We have stayed in this hotel several times, all for the convenience of students taking exams. The hotel is not bad, the service attitude of the front desk staff is very good, and the room facilities are also good.

The whole dinning area and all restaurants were under construction and there was no mentioning of this during booking. Partially renovated room felt unpleasant.

The very large and well know hotel is under construction. It has been, and willl continue to be for many more months. The gorgeous lobby and bar that are shown are non existent. There is no restaurant, so basic food items can be delivered in a paper bag. The way to order food is through a QR code taped on the hotel phone. My qr reader couldn’t read it because it had faded so badly. I had to enter and exit through a back door where there was a rudimentary makeshift check in. After that I walked through the banquet area past ALL the construction to a sad elevator leading to my room. This is NOT the Hyatt Regency I know. Of course the minute I finalized my reservation is when you find out it’s being renovated. *******, stay in touch and don’t advertise hotels and charge full price when they are a mess!

Hotel undergoing a refit of Restaurant/bar area, Only had room service for meals, the hotel has enough conference space that they could have made a temporary restaurant.

This place is always under construction! Couldn’t find front desk!! The man at the desk was very nice but some signage would help. TV didn’t work. Put us in a room for people with disabilities. Not what we asked for. We come to Stamford often and will be looking for a new place to stay. This isn’t a hotel. It’s a location for “events.”
