"My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here! Despite the city noise from a nearby construction site, the hotel itself was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. It really exceeded our expectations and delivered on everything promised. We stayed in a beautiful suite on the 2nd floor with a cosy balcony that gave us plenty of privacy. On arrival, we were welcomed with afternoon tea and small snacks, which set the tone right away. The suite was sparkling clean — something very important to me — and even had a massive TV, perfect for winding down with a movie at night. Thoughtful touches like oxygen supplementation by the bed and an electric blanket for chilly nights made our stay extra comfortable. Honestly, we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. I personally loved the design of both the hotel and the room — it felt so warm and welcoming that I didn’t want to leave. The location couldn’t be better: right in the center of Songpan on a quieter street, just a few minutes’ walk to explore the whole town, grab coffee, or try local food. The staff were incredible — extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive to our personal requests, even before our arrival. They really made us feel taken care of. Breakfast is a traditional Chinese-style one, with steamed buns, stir-fried veggies, eggs, and rice porridge. If that’s not your thing, there are plenty of nearby spots for coffee and other options. Overall, we left with the feeling that we had chosen the best hotel in town. I’ll definitely stay here again if we return to Songpan."

"This B&B has clean, tidy rooms with complete amenities. The owner proactively contacted me by phone to arrange a pick-up at the station and let me know the price for a shared ride, so I didn't get ripped off. I also rented a car directly from her to visit the attractions, eliminating the hassle of finding one outside, and the price was reasonable. I booked late and didn't get a larger room, but when one became available, the owner proactively asked if I needed a change. The breakfast was delicious, like Japanese food, with individual portions for each person, and refills available. We even had some packed up for us. I also want to give a special thank you to the owner. I bought some local specialties from Songpan that were difficult to carry, and she enthusiastically delivered them to my home. That was so thoughtful! Songpan's Zaga Waterfall is amazing, and I particularly enjoyed the ancient city. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu, and I definitely recommend staying at this B&B again. It was a truly wonderful experience! 👍"

"From the moment we arrived we were well looked after by Mike and his family. The hotel is really nice, with a lovely garden next to the river. We ate most nights in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and Mike ensured we had vegetarian food as requested. Mike speaks English very well. He arranged for us to go on some day trips with his sister who also speaks good English. Highly recommend!"

"This B&B is newly opened, and the rooms are very clean and spacious. It's also very close to Songpan Ancient Town, less than a 5-minute walk away. You can contact the B&B owner to pick you up at the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient. The owner and his family are also super, super nice! !!! They even have their own yak soup pot, and the beef is perfectly cooked and tender! Hahaha (it's super delicious paired with their own wild mushroom soup!) They also have local yak yogurt and sweet tea! The yak yogurt is highly recommended! You absolutely have to try it, and add sugar! If you want to visit nearby attractions, you can ask the owner to contact the driver (to avoid being ripped off!). Overall, a 15-point rating!"

"I came to Jiuzhaigou during the May Day holiday, but I couldn't buy a high-speed rail ticket from Jiuhuang Station to Chengdu, so I bought a high-speed train ticket from Songpan and blindly chose this hotel near the high-speed rail station. Overall, the experience was very good and I would like to share this with other travelers for reference. Facilities: relatively complete, the room has a long table. There is also air conditioning. The bathroom provides disposable toilet seats and compressed towels, which is quite a surprise. The shower is a three-in-one type with strong water pressure and quick hot water. There are also shower caps, mirror lights, hair bands, etc., which are very considerate of female tourists. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that because it is close to the highway, there will be traffic sounds on the side facing the road at night. I wonder if the rooms on the other side will be better. Hygiene: Good. Environment: It is more than one kilometer away from Songpan High-speed Railway Station, right on the roadside, easy to find and convenient. We took the Jiulv Yuexing bus from Jiuzhaigou and chose the high-speed rail station as our stop, but we asked the driver to drop us off at the door of the hotel, which he succeeded (otherwise it would have been too cold to trek on the plateau at night). The hotel's frontage is not big, but the area upstairs is quite large and the owner is very good at tidying it up. There are two or three Hui restaurants around, and the taste is about the average level of small restaurants on Chuanxi Road. Service: Very good, worthy of special praise. The boss and his family were very friendly and offered to take us to the high-speed rail station the next morning, which thoughtfully saved us from the worry of walking a kilometer to the station with our luggage. Thanks to the boss lady. It was a great stay, especially in the warm evening when the temperature dropped after a sudden rain in the plateau. The price is very affordable compared to the hotels near Jiuzhaigou which are heavily overpriced during the May Day holiday. Recommend accommodation to other travelers."

"This hotel has arguably the best facilities in the entire ancient city. The breakfast is plentiful and generally meets all your needs. The interior design is similar to that of the chain Orange Atour, and the rooms are spacious. We stayed in room 8509. We had a minor hiccup, but the front desk lady was friendly, gentle, and quick to resolve the issue. She was very knowledgeable. The hotel is a bit far from the ancient city, about a 15-minute walk, and is 20 meters away in a small alley. There's an observation deck on the eighth floor, which is truly stunning. Taxis are easily hailed from the door, and Didi taxis arrive in about five minutes. However, during holiday seasons, Didi will increase the fare to 15 one-way to the ancient city. Songpan Ancient City is located at an altitude of 2,800 meters, which may cause altitude sickness for tourists from coastal areas. We recommend resting for a day before visiting the two scenic spots of Munigou the next day. Our family took a taxi from the hotel to the visitor center, then took a bus to the scenic spots for 40 yuan per person, which was very cost-effective. The bus driver was also very friendly and professional in explaining the attractions."

"The hotel is located at the entrance of Songpan Ancient City, with a large parking lot. I booked an executive twin room. When the front desk staff saw our family of three, they were afraid that the room was too small to accommodate us, so they took the initiative to upgrade to a larger viewing room. The air conditioning in the room was great. The bathroom was large, with four areas: toilet, restroom, bathtub and shower. Since we were shopping in the ancient city, we returned to the room almost at the check-out point. After informing the front desk, the front desk comforted us to pack our luggage slowly and processed a late check-out."
