"Brilliant hotel, fabulous service, staff are kind, polite and attentive. Breakfast quality needs improving, however the accommodation experience was superb."
"The room looks at the yacht port. It is recommended to open a room that can see the Atlantic side. The scenery is good. You have to tell the front desk.
In the early morning, there was a motorcycle blasting street, the bar downstairs was noisy, and I was prepared. Breakfast was on the sixth floor. You can see a good view. The small town of Southampton is not seen. It is not recommended to stay in this city. It is recommended to live in Portsmouth next door."

"Let me tell you the truth, in terms of guest house standards, the elevator can only take one person at a time. The waiter suggested that I use the elevator. I went in, but there was an iron fence about to be closed. I was scared to death and ran out quickly."
"Breakfast is average, because of pick-up, the hotel arranges people to wait for me to check in in the middle of the night, it can be said that it is very intimate"
"Tissue in the toilet when I got there ,staff was very unprofessional during check in asking for late check-in fee even after I explained I called the place and the call went unanswered to tell I would be arriving late."
"The check in process was very easy, just took us some time to find the place because we thought it is separated from the pub but the reception is actually right in it so just walk straight in! Room was very cozy and equipped, very thoughtful to provide us with all the basic amenities plus additional items such as water, beer, milk, chocolate, coffee for coffee machine and even a postcard! Staff was really friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was also really amazing - you get to choose a main and a drink from their breakfast menu on top of a mini buffet spread that offered some really good pastries, salamis, cheese and more, so be sure to leave some extra time in the morning to enjoy it!
However, there was a club opposite the place that was opened slightly pass midnight when we were there and if you're a light sleeper be sure to pack some ear plugs to go to sleep early. One of the corners of the wall also had a slight mold issue because the condensation from the bathroom must have caused that in the long run but it shouldn't be a huge concern though it will be nice if that gets fixed!"
"This hotel was really a pleasant surprise: I wasn’t expecting this given the name of this place. They only had a basic reception setup, but the meals were great and the attention to the finer details in the room and the space was impressive. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I’d be happy to stay there again."

Very Good
AAnonymous UserVery nice hotel and clean. The room decoration is very nice and the room is spacious. They got us a free upgrade which was amazing.
AAnonymous UserBooked this hotel as a birthday treat for myself, did mention in the notes that the stay was for my birthday and was greeted with a bottle of wine chocolates and a birthday card from the hotel and a stay in a really lovely room made my day.
SsharonWe stayed overnight before going on a Cruise, walking distance into town and Cruise Port but would use a taxi go drop off cases. We drove to cruise terminal, dropped our luggage and parked our car in Multi storey car park in West Quays for £6 night. We stayed in a family room with 3 adults and a child. My daighter and granddaughter used spa facilifies and it was very good. Didn't eat at hotel so can't comment. McD's is in car park as well as anothef food place. Shops couple mins walk if you forget anything, Boots, Matalan, Poundland as well as others, would stay again
AAnonymous UserThis is probably one of the best hotels in the area. As it is newly built, the facilities are relatively new. The breakfast is quite rich by British standards. Although the location is not in the city center, parking is convenient. It is really good by local standards. It is just so-so by world standards. The attitude of the service staff is mixed, some are very enthusiastic, and some are very indifferent.
PPik Kwan LauraThe hotel is in a good location, close to the cruise terminal and shopping malls, so it is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The hotel service is also very considerate and the staff are friendly. Will continue to consider staying here next time!
GGuest UserBeautiful grounds! The entrance to the hotel is amazing. It’s in a fantastic setting, lovely to walk around the grounds aha explore. The room is slightly dated in comparison to other hotels, however the bed is comfy and you have a tv and hot drink facilities. Pool, jacuzzi and steam room were a nice touch.
GGuest UserGave me an extra sheet when I asked (to sleep under as the weather was so hot). Quiet hotel despite there being lots of people around, easy to get to the station, West Quay, and town centre. Hotel doesn't have air conditioning but have something that aims to keep the room at a steady set temperature whatever the weather outside, which works just as well. Cleaners were efficient and thorough.
BBad laiAs I was not travelling by car, the hotel was a bit far from the Southampton railway station. The bus passing by the hotel only ran once an hour, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the decoration of the hotel completely met my requirements. It was a very historic British building with a swimming pool. Breakfast was served in an old British space, which was a very refreshing start to a new day.
WWanlibenteng888The hotel facilities are very good, it looks clean and hygienic, and it's very atmospheric. The service is in place and I will stay again next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
