"It was cleaner than I expected, which was great, and I had a comfortable stay without any major issues. My only concern is that the front desk is often unstaffed, so it might be a bit challenging if any problems arise. However, for experienced travelers, I don't foresee any major difficulties. The location is excellent, being very close to the subway station and the airport bus stop right nearby. It's also conveniently close to the London Bagel Museum."

"An absolutely wonderful experience! We arrived at the hotel before check-in time on a very cold day, and needed to put more clothes on our child. The staff thoughtfully provided us with an unoccupied room to get settled and bundle up, which was incredibly considerate.
The reception staff (a young woman and a young man) spoke a little Chinese. I then asked them for travel advice. They were so welcoming and helpful, assisting me with booking Busan train tickets online, calling places I wanted to visit, and making reservations for activities. The young man even took us to a convenience store to buy subway cards and sent me daily itinerary directions. I booked a triple room, which was a two-bedroom apartment, perfect for our family of four. It had a living room and a hot spring bath, and was clean and tidy. Each bed was 1.5 meters wide, which is quite rare. The space was spacious and comfortable. Downstairs, there are aesthetic clinics, hair salons, and several convenience stores. The subway station is also within a 5-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. You can also walk to a huge shopping mall, which includes a luxury department store like LV, as well as a general shopping complex with plenty of dining and shopping options. We will definitely come back next time!"

"Super easy to find, practically a straight walk from Seoul Station! The room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly adequate for a brief stopover before heading back home after visiting other regions. The air conditioning was tricky to manage; it would get too cold with it on and too warm with it off. It required some self-management, like keeping it on, dressing warmly, and using blankets."

DDouglas_TFrom the moment I stepped out of the car until I reached my room, someone was there to assist me. When I opened the door, the turndown service was already done, and my charging cables were neatly organized and plugged in. By the bed, there was water and a sealed glass. I've stayed in many hotels, both domestically and internationally, but very few make me feel comfortable enough to use their kettle and glasses. The entire service process was seamless and unobtrusive, yet they anticipated every detail I could possibly need for my trip.

RRenzhenrenThis hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money.

CCherlyn246The location, the room, the food and most of all, the service were incredible. The shopping mall is conveniently nearby. I traveled with two seniors, and the concierge and reception staff took great care of our luggage. Although I can’t remember all the names of the staff who assisted us, I would like to especially thank Liam Joo for his kind help during our checkout. I stayed at this hotel for gd concert held at KSPO Dome, and Sofitel would definitely be my first choice if I have to attend another one in the future.

GGrimnirThe staff were the absolute stars of the show. Everyone working here was absolutely brilliant and genuine.
They truly took care of me during my stay, props to the whole team. The concierge, the bartenders, the receptionists and the doormen, I could literally name everyone.
The cleaning could use some work in the bathroom, but it wasn’t anything crazy.
Will be visiting again for sure!

GGuest UserMy second stay here, and it's still my top choice when visiting Korea. This year, the hotel has more Chinese-speaking staff, which made communication much easier. They also helped us call taxis when we went out, which was a nice touch. The area around the hotel is great for exploring; you'll find trendy spots everywhere you go. A special mention: several restaurants right outside the hotel serve delicious food, and they're all frequented by locals.

1. They cleaned all the stains off the magnifying mirror, a service I haven't received at other hotels of the same star rating.
2. I visited during the ***** New Year (CNY), and the hotel diary correctly labeled it as CNY, not LNY – much appreciated! 🫶
3. The hotel was very attentive to personal belongings; even when I went downstairs to pick up takeout, they carefully verified the order number.
Additionally, the hotel breakfast was excellent. I stayed for four days and three nights, and I had a very satisfying breakfast every morning.
The room itself was a bit small, but its convenient location made up for it. It was easy to get around by taxi or on foot!
Just a heads-up: if you're heading to Incheon Airport from here, you should allow 1.5 hours for travel time, as there can be traffic. Gimpo Airport might be a more convenient option.

What made the biggest difference for me was the location — it’s truly excellent. There are so many great breakfast spots, restaurants, and shops nearby, and it’s easy to explore the area on foot. Having the metro close by is also a huge plus.
It was my first time in Korea, and I honestly felt a bit anxious about where I would stay. But the moment I arrived, those worries disappeared — the area feels lively, safe, and very comfortable to navigate.
The hotel itself isn’t brand new, but it’s well maintained. The service is solid, housekeeping is reliable, and overall everything works as it should. Nothing flashy — just consistently good.
But really, the location makes this place stand out. It’s one of those rare hotels you actually want to come back to. And I definitely would.

Only bummer was at check out timing is 11am, we tried asking for later check out timing during check-in and was told hotel is full. Managed to get a late check out of 12pm when we tried again the night before leaving the hotel.
Hotel has a little mall,a coffee bean, CU, some expensive restaurants. It also has a sauna (30K won per pax), 1 hot and cold tub and one sauna room.
Room amenities can be requested via the web app in your room. Rooms were very modern, however Water from the shower does flood the dry toilet area a little. Generally a great stay.

GGuest UserThe location was great, right behind the station. Having a 7-Eleven right next door and a supermarket nearby was perfect for enjoying tangerines in the jacuzzi. The heating worked well, and the welcome drink being Kooksoondang Makgeolli was a delightful surprise. Although the wish paper and incense burner were gone, traditional games like Yutnori and Gonggi were still available.
The amenities included shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrushes, and disposable toothpaste. There was also a separate foot towel, and plenty of regular towels (6-8 sheets). The herbal tea bag for the jacuzzi had a lovely subtle scent.
My only minor complaints were a nail on top of the bathroom towel, a loose power outlet, and while the portable standing TV was a nice touch, there was no remote control. The soundproofing wasn't great; I could often hear the TV, conversations, laughter, and even what was being discussed from the next room. Also, if you opened the jacuzzi window curtain, you had a clear view into the windows of the villa opposite, so it's probably best to keep it closed.
Despite these small issues, it was a charming place, and at this price point, I'd say it's worth coming to enjoy at least once.
