I have to thank all the staff for Monday night, unfortunately we didn’t know that they didn’t serve food on a Monday nights but they came up trumps not only doing a quick menu but cooking us food, this was way one of the best service I have had and I would like to thank them, not only y for the food but the plaster for my cut on my hand first rate serve and the food was good as well. Again we cannot thank you enough for the service and for making us feel welcome

Nice atmosphere,friendly staff. Good selection of ales and food very good quality. Only criticism was that our table was more in the drinking area than the restaurant so had noisy drinkers around us and my friends steak was rather tough but the waitress reduced price by £15 which was ok. Would go back.

cob webs on ceiling, carpet not exactly been hovered, for price we paid value was bottom of the list. there was a fight in next street & whoever came worse off came to this pub, bled over outside chair & on floor, when we left 2 days later blood still not cleaned off
