We had booked several hotels with modern amenities along our trip to Yunnan hence we wanted to try something different, and we glad we chosen this hotel. The lady boss fetch us outside the ancient town as our van 9 seater unable to go in. Upon arrival, she served us local drink and snacks 酥油茶 , 青稞饼 and roasted walnut for free which is quite surprising and heartwarming. The lady boss even helped us to air-packed our snacks, which leaked during the journey. The hotel is Tibet theme , with Tibet architecture and interior. It comes with good facilities including floor heating system , bed warmer and dehumidifier, we can stay warm along the cold night. We also met 九月，a very calm and cute golden retrieval at the hotel. Location wise is quite strategic , within walking distance to 龟山公园，and many eateries nearby. And the lady boss offered us free ride to Shangri-la railway station after we checked out. Kudos to their great service and will definitely come back again if we visit Shangri-la in future!

The people from the hotel are very kind. They helped me receive a package. They also had great recommendations about the area. Nicely located just out of the old town. I would definitely return here if I visit again!

Great place, beautiful cosy room and very close to the old center. Very friendly people who are willing to help the inexperienced travelers. The bed is pretty firm. This is something that wasn’t a problem for us, but good to know if it’s not your taste.

A beautiful and peaceful setting with a warm and empathetic family who went above and beyond to help me. The room is incredibly spacious, featuring two seating areas, along with floor and bed warmers for added comfort.

This hotel is highly recommended. The hotel has everything, the rooms were nice and neat. There was a lot of gaming equipment there, and the owners were very nice , friendly, and kind to us. Will stay there definitely if I visit Shangri-la next time.

We love everything here, the room has the view of Dukezong Temple, oranges were delicious, the people is friendly and helpful, and the dog is calm and cute! I still remember they played the beautiful song one morning and I enjoyed it very much!

My stay at the hotel was very good, I was very well received, the hotel is rustic (all made of wood) with a very beautiful decoration. Jay took me to see the old city and was an excellent guide. I recommend!

FABULOUS STAY! The boss and family are super kind and very helpful. They helped us arrange a bike to enjoy the Napa lake and also took us to the airport. The room is BEAUTIFUL and the bathtub is super relaxing. Lots of hot water and really warm underfloor heating to keep you cosy in the winter. There is also a stunning view of the temple from bed. We first came in 2022 and now returned in 2024, hopefully we can come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a cosy guesthouse modified from traditional Tibetian home right at the edge of the ancient town. Good amenities, glossaries, eateries and attraction within minutes walk. Big room, warm floor, big windows. Our host was super friendly and helpful. Recomemded places and bring us around and we chill out drinking tea in the evenings. For our family from tropical country, the guesthouse itself is an attraction. Especially when the family experienced snow for the first time. The host got us a snow board and we played the whole morning with kids in the neighborhood and built an ugly snow man. The kids loved September, the golden retriever that so adorably helped us to bring the slade up the slope. We really loved the place, experiences and the people. Real, authentic and feels like old friend.

It's a pretty place inside Goseong. It's a place that maintains the form of an old building while providing good facilities. This place has floor heating!! There's also an electric blanket!! There's a bathtub!! There's a heater installed in the bathroom!! It wasn't cold at all! It's located about 5 minutes away from the city center, so it's quiet. The dog is really cute. :)

This Tibetan-style homestay is located in the ancient city, with convenient transportation and free parking. The rooms are spacious and bright, the beds are comfortable and warm, the rooms have floor heating and humidifiers, and there is a yard. It is very pleasant to drink tea and chat. The boss is very enthusiastic and familiar with the surrounding tourist attractions. If you don't have a guide, just ask him directly. It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. I will stay here again next time.

I rarely stay in B&Bs. This inn has a typical ******* style. I like it very much! The location is also very convenient for traveling, very close to the ancient city. The boss's service is also very attentive, all-round, and feels like home!

The decoration of the Tibetan-style room is basically the same as the picture (but the stove is for decoration and cannot be used), the facilities are relatively old, and the hygiene is average. The floor is dirty and the bathroom trash can contains garbage from before moving in. Half of the landscape outside the window is lawn, and the other half is decoration and decoration garbage. We were originally going to stay for five nights, but we wanted to check out right after we checked in because there was a strong smell of backwater from the sewers. The boss said that no one had mentioned this problem and that his nose was not sensitive, but we both smelled it. We smelled this smell all night long and made us want to vomit. Closing the toilet door is useless because there is a sink and bathtub connected to the sewer in the room. The boss gave us a refund for the remaining four nights, but we couldn't refund the first night. We were woken up by the sound of renovations at 7:30 the next day. When I went out to take a look, it turned out that the building next door was also being renovated. We fled the room quickly.
