When making your booking here, just stick to the standard rooms, the more premium selections don’t bring a whole lot new to the table. The rooms are very modern with all the essential charging ports conveniently located. The bathroom is huge and tub is deep; they could include bath salts in the executive room. Avoid making the booking with the “afternoon tea set” selection was very limited to the point that nobody went. I would rather have a fruit platter sent to my room. The location itself is close to Nanshan station, where the area is more residential than commercial. However taking 1-2 stations along lines 11 or 12 should solve your problems.

The location of the hotel is very good. There are many group stores in Fox Plaza downstairs, and there are also many small shops outside the shopping mall to choose from. The room is very spacious, and the kitchenette is very complete with kitchen utensils, ranging from stoves and pots to tableware and utensils. You can actually buy ingredients for the stove. I want to sincerely thank all of the staff at Ayearn for making my girlfriend's 25th birthday extra special! Apart from the excellent customer service, smooth check-in process (they understand foreigners' 粤康码 situation), and wonderful environment, this hotel hosts something even more special: its staff's ability to go above and beyond for its guests. When I checked in, I informed the receptionist that this stay was in fact a surprise for my girlfriend's 25th birthday. They asked if I wanted them to decorate the room with their standard decorations and I said yes. We then coordinated over WeChat to find the perfect time to decorate the room during our stay. But there was something else up my sleeve: I had bought some rose petals from a flower shop and asked if they could spread these on the bed and put a gift I prepared on it as well. They agreed and the arrangement was set. Now, before you look at the photos, keep in mind that all I told the hotel staff was to put the rose petals and the gift on the bed. I expected that they would make it look nice, but I didn't know they would go above and beyond they way they did. The photos speak for themselves! Take a look, they spent the extra time to make everything look extra nice and decided where to place the rose petals in the best places. I am very proud of their work and am really glad I chose this hotel for my girlfriend's birthday! Needless to say, my girlfriend was very happy with all of this and I am forever thankful to you all for giving us a wonderful memory. PS: If you intend on doing something similar for your significant other, please purchase and supply the hotel with the rose petals that you want. This is not something they do normally but they can accommodate your request. The other decorations (such as the happy birthday banner, chicks, etc. are all part of their standwrd decoration package). Also please give the hotel ample time to do the job properly, I promise you won't be disappointed! Thank you again to all the staff at Ayearn!!!

Hotel was well located right next to the metro although it is a little far from the attractions. The receptionist spoke English and check-in was quick although the hotel did not accept payment with foreign cards. You need to have Alipay or WeChat pay on your phone or pay cash or have a Chinese card. Our room smelt of smoke but they changed it without any problem. The bed in our room was a little hard. Breakfast was very nice if you like Chinese cuisine. We liked the spa: massage was very good and well priced. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Service was very good but unfortunately the room space/configuration and cleanliness was a bit disappointing. Checked-in late in the evening but my room just got cleaned-up and my room door was grand opened when I arrived in the floor and the room totally wet as just washed with large amount of water… not a single dry spot in the rim to drop my luggage and actually walking-in in such condition made the room very dirty. Also the room is extremely small with almost no space to open luggage and very tight space between the bed and the walls. Also the room didn’t have a single table expect the amenity table which already packed with boiler cups and other thing so no space to put any thing else and no chair or desk to sit and work inside the room
