Check in was a bit awkward, the desk to obtain free parking was next to the check in desk. There was no one else checking in at the time, I figured our front desk lady could help complete the parking refund for us. That would save trouble. We had to go over to the desk, get a receipt, go back to the front desk then back to the parking desk again. Not smooth. Swimming pool facilities were not bad, sauna, gym all quite good.

Very satisfied with the check-in experience. The room has a good view and you can see the three-piece suit. The guest room facilities are equipped with iLLY coffee machines, wireless chargers, Dyson hair dryers, and electric toilets. This is better in new hotels and the rooms are smarter. The service is basically responsive and the service attitude is very good. Special thanks to William, Lucy and Ryan from the front office for their help. The breakfast variety is relatively rich and has local characteristics. The location is quite convenient, close to the subway, and parking at the hotel is free. Already looking forward to my next stay!

The check-in experience at Shanghai Oriental Muya Hotel was great. It truly considers tourists. First of all, when placing an order online, there are only double rooms. It is enough for a family to be crowded when checking in. The beautiful lady at the front desk is more enthusiastic and sees that we are a family of four. , fearing that we could not sleep four people in one bed, they took the initiative to upgrade us to a twin room. Thank you very much. Since we didn’t leave Shanghai by car until 8pm the next day, and the room had to be checked out at 2pm, we had to drag our luggage with us. We originally wanted to spend 50 yuan/hour to delay check-out until 6pm. Again, the beautiful lady at the front desk told us that we can store our luggage at the front desk for free after checking out in the morning, and we can come and pick it up after dinner in the afternoon. In addition, the breakfast here is relatively rich, including multigrain porridge, milk, orange juice, cola, coffee, soy milk, buns, steamed buns, fried rice, fried noodles, hand-rolled noodles, wonton bread, and everything you need, especially wontons. This Mercure is very good. It is very close to the Caobao Road subway station. You can walk to the hotel in 2 minutes after leaving the station. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and try their best to accommodate any requests. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is pretty good. You can eat it before 11 o'clock, which is very considerate for people who sleep in. The room is clean and hygienic, the shower water is big and the shower is very comfortable. The pillows are also very soft and I sleep very well. I highly recommend this hotel to those staying near South Station.
