"Wingate by Wyndham is absolutely amazing! It's in a prime location, right next to a pedestrian street, and just a 5-minute walk to the Potala Palace, close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The hotel is very new, with a sophisticated and elegant decor that blends ******* elements. The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers throughout – a godsend for those worried about altitude sickness. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation and even a Dyson hairdryer, showing great attention to detail. The 6th-floor rooftop restaurant offers a prime viewing spot, and seeing the golden roof of the Potala Palace in the morning and evening is breathtaking. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, offering Hada scarves and complimentary room upgrades. The breakfast is delicious. New facilities, excellent service, and an unbeatable location – definitely the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa!"

"I was so lucky to find this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the layout was warm and comfortable. It was a pleasant and leisurely stay. Especially on the terrace, you can see the Potala Palace and the mountains in the distance. The shock is beyond words. In the early morning or evening, watching the Potala Palace show different styles in the changing light and shadow, I feel that my soul has been cleansed. This accommodation experience is great. "This quaint Tibetan-style hotel is located just inside Barkhor Street. It is very convenient to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. There are also many delicious shops nearby. The proprietress is very welcoming. I originally booked another hotel, but because it couldn't accommodate people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, I changed to this Babao Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the result."

"The hotel environment is excellent, and it's very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely have stayed a few more days if I hadn't already booked my flight. The hotel activities are also great. However, I was quite disappointed with the front desk service. We had two rooms in our party, and one of them was upgraded, but we weren't informed. When I called the front desk, the first time they said they were busy with check-ins. The second time I called, they told me the room card was incorrect. A little later, they said it was an upgrade. I'm not sure how credible the front desk's statements are. Then, the next day, when I inquired about the deposit refund, they initially told me the deposit for room 501 had been returned. I told them I paid 1000 for both rooms together, and then they said room 507 hadn't been inspected yet. I'm not sure if the hotel front desk has proper systematic training. I booked for one night, and both explanations from the front desk felt deceptive. I hope the hotel can provide more training for their front desk staff. Although the front desk's actions made me uncomfortable, I'm very satisfied with how the hotel manager handled the situation. He went back and forth several times to resolve it for me and kept apologizing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Lhasa next time, but I sincerely hope they can thoroughly and systematically train their front desk staff. After all, it's a high-end hotel, but the front desk's communication style doesn't seem to match that standard."

"This stay was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel's location is fantastic, not too far from the Potala Palace, and the area is quiet, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. "Staying at Puxin for my Lhasa trip was a great choice, I was really happy with it overall. The location is super convenient; you can walk to several main attractions, which saved a lot of travel time. The rooms aren't super luxurious, but they're clean and practical, with thoughtful touches like disposable towels, bath towels, and toilet seat covers. Some rooms even have individual oxygen concentrators, and there's nasal oxygen available in the lobby, which was very reassuring for adjusting to Lhasa's altitude. The owner can help with booking tours and recommending itineraries, which made planning our excursions to nearby areas much easier – we took so many scenic photos! What impressed me most, though, was the owner's attitude. He was incredibly warm and helpful without being intrusive, giving advice and solving problems like a friend. Plus, the Potala Palace view from the rooftop is fantastic. Definitely worth staying here!"

"The room is very new and the decoration is very artistic. Dyson hair dryer, Marshall speakers, capsule coffee machine, really very practical. I didn't see the Jo Malone shower gel that was commented on before. The room is relatively small. The housekeeper was very considerate to turn on the humidifier. As a result, after eating, the quilt and pillow were all wet. The housekeeper worked hard to change the quilt cover and pillowcase. There was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, the room was stuffy, and it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast was very clean and exquisite, especially the small buns, which were delicious. You can also park in the alley in front of the homestay. The housekeeper suggested parking in the parking lot across the road, which is a little inconvenient. You can see the back of the Potala Palace from the roof, and it's okay to take pictures. The location is a bit far from the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. It's too much for children to walk from the homestay. In short, it's not as good as the comments, maybe the expectations are too high."

"The hotel service was excellent. Staff helped with luggage upon arrival and departure. The room had an oxygen concentrator, and there's a doctor available 24/7 on the first floor, which is a huge plus for guests worried about altitude sickness. Room service also brought up our takeout and a case of mineral water. The Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, especially the rice noodles which were perfectly to my taste. Many foreigners stay here. The one-on-one WeChat service with Riri was incredibly helpful and responsive to all our needs. I'll definitely be staying at The St. Regis Lhasa again next time I'm in Lhasa."
