The hotel is located just next to the Hongqiao International Airport. It’s great if you plan to have an early flight. The ambience of the hotel it’s vintage Chinese style, almost as if you are going back in time in Shanghai. As you enter there is a reception area and next to it there is a vintage camera and a carriage set with with traditional clothes. This just gives an idea of what to expect. The staff is very friendly although they don’t speak English and they upgraded our room for free. From there on, we went to our room which was on the 3rd floor and entering inside it’s like being in the olden times. Everything has exquisite gold touches and the ambience is very classic. The room was very clean and it also had a mini fridge. The view from our window was the hotel garden which is a great sight for sore eyes. We had the buffet breakfast and it was mostly Chinese breakfast but it was well prepared and food was really good. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.❤️

Really nice. The staff was very friendly and didn't treat me any differently than their chinese guests. A cool feature in the room was the blue leisure light. The breakfast was really good. If you want to go to places like Disney or the Bund, it's about 30-45 minutes by car. I personally didn't mind.

It was midnight when I checked in, but the guy at the front desk was still enthusiastic, thoughtful and energetic. He checked me in quickly and professionally, so I should go into the room early to rest! The air conditioner in the room was turned on in advance, and it was as warm as spring when entering. All the staff, from reception to room service attendants, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially when we were sick during our stay.
