enjoy at least, the large one they have on site indoors. Besides that, I do regret choosing this location. It was for our Daughter, but unfortunately not much around she could enjoy properly. The smell of urine when you walk around is a bit off putting as well, many kids pee on the streets, as well as right next to the roof top sandpit. I Understand it's hard to control kids needing to go to the bathroom, but because of this it would have been nice if the hotel chose to raise the standard of their overall cleaning. Also a little bit inconvenient that the rooms only have one chair on the balconies. Fairly quiet when you're in the room, that was nice the least.
