"The location was really good
The traffic was so convenient and good because it was right in front of the museum
The unfortunate thing is that the room is not cleaned properly.
There was a food in the drawer that someone had eaten, so I told the counter, and nothing was done."
"Clean and spacious apartment. Comfy bed and good kitchen facilities. Good location and easy check in process"

"Serviced apartment, you can cook your own breakfast, the set is 2 rooms, 1 living room, 2 sanitation can sleep 4 people, the location does not say, in the South Bank (attractions) is very convenient, there is parking! The only regret is that the dryer in our room is broken, everything else is good! Every time I come to Bucun, I look for an apartment. It feels like home and convenient."
"Great location, lovely apartment with all amenities. There was even an Opera Apartments Netflix account available to use which was a nice touch. Lovely sunset from the balcony."
"The place smelt bad, the bathrooms and kitchens are very outdated, we had a massive and loud evacuation alarm go off and we we’re told by a staff member to stay in our room but we looked out the balcony and realised everyone had been evacuated apart from us and a fire truck was there. no staff at the office ever. just overall a very weird place with weird vibes. bad parking too"

Great
KKate H-EWe absolutely adored our stay here! Amazing location - right by the train station and the ferry port and southbank is such a great spot with the bars, restaurants and beach by the river. The hotel was stunning with beautiful rooftop pool and decor throughout our room and main areas. We were just sad it was only 1 night! We didn’t want to leave. All the staff were amazing and food and drinks were delicious!
HhktreasureThe lady in the reception is a bit rude when I arrived and about to check in. She just said “name?” instead of “may I have your ID please?” as usual in other hotel or apartment, which make me not able to react right away
The carpet in the room got stink and I guess there is a water leakage, which extend to the bedroom, I don't believe they didn't check it and let people to stay in
Lucky they refund me 2 nights of stay because I need to leave earlier to avoid the cyclone, which is only the good point for this apartment.
I might stay here again but will ask for the room change if there is stink on carpet again
CCoco Zhengthe hotel service is the best. As soon as we walked inside they gave us two glasses of champagne and a bottle of red wine. Rooms were clean and location is excellent.
GGuest UserThis hotel has a very convenient location, the rooms are very spacious and clean, with a view overlooking the lush green park, which is extremely comfortable.
JJia Li EuniceThe standout feature was definitely the location – it’s incredibly convenient, situated just a short walk from South Bank, the Convention Centre, and a great selection of cafes, restaurants, and public transport options. It made exploring the city so easy.
The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated having a kitchenette and laundry facilities available.
While the decor was a little dated in parts, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort and functionality of the space. If you’re looking for a well-located and practical place to stay in Brisbane, The Capitol Apartments is a solid choice.
GGuest UserThe team at the front desk were amazing and truly the only highlight of my stay—they were helpful and accommodating throughout.
Unfortunately, both rooms I was placed in had significant mould issues. The first room had visible mould throughout the unit, and while the second room was slightly better, it still smelled strongly of mould and had noticeable mould spots.
As this is not a budget hotel, I expected better care and maintenance to ensure the rooms were up to standard. The mould not only made my stay uncomfortable, as I was continually breathing it in, but it also made me hesitant to use the kitchen facilities, with items like the cutting board visibly affected by mould.
Overall, I feel like I wasted my money as the mould issues made the stay far from worth the price I paid. It’s disappointing as the front desk staff did their best, but the condition of the rooms fell far short of expectations.
WWilsonChinThe location is good, just a short walk to city, to train station, to local store.
Staff are very nice, I have especially happy that they were trying their best to let us checking in early since our long flight arrived in the morning.
There were enough home appliances. We cooked quite a few times and it was great. Washing machine is fine. The roof top swimming pool looks good.
However, I think the place could be a little cleaner, especially the shower area. There are some mould on the wall and the shower head. Door handle is broken. On the other hand, there are quite some dust on the table, floor is a little bit sticky. The air conditioner is mouldy too, bed sheet has some stains, some of the pillow cases are a bit grey like the colour of dust.
So in general I think a lot could be improved, especially on hygiene.
JJmuljaThe apartment is nice, spacious room, complete amenities, but you need to request to reception for the cleaning service. Good location, near city center, museum, train station, and we can cook at the unit. The kitchen was amazing, so if u like to cook, this hotel apartment would be the beat option to stay.
GGLGLThe hotel is between South Brisbane Station and South Bank Station, and within walking distance to the South Bank Parklands. There are a number of restaurants around but seems mostly for dinner and drinks. Other than that, there are no shopping malls or nearby supermarkets except at South Bank Station and two convenience stores selling mostly snacks. There was no early check-in, and upon check-in the bed was obviously slept in before and a call to guest services brought the housekeeper who kindly changed the bedsheets, blanket and pillow covers. However the body cleanser ran out within the day and was not topped up during the next day's housekeeping and hair was not really cleaned up. Hotel breakfast at the ground floor restaurant is on ordering basis and not buffet style.
