RRainbowheartFull marks for Ctrip’s service and full marks for Magama Hotel’s scenery, but you can’t add an extra bed to your child, nor can you pay extra. The hotel uses solar hot water for bathing, and the floor heating and hot water in each room rely on a separate hot water machine, so After the big one and the little one finished taking a bath, I could only take a cold shower. Why is this important factor not written in the hotel introduction? Hot water for bathing is in limited supply!

GGuest UserIt is Perfect hotel for traveller who are on road bewteen Reykjavik & Vik, even if going to Skatafell.
It is located on calm and peaceful position and gave me very comfortable mood who are tired.
More amazing is,
their good restrarurant.!!!!!
In the morning, serve free breakfast. It is already good.
But in the evening, you can enjoy fastastic buffet with acceptable price.
And they gave me very kind service with real smile.
There are small road to reach lake by 5~10 min walking.
When I walked, a lovely dog from hotel follows me and to try excising with him.
It also one of very happy expereince.
Lake sightseeing is also very good.
If someone asks me to stay again,
”Sure. Absolutely.”

格格The room is not big and the induction cooker is slow. It is an old wooden house. There is an electric heater to heat the hot water for bathing. There will be insufficient hot water. It is fine to stay for one night temporarily. It is not recommended as a hotel to enjoy the journey.

GGuest UserWe only crashed there a night before heading to Skaftafell. They helped us with packed breakfast as we checked out earlier than the breakfast time (this was requested during the booking and they accommodated it). We also did a late check in which again was requested at the time of booking.
