Sirmione Hotels with Breakfast

I will be very happy to return every time I need cocktails and relax! Excellent services, excellent kitchen, comfortable rooms.

Everything was just excellent -staff support with multiple items- booked with hotel reception the transfer from Verona, ordering procedures in the hotel spa, order with hotel discount aquaria. I requested a room with a bath tub, and they recommended me a different room, even chipper, they replaced my booking to a suitable one. They have an amazing breakfast. Hotel location was just excellent- in a most beautiful place with lake view, close to Aquaria. On a piazza close to hotel there were multiple performances- like opera singing, etc. Hotel spa was just perfect. Some things to know before booking- they dont have a tea kettle in their rooms- so I took some mine traveler kettle.

Look no further, because this boutique hotel is excellent. Its location is unbeatable (400 m way from Scaliger Castle) and the private beach is such a welcome feature. The hotel’s interiors and grounds are both manicured and beautiful. Rooms are super clean and spacious (we stayed in junior suite with a lake front). Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The views of the Lake Garda are so therapeutic. They would nurture your soul, while the thermal water pool (temp. 27 C) would rejuvenate your body. Add a 7-day Spa treatment into the mix, as we did, and you would be one relaxed and happy person. Service is top-notch. Nothing is a problem or a bother for the hotel’s personnel. Gloria, Francesca, Sofia, Gerardo and Alessandro, to name but a few, would resolve any of your requests/concerns with a genuine appreciation that you are on vacation and there to relax. Speaking of relaxation - this is an adult-only hotel. Patrons are sophisticated, private and pleasant. In short, this hotel, its staff and their hospitality may “ruin” other hotels for you. We liked everything about this lovely hotel and, undoubtedly, will be back. Thank you for having us Ocelle!

Have visited twice. Once in May before COVID and in late August this year. The first time I visited it was clear there was something different about this hotel; Set in the most idyllic spot (of one of the busiest and popular Italian locations), they have managed to keep a personalised, family-feel to how they operate and they are 110% committed to customer service. Particular thanks to Nataly, Robert and Omar this year....all the other team members (too many names to remember - sorry). The rooms are modern and clean, the breakfast is amazing. Free tea (with pastries) is offered late afternoon. Whilst they don't have their own restaurant, the building is attached to a very good restaurant and there is no lack of places to eat. The staff will in fact give great advice on where to eat, what time is best etc.

Lovely hotel just outside the centre of Sirmione. Pretty hairy drive through very narrow streets full of people but an oasis once you get there. The rooms are old school comfortable with great air conditioning . The pool area is lovely and the staff very attentive. The jetty isn’t as nice but only because the lake is quite difficult to get into and the water shallow and slightly silty. We had a couple of good meals in the town which is a 5 minute walk through the hotel gardens. Overall a great stay …

The hotel is close to the lake but not on it so our room didn’t have a view of the lake and we were happy with that as we spend most of our time out and about. Rooms are very clean, minimal but nice and beds are comfortable. Lovely en-suite with small toiletries. The room has a fridge but ours was so loud it kept us awake for most of the first night so turned it off ( but didn’t really use it anyway) free wifi, didn’t watch tv so couldn’t say about what channels there were. Was pleasantly surprised with the room ✅ The staff are so helpful and friendly all speak a little English far better (and to my shame) than our Italian. They all seemed to work so hard / lots of hours yet were still smiling. Now the best bit, if you are gluten free you have to stay here!!! Almost everything on the menu in the restaurant to the breakfast in the morning is gluten free!!! I could have waffles, crepes, muffins etc for breakfast ( not the pastries though but I was so astounded by the choice I didn’t care) The restaurant in the evening was busy from hotel guests but also people coming in to dine so reservations would be recommended. Again if you are gluten free you have so much choice, pizza pasta including ravioli and also other dishes too and all their desserts are gluten free. I had a gluten free puff pastry which I’ve not come across before so that was a treat. Beside being fantastic on the gluten free front, if you are a regular gluten eater the food is excellent and worth eating there. Prices are not expensive but reasonable for a tourist place and hotel. We went in Feb 2024 for reference for your own trip. Enjoy, we did!!

The external environment and geographical location of the hotel are excellent, in a prime location in the scenic area. The service is also very European and great. The restaurant breakfast is also good. However, the price-performance ratio of the lowest-priced room type is really not good. The rooms are small, the facilities are old, and they don't even provide free purified water. If you are a person who has requirements for the room conditions, don't choose a low-priced room type. I feel that it is really not worth the price. Of course, the selling point and the price may be reflected in his environment, service and geographic value.

We chose the Hotel Porto Azzurro in Sirmione because of its very nice pool and grounds and closeness to the Lago di Garda. The weather was unusually cold so we didn't use the pool but did enjoy a delicious dinner at a restaurant on the Lago, a short walk from the hotel. A special feature of our room was the large patio that we shared with our son's family in the room next door. The buffet breakfast was also the BEST that I have every had in any of the many hotels that we have stayed at over the years. [NOTE: I mistakenly wrote a review of the Hotel Europa in Sirmione that actually applies to the Hotel Porto Azzurro. We had stayed at a Hotel Europa in another city, so I confused the name].

We came into Garda by taxi from Lake Maggiore. Stayed at Hotel Vinci, one of the many fine places that dot the lake front. Vinci too had a beautiful view of the lake from the room. Small rooms but you can upgrade to a bigger room at not much more. The upgraded room had a bigger balcony with nice sit out and a Jacuzzi to boot! The regular room too had a smaller balcony with relaxing chairs to lounge and enjoy the view and sip a drink. Garda has limited attractions to spend time going to so it is pretty much a place to chill. Like other Lakes area (Como, Maggiore), a boat ride to nearby places is the main outing that one can do. We took a private boat to go do the port hopping's and it was fun. A bit more expensive but good fun if you are 4 or more people as the cost gets spread out. Garda is the largest lake among the three here (Como and Maggiore being the other two). It is huge. Like in the other lakes, the shoreline is dotted with very pretty houses and villas and it is a treat to see them as you pass by. I don't know if one can dive into the waters but in Summer you probably can and that may be wonderful. Lake areas of Italy are a totally different set up and one should come here to relax, eat and dine and just enjoy life. You are away from the bustle of a city and it is the idyllic place for honeymooners too. Not much to pick between the three. Just choose a good hotel with a view and chill.
