The hotel was nice, but nothing too special. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were a little too flat for my liking. Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room, which would have been a nice addition.

I liked it a lot.

I was expecting the single room in Europe to be quite small, but it was surprisingly spacious and deep. It was also very clean. There are three things to note: First, the amenities are sparse. You only get one thin plastic cup and hand soap! There are no slippers, toothbrushes, or shampoo, so you'll need to bring your own. There's no complimentary water either. While there was a coffee machine at reception, it was pay-per-use. Second, the in-room Wi-Fi was very difficult to connect to. I thought I was connected to the Wi-Fi and was browsing online, only to discover later that I was using data roaming, which was a surprise. Even when it did connect, the signal was usually only one bar. This might vary depending on the room. Third, the location. It's a good location as you can walk to the Brussels city center. However, the nearest station, Nord, which is about a 10-minute walk, felt a bit intimidating to walk through alone, even around 6 PM. Keeping these three points in mind, it's a good hotel if you can find a cheap plan!

The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around. Service was efficient throughout my stay, and the facilities are in good working order. Overall, it is a reliable and straightforward place to stay if you prioritize a central position

Great stay at Hotel Villa Royale. Not too far away from city center, few minutes walk.

The hotel room itself was very clean upon arrival and maid service was fantastic. The room was basic but met all of our needs. The bed was very comfy and extra pillows were supplied. The bathroom came equipped with a hairdryer and clean towels supplied every day. The shower head was broken and the design is slightly flawed, which meant the bathroom floor flooded upon use. This was perhaps only specific to our room. The location is central. It is a 20/30 minute walk to the grand palace. There is a tram stop right outside and a metro station 5 minute walk away. There are also 2 convenience stores on the street to buy drink and food from. Overall, this hotel was reliable and comfortable. I would definitely book again in the future.

Staff are friendly, welcoming, and willing to solve your problem. I like my room having the balcony.

Overall, it is a good place to stay. However, if you are coming from the bus station and carrying heavy luggage, I would recommend getting a taxi.

This is our third time staying at this hotel. Excellent location, very friendly and welcoming staff, spotless room, nothing to complain about, the bed is super big and comfortable, as is the room space.
