Just back from a lovely night away at this hotel in Southport. Staff here were so lovely and the whole experience was excellent. We stayed in room 112 which was at the side of the building, the room was beautifully decorated.the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom had a walk in shower and worked with a touch of one finger as did the mirror above the sink!! We arrived earlier than check in time but Andrew at the desk very kindly offered to keep our suitcase behind the desk so we could go off and walk around the town.when we got back he also carried the case up to our room for us. On leaving our room for check out the following day we met the lovely Jill and another housekeeper who asked how our stay was a chatted a while to us. When we got to the check out desk we were greeted with a lovely happy lady called Claudia who also chatted to us. We didn’t eat here but next time we go we will as we will definitely be returning for another stay!! Thank you to all for an enjoyable stay

Not a very good start with entering our room the smell was very apparent they had problems with the toilet even the cleaner agreed with the smell emanating from the toilet two cans of room deodorant helped Our main gripe would be with the food as we booked breakfast and dinner not a great choice of meals offered arrived Saturday afternoon not pleased with the meal, then breakfast over done fried eggs ,sausage just about passable beans and tomatoes were obviously warmed up from yesterday or the day before the bacon was overcooked like shoe leather uneatable I wouldn't try the mushrooms and the hash browns were horrible the same goes with the fried bread On the Sunday whilst passing the reception we asked about the .meal times and was only told then that we had to go to the sister hotel the prince of Wales a cross the road for our meal nobody made us aware of having to go there before we asked .the prince of Wales hotel was spotless and food was really good, well done to them they should teach the scarisbrick hotel how to run a well organised hotel and definitely train the chef ( cafe cook ) cant call him a chef

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and were so pleased that we did. We had a gorgeous deluxe room, overlooking the marina. Unfortunately, my husband is allergic to feathers, and we didn't realise that feather duvet and pillows would be provided. Within 5 minutes of contacting Reception, housekeepers arrived to change the bedding. Nothing was too much trouble. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and pleasantly served, so I don't know why there were negative reviews on here about the food. When we checked out, the Receptionist said that we could keep our car there for a few more hours so that we could enjoy Southport for longer. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Great family hotel located centrally within Southport. It’s right next door to the indoor water park and there’s a Morrisons right next door too which is convenient. Pleasure Land is also a few minute stroll away so the location was perfect for us. The staff are professional and friendly and the room was clean.
