Me and my cousin had a great time at Villa Ensoleille with well-stocked kitchen, and stunning view from jacuzzi. Staffs are so friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Manager Mr. Hiroyuki-san for your hospitality. The villa is with an amazing view of Mt. Fuji and the environment is peaceful as well. We got an amazing time with an incredible Mt. Fiji view. Highly recommended Villa Ensoleille.

I traveled with a friend. We arrived late to the station and couldn't leave long. We managed to ask a man on the street to talk to the host (because he didn't know English). The host agreed to pick us up and take us away. He was very cheerful and fun. We are very grateful for help. The house itself was quite a little up the mountain, because of it the windows were the best view on Fuji. We were very lucky with the weather. The house is neat and very comfortable, in traditional Japanese style. In winter it is cool, but there are heaters everywhere and the room is quickly heated. Very clean and neat. Comfortable and soft mattresses, dark blankets. Sleeping on the foot is convenient. And breakfast with the view on Fuji is invaluable. In the future, the host helped us with different issues and we are very grateful for the opportunity to stop.

The staff was very enthusiastic. We were raining. The staff trotted up to check the name of the occupant and guided directly to the door of the room to avoid the children from rain. The room is warm and comfortable, the facilities are well-equipped and well-equipped, and Mount Fuji can be seen on the sofa or on the bed. There is a small house in the front view. It is slightly insufficient compared to the lakeside scenery, but it is quiet. It should be noted that the red line bus operation time of Kawaguchiko Station is 9 pm and 6 pm, and the rest of the time, public transportation back to the hotel is gone, and taxis are not easy to find. Remember!

Be aware that the last bus leaves quite early. — You can also ask a staff member to drive you. — On the day we checked in, a group of deer appeared outside the accommodation at 7 PM. — The downstairs bathroom is a good size and has a bathtub. However, the bathroom door itself can't be locked; only the outer washroom door can. — No password needed for the Wi-Fi, but you have to reconnect every hour. — The heater in the room emitted a strong smell of burnt fuel, which was unpleasant. — There was an insect on the wall near the door in the room, on the floor. — The road outside is poorly lit; it gets so dark you can barely see your hand in front of you. I recommend bringing a flashlight when going out. — There's a coffee machine. — It's very quiet in the vicinity. — The downstairs toilet area seemed to have no heating, making it extremely cold to use at night. — The staff can communicate in English and even gave me an apple.

This is a very traditional Japanese guesthouse, conveniently located near JR Kawaguchiko Station. It features tatami mat sleeping areas, and there's a restroom on every floor. My only minor complaints are that the sliding doors can be a bit noisy and the futons are a little old. Overall, I recommend staying here.

The hotel offers a beautiful lakeside view directly in front of Lake Shoji, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. Although the property is quite old, it is well maintained and full of charming vintage Japanese character. The service was warm and attentive, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The location is especially convenient for travelers driving around the Fuji area, with easy access and a comfortable overall experience. We also reserved a private onsen for bathing, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Please note that the room itself did not include a shower — only a toilet — but this matched the traditional Japanese-style ryokan experience. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers seeking an authentic, nostalgic Japanese atmosphere with beautiful scenery and genuine hospitality.

Even though it's a ryokan-style hotel, the private room was quite large and spacious. It had its own bathroom and sink inside the room. The bedding was a futon on the floor, and yukata robes were provided. The shared bathrooms, separated by gender, were outside the room. They were large enough for 3-4 people to shower at once and could be locked. There was also a large soaking tub in the bathroom. But the view of Mount Fuji? Absolutely unbeatable! Especially in the morning with the golden light, Fuji-san looked incredibly beautiful.

The hotel is quite old, but everything is clean. Upon entering, you need to change into slippers and leave your shoes in a special locker. On each floor, there are thermoses with hot water and tea. They provide towels and Japanese-style bathrobes, which is a nice touch! 👍🏼 There's no smart toilet, which is common in most places in Japan. However, if you're looking for atmosphere, great views of Mount Fuji, and plan on being out and about rather than spending all day in the hotel, I definitely recommend it. 👍🏼 It's about a 20-minute walk from the station, which means fewer tourist crowds. There's also a small shopping center nearby. Rooms facing the road offer excellent views of Mount Fuji! We stayed in room 406. 🙂

Some passengers mentioned that the wallpaper cracks and the bathroom is slightly old, but the room is large and clean, and the equipment is complete. • Note: There are many stairs, which is not suitable for people with mobility problems or pushing a lot of luggage.

One of the characteristics of a traditional hot spring hotel is that the shower time is from 4 to 9 o'clock. If you don't pay attention, it will be awkward. Among other things, the food is quite good and relatively average, but it is more difficult to communicate. The hotel is relatively remote and there is no shuttle, but it is probably one of the hotels closest to Lake Kawaguchi. You can walk to Lake Kawaguchi in 3 minutes. The scenery is beautiful and you can see Mount Fuji directly.  He has special red slippers, they are so special There is a convenience store across the road, how convenient is it? If you have a car, there will be no problem. If you don’t have a car, there will be some inconvenience.
