"Just outside of Siquijor town, good location to get around to most of the island. We hired a moped through accommodation and they also helped us book a taxi back to the port on our last day.
Room was nice and bed extremely comfy."
"It's the third time I've stayed here, conveniently located a few kilometres from Siquijor, Dumanhog is nice and quiet overnight, the staff are friendly and all speak English if you can't speak Bisaya or Tagalog,we like it because of it central location to our friends and family on the island, if you need help to hire a motorcycle or get a taxi the staff will be able to help you,we had a great stay and intend to be back again."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great and really attentive. The location is decent for access to ferries but you’ll need to rent a bike to get around the island. The place rents well maintained bikes so that is really helpful. There is also a reasonably priced tuk tuk service on site. The room itself was a good size and comfortable with a nice balcony. The hotel is ten mins drive to the next town over which has a lot going on so it was nice to go there for food and drink but also appreciated the quietness of returning to la familia. They had a drinks fridge too which was useful for a beer in the foyer at night and there are a couple of places nearby for breakfast and dinner. For the price this place is very good!"
"A very, very satisfying hotel, even better than a five-star hotel. The hotel has a very beautiful view on the mountain. It feels like a private villa. There are only 7 rooms in the whole resort, so there are very few people staying. It is very quiet and you can fully enjoy the hotel facilities. The only downside is that the room rate does not include breakfast and the breakfast is a bit expensive, which is about the same as the main meal. But the overall experience is very good. You can also see the big stars of Xidao Island at night. Highly recommended to stay"

Amazing
JJay GeeeThis is the best resort that makes you fall in love with Siquijor. I think it was enough compensation for the ferry ride that took almost 3 hours.
First of all, the accommodation consists of 5~6 private villas on two floors. Each floor has a queen-sized bed, so up to 4 people can stay. The furniture in the rooms and the bathroom are well-prepared in many ways. One thing that is disappointing is that there is no hair dryer.
The biggest advantage of this place is probably the restaurant with the best view. The breakfast and the regular meal menu were all delicious, and the price was reasonable. Above all, all the staff were really friendly. Despite my limited English skills, they understood me and welcomed me, so I didn't feel burdened at all.
One tip: they don't accept cards or dollars, and only accept pesos. I was really embarrassed because they said the nearest currency exchange office was near the port (500 pesos one way by tuk-tuk). The owner happened to have something to do in the city, so I was able to solve the problem thanks to them exchanging money for me. Thank you for everyone!
AAnonymous UserI am a budget traveler but really tried staying at Coco Grove for the experience and it did not disappoint. Worth every penny, the food was so so so good, the staff were kind and approachable, amenities are the best most especially the complimentary snorkel at Tubod Marine Sanctuary, and the facility as a whole is soo beautiful. Will definitely comeback.

GGValHad a great time at this resort. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Food is delicious. Near many bars and restaurants. They will also help book tours for you.
RRené-MarcThis is our second stay at this hotel, and little story, I booked the wrong day, the crew said “don’t worry” and right away helped us figuring something out.
The staffs went above and beyond, top of that they are super friendly.
The location is perfect, right by the sea, and in a reservation area that close at night and open in the morning. Which means absolutely no noise. The food is good and freshly cooked.
We will definitely return for a r3rd times asap.

EEmily Rose LWe want to thank the owner Gri and staff at this lovely hotel! The warmth and welcome we felt was phenomenal, as well as the service. The highlight of the stay was the gorgeous pool and view. We loved beginning and ending each day with a dip and hearing the waves crash as we fell asleep. Magical! The flowers and trees on the property are stunning and the rooms are comfortable and reasonably appointed. The beds are firm by western standards but being that we are Americans who live in China, we love this for our backs!
We ate breakfast every morning and one of our dinners in the hotel restaurant and it is very high quality, tasty food. I especially loved the organic spinach and homemade dumplings, as well as the mapo tofu- YUM! The fresh fruit each day was crisp and delicious and I LOVED drinking coconuts by the pool. Thank you, Cherry! Coffee is for purchase at the restaurant, not in the rooms.
The location of the hotel is quite remote, meaning it is peaceful and quiet. I recommend you arrange transportation for excursions in advance each day, or rent a scooter, as waiting for a tricycle can be long. We were told that you can swim and snorkel in front of the hotel but the tide was too low when we tried one day. However, there are snorkels and kayaks for use in the hotel!
The hotel is still developing some of the water activities available. The pool is deep enough for diving courses, but check to make sure they are ready, as the gear is still in order as of Oct 2023. There are snorkel and dive spots a short ride away, however, and you can ask for help at the desk to book a tour or connect with a dive shop.
GGuest UserI had the best time staying at mad monkey siquijor. Nelson was amazing and took the time to know everyone's name and treated everyone like a true friend. Definitely give this man a raise! He was a whole vibe! The facilities are cleaned daily and all of the staff is helpful making recommendations or helping to arrange transport. Rooms were very spacious with hot water, AC, and privacy curtains. Highly recommend if you're on the island. Shout out to Pablo the accountant too he and all of the staff make this place so special! Thanks again for everything!
LLiushangyanWe will come to Siquijor Island again. Here we are away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We can quietly feel everything that nature has given us. The private beach, swimming pool and sea in the hotel are so warm. The boss is actually Chinese. We drank tea and chatted with him. He shared with us the comfortable life on Siquijor Island. The boss is very generous. A man from Northeast China treated me to dumplings with garlic. That long-lost taste of my hometown! The lady boss was very pretty and enthusiastic. She helped me change pesos (we didn't have enough cash with us). The exchange rate was 7.8, which was the highest in the past 10 days! In the evening, we were recommended the route and attractions for the second day's island tour. They called a tutu car for us on the second day's island tour for 1,400 pesos from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The driver was very nice and enthusiastic along the way. Every time we arrived at a scenic spot, we were given a different surprise. Siquijor Island is really a treasure island that you must visit once. It was a wonderful journey...
