The hotel is decorated in alpine style, and located conveniently along the main roads. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nice, and have everything you need. The diner and breakfast were very good. Wellness area is nice. Good place to stay when you want to spend some time in the alps.

We spent our Easter this year at the hotel. We are very pleased with what the hotel offered us - even great food, hospitality and everyday service, with particular emphasis on the very nice a**osphere thanks to Mr. Maros Meszearos, who served us during every meal - thanks to such people and their commi**ent, we felt at home. The hotel gives you the opportunity to spend time after skiing in the relaxation area. It's a great idea to have soup and salads as well as cakes right after skiing and before dinner. As I mentioned the food is excellent, the dinners are a great way to celebrate the whole day! We will certainly come back to you!!!

1. We bought a voucher for 230€ for 2 nights including breakfast. There was only a voucher for 80€, whereby the meal cost 45€ per person. So we had to pay 100€ for this. An additional night cost €200 and was almost twice as expensive as the voucher for 2 nights including breakfast. 2. No prices for the drinks were given on the menu list for the evening - 1/4 liter of wine then cost 12€! 3. Does the hotel charge €5 for the bathrobe - justification: it has to be washed!? What about the towels and sheets? 4. It was a theme day and there was Prosecco - there were no eggs for that! Who wants alcohol in the morning?! 5. The price for half board is too high (45€/person) and then there is a 7€ surcharge for the season ticket. 6. To fill up our hybrid we had to pay 10€. You need a maximum of 6kWh for this and it costs €1.80 from us! 7. Hannah was a very capable waitress and did a great job. Conclusion: the prices are not apparent and excessive for the location right on the main street.

Very good service and very friendly and helpful staff, large, clean rooms, comfortable beds, extensive breakfast buffet. We had half board and the food was excellent. We can unreservedly recommend it. Great ski room. Great location (800m to the Riffelseebahn) and bus stop right in front of the hotel door.

Eigentlich haben wir in einer nahegelegenen Pension Alpin übernachtet. Da ich mit den Kids allein unterwegs war, habe ich Halbpension dazu gebucht. Das Abendessen gab es dann im Hotel Gundolf. Und das war kulinarisch wirklich ein Lichtblick. Das Abendessen war außergewöhnlich gut. Man merkt dem Laden an, dass er mit Liebe und von den Inhabern selbst geführt wird. Man hat richtig viel investiert und die Küche ist wirklich formidabel. An einem Abend hat die Inhaberin uns sogar etwas auf einer Pedalharfe vorgespielt. Das war einmalig und sehr nahbar. Das kann man nur weiter empfehlen. Ein tolles Hotel.

Wir haben einen Wanderurlaub im Pitztal geplant und fanden mit dem Hotel Gundolf die perfekte Location. Gleich bei Ankunft wurde uns die Pitztal-Card überreicht mit der wir alle Öffies und alle Bergbahnen im ganzen Tal kostenlos nutzen konnten. Das Hotel Gundolf befindet sich in Tieflehn, 2 Weiler unterhalb des Talendes. In weniger als 10 Minuten Fußmarsch ist man an der Rifflseebahn, in ca 20 Min an der Gletscherbahn und viele andere Touren kann man direkt beim Hotel starten, wir haben unser Auto während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht einmal bewegt. Die Einrichtung unseres Zimmers, vom Typ Europa, war zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit ca. 30m2 ausreichend groß und genügend Stauraum für alle Reiseutensilien war vorhanden. Es war immer top sauber und vom Aufzug bis zum Föhn war alles da. Das Frühstück gab es in Büffetform mit allem was das Herz begehrt. An manchen Tagen gab es einen Prosecco oder ein frisch zubereitetes Omelette. Am Nachmittag konnte man sich eine „Jause“ holen, die aus Kuchen, verschiedenen Salaten oder Suppe bestand und abends gab es 5 köstliche Gänge immer dargereicht von einem super freundlichen und herzlichen Service-Team. Vielen Dank an ALLE , wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!!
