Very comfy stay, friendly staffs and great location very near to Yuan Garden.

Wonderful experience! All the staff were attentive, polite, helpful and so accommodating to our needs and questions. The hotel has laundry facilities and a gym, free to use. Breakfast was a good spread, Chinese style mainly. Right next to Yu Garden and crossing a few streets takes you to the Bund. The rooms look like their photos and the “XiaoDu”AI operating the room is such fun, just that it only speaks Chinese. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back.

Good location and friendly staff

Location of hotel is right next to yu garden. Love that there is a family mart located right next to the entrance.Staff were all very polite and accommodating. Service was excellent. Will definitely revisit when I am in Shanghai.

The building is very old. No auto air conditioner. Breakfast service is not good. Too expensive, not worth the money.

Staff are very helpful and passionate. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Walking distance to Yu Garden, which is located just behind the hotel. Also, they can help to receive delivery.

It is a lovely hotel, near everywhere., but we are vegetarian so the breakfast food is limited for us, even though we inform the kitchen, hope the management can do something about it. And I can review in happy cow (a world wide vegetarian app), can push up the popularity of this hotel.

Orange Crystal hotel location is neighbours of Yu Yuan garden and only walking distance to The Bund which is a must visit tour destination in Shanghai. Subway station (Yu Yuan) is just opposite across the street, therefore you can reach as many destinations as you want. Furthermore surrounding the hotel there are abundant shops selling various types of food, convenience shops and even a tattoo parlour is closed. The front desk staff are friendly, polite and professional, when I check in the lady seriously finds me two rooms on the same floor since we're family and the other staff offer hot tea as we arrive. This kind of hospitality is hard to find in a common hotel. Last but not least the hotel is well maintained, clean, equipped with fresh and modern facilities, they also provide breakfast, plenty of mineral water, soft drinks, coffee and tea powder. The hotel is worth of money and I will stay again when I visit Shanghai in the future

Excellent location - within walking distance to the mrt (not sheltered), yu garden (just 2 minutes away), and the bund. Very accessible to major tourist attractions via ride hailing. Chinese speaking Staff - Was very helpful and friendly to provide basic services e.g. refilling amenities, general hotel enquiries i and at check-in /out. However do not expect them to go beyond if you want to get tips on travel tips e.g. restaurants, places to go etc. there was also a robot to deliver ammenties to your room. Facilities - rooms were clean, though the room we got assigned to was older and quite cramped. The hotel lobby is dark and has a musty smell (probably due to weather). The facade of the hotel can be improved as the lobby and lift area and restaurant looks dull. The ceiling indoor was leaking one of the days. Food - hotel breakfast options were limited. We managed to find many clean and affordable local eateries and also Tim Horten's next door. Quite a couple open early by 730am. All within walking distance. Overall - good location, and if you want a clean place to stay. However if facilities and lobby can be improved, it will be more value for money.

The location of the hotel was very good, just a few minutes from Yuyuan Old Street. The staff especially at the breakfast buffet were very nice.
