Ground floor room with shower, compact one small wardrobe, no kng size bed which nowadays are pretty well standard, my bedside table collapse, cheap self assembly. The Hotel as steps at entrance and steps inside to bar and dining room. Rather small lift to other floors. Breakfast self service for hot & cold food, down steps to dining room, meals average neither good or bad. We think they are packing too many Coach Tours at one time, causing meal times to be variable and not consistent.

Five-star recommendation, super location, invincible sea view, breakfast included, mainly the scenery is very good, just next to the train station, there is a small road into the restaurant, the bar and the bar are sea views, there is a large terrace outside, sitting can drink Afternoon tea, sit at the bar and drink at night, watching the seascape outside. The room I booked was small, but it was not bad. It also provided slippers and bathrobes, bath towels, etc. It was very convenient to go down to the beach for a few minutes. It was the most recommended hotel next to the beach, and it was relatively new.

Amazing location, our balcony room was overlooking the stunning Porthminster beach, the room felt very luxurious and the dressing gowns are a lovely touch. It has been my mums dream to stay here, and she wasn’t disappointed. Kellie and the team looked after mum from the minute we arrived until we left. We ate in the dining room on the first night and the food was outstanding. The breakfast had a good continental choice as well as a varied hot menu. The staff deserve another mention, we felt so looked after by everyone, they are always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much Kellie and your lovely team - I can’t wait for my return in April with my husband to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Mum is also looking to return soon too 😊
