"In circumstances. This hotel is excellent for breakfast and cost-effective enough to stay for another day in a row. There was no food nearby than I thought, so it was a little rough."
"The room is good, you can overlook the Guanmen Strait Bridge (part of it), close to the entrance and exit of the Guanmen Strait Tunnel, it is more convenient to go to the closed department. There is a hot spring bath, relieve fatigue, and the staff is warm and thoughtful. Breakfast is rich and delicious, and there is free beer ice cream 🍺🍦"
"Although the design of the hotel is relatively simple and old, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a bus nearby to go to Karato Market the next day👍🏻I appreciate the friendly attitude of the front counter staff, who also tried their best to communicate with us in English and a translator. Thank you for your hospitality😊"

"It was on the top floor, the fifth floor, and the view from the window was of Shimonoseki city and the sea. It was a single room, but it was quite spacious (probably it used to be a twin room) and the interior had a somewhat Showa-era feel to it. However, the bathroom had been renovated and was a beautiful unit bath. There was a humidifier, so I used it. It was a shame that there was no outlet for the refrigerator. I think it was worth the price."
This hotel is located 5-minute walk from Shimonoseki Station and 5-minute walk from Shimonoseki Port International Terminal. You may enjoy the hotel as a group or with your family.
The old Japanese house retains its Japanese character. The kitchen, restroom and bathroom have all been renovated. UKIYO-E fusuma paper is used in each room, and OBI (sashes) are placed for interior decoration. Up to 6 people are able to stay at the same rate, and up to 12 people can stay at this hotel.
"Ichinomata Onsen Grand Hotel offers a serene and rejuvenating experience. Set in a beautiful location, it features traditional Japanese architecture and onsen (hot spring) facilities that provide a perfect way to relax. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, often with stunning views of the surrounding nature. Guests can enjoy delicious local cuisine, and the staff is known for their warm hospitality. It's an excellent choice for those looking to unwind and immerse themselves in Japanese culture. Whether you're traveling for leisure or a romantic getaway, Ichinomata Onsen Grand Hotel is a wonderful destination!"
"Check in when the middle-aged man can not speak Chinese or English. After checking out, our family of three left their luggage and went out to play. When we came back to pick up the luggage, because there was a job to deal with. After obtaining the permission of the young female staff at the front desk, our family of three drank a few drinks in the hotel. I worked in the hotel restaurant in the reception area for less than 20 minutes. The middle-aged male front desk of the hotel came with a translator and said that it was not allowed to stay at the hotel after check-out and had to leave. I took the child and didn't say much. The Japanese next to me can sit in the restaurant, so can't we? The experience is very poor and not recommended. Next to it is domny inn. If you fancy the location, you can choose dommy inn."
"Location is convenient, 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station - through the footbridge or the underpass (footbridge recommended if you are carrying with you large pieces of luggage as elevators are available). Room setting is great - I especially liked the couch area. Cleanliness was acceptable, but could have been even better. Coin laundry machines at the hotel are among the best I've tried - the passcode lock feature of the machines prevents your clothing items from being mistakenly taken by others."
GGuest UserValue for money. Highly recommended. Will stay again.
The room is large for us to open and pack our luggage in preparing to depart airport the next day.
The room facilities are convenient (without stairs) to suit my usage as a person with walking difficulties.
I especially love the ensuite onsen bath with beautiful ocean view.
The dinner and breakfast are delicious.
YYifan63I booked a small double room at Domi Shimonoseki more than three months in advance on Ctrip.com for one person. The hotel is very close to Shimonoseki Station. The transportation is also convenient. The room is clean. It is just right for one person, but a bit crowded for two people. Free ramen is served from 9:30 pm and is very delicious. Coffee and tea are served in the lobby. When I booked on Ctrip.com, the room was more than 400 yuan per room. When I checked online a week before the hotel, I found that it had risen to more than 700 yuan per room. I made a lot of money.
MMakmur TanudjajaThough struggling in English translation, staff were very helpful in giving directions to surrounding areas. Upon departing from hotel in the early morning, one of the male staff even checking for us the connecting train, they even prepared the breakfast especially for us to eat before leaving hotel. Very touching and grateful to them. Thank you. Arigato gozaimatsu.
GGuest UserSmile Hotel Shimonoseki is right next to the JR station. Walk to the right and follow the station for two minutes. The JR station building is also the Daimaru Shopping Center. From the basement to the fourth floor are shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. Buses 1 to 4 go to Karato Market. The seafood restaurants in Karato Market sell cheap salmon sashimi. Shimonoseki is a historic place and worth a visit.
GGuest UserThank you. For this price, they provide breakfast and have a sauna for men only. The location is good and the service is friendly. I like it. I will go again next time.
KKennyctcClose to the station, convenient transportation, supermarkets, large shopping malls, food centers nearby, cheap hotel breakfast, microwave oven at the elevator entrance for guests to reheat
, I will stay in this hotel again next time.
GGuest UserThis hotel has a great location. From the rooms, lobby, and restaurant, you can see the ocean, Tsunoshima Island, and Tsunoshima Bridge, and the views are amazing. We were also able to take a walk on the beach right in front of the hotel. We were very satisfied with the delicious buffet, which had a wide variety of options for both dinner and breakfast.
The large public bath was amazing, with an open-air bath where you could watch the sunset.
In the evening, we were taken on a night tour of Tsunoshima Island in a minibus. (Free of charge)
Next time, we would like to go swimming in the sea in the summer.
GGuest UserThe front desk is very polite, the same as the domestic homestay, there is a pool for bathing, not bad, far from the beach, the water in the room is small, the Japanese-style, bigger, this Japanese-style room is OK
Rryuchi sakamotoThe hotel is located close to JR Shimonoseki Station. There is free parking at the hotel. You can drive directly to the parking lot and ask the staff for a parking card when you check in. Because of the surrounding shops, the hotel's location is more suitable for business travelers and is not recommended for family purposes.
