Staffs were nice and helpful and the room was comfortable and well equipped. Loved the newly opened mall that has many restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk.

Perfect location if you’re attending conferences at NECC and taking the train to Beijing, Hengdian or other points in China as it is only about 15 minutes away from Shanghai Hongquiao Railway Station. The hotel is very clean; quiet and upscale neighborhood; walking distance from a shopping mall; good breakfast; KFC & other sitdown eats downstairs. Staff are amazing. If you’re checking in with someone other than family, you should check if your toilet has a door - both our rooms didn’t, luckily we were checking in with family. This was the only odd thing in this hotel.

Initially the room I got, the AC wasn't working well. After that, they changed me to another room on the same floor. The room was cleaned daily. That was good.

Loved my stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Hongqiao hotel. It’s close proximity to the metro station at NECC as well multiple market areas around its location was quite convenient for me as a first time traveler in China. The breakfast was delicious ranging from western cuisine to Asian/Chinese options. The rooms were clean, amenities like the gym and laundry also played a role in making my stay more comfortable…

There were no doors on the bathroom and no exhaust fan. Other than that the room was nice and the bed comfortable. Check in was very simple.

The hotel is reasonably clean, although the toilet was dirty. Urine stain around the toilet under the toilet seat. The rest of the room is clean, the bed is very nicely made and the mattress is good quality. There is no microwave, no fridge in the room considering it is a hotel in the outskirts of Shanghai and the there is very limited clean restaurants around. This is not a hotel I would recommend to anyone. The girls who work at the front desk don't seem to be happy, they never smiles.

No direct access to the hotel lobby by taxi, so get prepared if you bring a lot of stuffs. No English speaker staffs. New building, so all still clean and tidy.
