"The hotel boasts a tranquil and serene environment 👍. The lawn is thick and clean, free of branches or dead leaves, and is constantly being tidied up. There's an outdoor pool and a kids' water park, both with very clean water. The hot spring pools, built into the mountainside (like the Baicao Pool and natural sulfuric mineral hot springs) are fantastic 👍 – it's incredibly relaxing to soak in them after a tiring day. The kids' play area is a bit small, better suited for younger children, but it offers a rich variety of activities; older kids can enjoy crafts and other options. The specialty Qingbuliang for breakfast is better than takeout 👍, and dishes like sour noodles and Hainanese fried noodles are also very distinctive. Even after staying for several days, I didn't get tired of the food. I'll definitely be back to stay again."

"Traveling with 4 adults and 1 child, the apartment was clean and tidy. The check-in office at the complex entrance was easy to find; a taxi drops you right there. After checking in, the staff helped us move our luggage to the shuttle and drove us directly to our building. For daily travel, Didi (ride-hailing) picks up and drops off right downstairs, which is super convenient. The apartment itself has a great view and is very spacious. The sofa bed in the smaller room was perfect for me and the baby, so I didn't have to worry about them rolling off the bed. The swimming pool within the complex deserves a special mention – the scenery is absolutely stunning, and it's never crowded. The beach was also nearly empty, feeling very natural and secluded. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the Qingshuiwan food street. If you have a car or rent an electric scooter, getting around would be incredibly easy. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'm very satisfied."

"We arrived around 2 PM for check-in. There weren't many people, and it only took about ten minutes, but the first room was a connecting room. The front desk didn't mention this at all, and we could hear every word from next door. We asked the concierge to change rooms, and thankfully the hotel responded quickly. However, I'm really annoyed that the front desk assigned me a connecting room without even asking. I've never encountered this at any other hotel. During our stay, the housekeeper would ask every day if we wanted the room cleaned. Does this even need to be asked? If I don't put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, shouldn't they just clean it? Later, I found out asking didn't matter anyway. I have long hair, and the hair I shed on the first day of washing was still clogging the shower drain when we checked out. The shower wasn't cleaned at all, and it got progressively slippery over the days, which was beyond frustrating. At one point, I happened to be in the room when a cleaner came. I'd give him ten minutes at most – he just rushed through and left. Plus, the hotel doesn't provide a high-speed hair dryer. I've only seen these old-style dryers in hotels seven or eight years ago. I've stayed at over ten hotels in Hainan every year, and this is the first time I've encountered this. It takes at least half an hour to dry my waist-length hair. For my daughter and me, it took over an hour just for drying hair, which was a huge waste of time. We also encountered a large summer camp group during our stay, with over a hundred kids. Breakfast was pure chaos. On our last day, we finally didn't run into them and had a relatively peaceful breakfast. Our visit to the Ocean World also coincided with this group. They had several sub-groups, and each group would send members ahead to reserve seats for every show. My child and I had to watch the performances from behind a sea of heads. Others had reviewed the amusement park as having few people and no queues, but with this summer camp group, we had to queue for several rides. It was scorching hot, and we couldn't perfectly avoid them every time. We didn't want to go out of our way either, so I was just utterly exasperated... We bought two-day passes, but by the second day, my child was so traumatized she refused to go back. Finally, this was my first time seeing African giant snails in Hainan, especially at night in the greenery about a meter away from the kids' pool slide. There was a whole cluster of them, some even bigger than an adult's fist. We didn't see many during the sunny daytime, but at night, with the high humidity around the pool, all the snails started moving towards it. I reported it to the pool staff, but they just nodded and completely ignored me. Kids are naturally curious, and luckily, we always teach our child not to touch African giant snails because they carry parasites and can cause meningitis! But there's no guarantee that every child near the pool has this awareness and won't touch them! I absolutely cannot understand why the hotel doesn't take this seriously! I've stayed at other hotels in Hainan and never seen African giant snails, only common local species like geckos and small lizards."

"The hotel was renovated completely and the rooms are very modern & spacious. Comfy bed, balcony with sea view and very friendly personnel who allowed late check-out. Clothes drying rack is available. The hotel stay comes with multiple gifts. My personal highlight was the photoshoot! :-) Only minus point is that it can get loud at night as the hotel is nearby the vivid bar street."

"The boathouse-style rooms are unique and has good quality amenities. The gardens surrounding it are well tended, with a soothing sea view at the plunge pool area. It is a cul de sac, with a gangplank promenade of restaurants (but nothing to shout about). What was a real disappointment is the beach further along that is curbed due to construction work - it is no longer possible to walk the whole length of the beach. So what is left in this area is a sad, dirty small beach. There is no accessible beach in front of the guesthouse."

"After exiting the high-speed rail station, someone from the guesthouse was already there to pick us up. The next day, someone drove us to Fenjiezhou Island. When we wanted to visit nearby beaches, they lent us electric scooters for free, and cruising around was super enjoyable! The young ladies and the drivers were all very enthusiastic. In the evening, they brought us some fruit, and breakfast was provided in the morning. On top of all that, the accommodation price was really affordable – excellent value for money! Five-star rating! The picture shows the coconuts in the yard; there were so many hanging there."

"I specifically booked the Seaview Resort for snorkeling, but the room facilities were truly subpar. The 'snorkeling' just meant they provided some equipment; the instructor simply handed over a life vest and a mask and then paddled away, without explaining any safety precautions or guiding us. It was completely self-service. The mask was so blurry that I couldn't see anything underwater. I had to lift my head out of the water just to catch a glimpse of a few small fish, and the variety of fish was very limited. There were some manta rays, but not many. Overall, the experience was mediocre. However, I would still recommend staying on the island for one night. You could choose a different room type. In the evening, after the day-trippers leave, the island loses its hustle and bustle, and the island bathed in morning light is truly beautiful."

"On my last day in Lingshui, I sat at the tatami tea table, gazing at the view outside the window that gradually shifted from blue to orange-pink, and suddenly felt reluctant to leave. The hotel's tatami suites perfectly embody the minimalist aesthetic of the Song Dynasty, incorporating the principles of simplicity and negative space into every inch. From the natural wood latticework and elegant cotton and linen curtains to the warm-feeling teaware, even the window frames resemble picture frames, making it feel like stepping right onto the beach. In the morning, I could walk barefoot on the soft white sand, and in the evening, the sound of the waves seemed like background music. The most delightful surprise was the private tatami tea table—perfect for boiling water, brewing local white tea, watching the sea, daydreaming, and waiting for the sunset. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the popular Shuikou Bridge road. The macaron-colored railings and pavement, paired with the blue sky and sea, make for stunning photos; it's also close to Xiangshui Bay, offering a tranquil escape from the crowds. The resort boasts a private outdoor swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court, billiards room, children's playground, gym, and library—enough to easily while away an entire afternoon. Nearby water activities include surfing, jet skiing, banana boating, and yacht fishing—don't miss out! Fun! Exciting! Guests also enjoy exclusive discounts; the benefits we secured were truly substantial, even the instructors praised the price as ”incredibly worthwhile.” But what truly makes it memorable is the people here. Upon check-out, the receptionist chased after us with a bottle of ice water, reminding us, ”Remember to reapply sunscreen this afternoon,” her tone as warm as family. Every question was gently answered, every need carefully noted—such service is more heartwarming than the scenery. This hotel, imbued with Song Dynasty charm and genuine sincerity, is where I'll stay again next time I'm in Hainan, to drink tea, gaze at the sea, and reconnect with time."

"Banxia Hotel! The name itself speaks volumes about summer! They chose a high floor for me! The room was spotless and clean! The lighting was great! The living room was spacious and had a large refrigerator! The large balcony had an incredible 180-degree ocean view! You can also see the ocean from your room! Sitting on the balcony at night, listening to the waves and feeling the sea breeze was incredibly relaxing! We stayed for four nights! Both adults and children didn't want to leave! I hope to stay here again next year! The hotel is very close to the beach! Just a few dozen meters downstairs is the beach 🏖️, so convenient! Overall, I was very satisfied!"

"I came to Lingshui for a babymoon and instantly fell in love with Raffles! The entire experience was perfect. The environment was comfortable, and the service was gentle and attentive. It's a true hidden gem for pregnant mothers looking to relax and unwind. The hotel's public areas exude an amazing ambiance, with lush Southeast Asian tropical garden scenery. The coconut groves are vibrant and flourishing, the grounds are clean and tranquil, and the greenery is artfully arranged. The pathways are flat and easy to walk, with no steep inclines, making them perfect for pregnant women to stroll, get some fresh air, and relax. Every photo taken here turns out beautifully. The room stay experience was superb. The room was spacious and airy, with soft, non-glaring natural light and a comfortable, uncrowded layout. The entire room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the facilities were complete. It was quiet and not noisy, making it especially suitable for pregnant mothers to rest and recuperate peacefully and comfortably. The hotel's private beach was meticulously maintained, with fine, soft sand. It was uncrowded and wonderfully peaceful, with a gentle and comfortable sea breeze. A slow walk there is incredibly therapeutic for both mind and body. What touched me most was the hotel's thoughtful and personalized service, especially how attentive and friendly they were to pregnant guests! The staff were gentle and meticulous throughout, proactively checking on my physical condition, offering soothing services, and avoiding noisy or strenuous arrangements. The attention to detail was exceptional. Our dedicated butler had already arranged non-slip mats and pregnancy-friendly pillows in the room. They were always on call, patiently responding to all our needs, making everything so convenient and worry-free. The complimentary travel photography service was also fantastic. The photographer was incredibly gentle and considerate, slowing down the pace and guiding us throughout, avoiding harsh sunlight and uncomfortable poses. The candid shots were natural and beautiful, and the original photos had incredibly high quality, making it easy to capture stunning and gentle babymoon photos. Overall, the environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. The warm and thoughtful details made the stay truly healing. It's a high-quality hotel perfectly suited for a peaceful getaway."
