Guest UserI was there with 13 of my friends. To our surprise, the whole unit is very clean, much higher than our expectation. The beds are clean, the toilets are clean, the karaoke system is very good (according to one of my friends who sings a lot), the TV comes with different channels catering to young and old, the kitchen is in tip top with all the cutlery. Can park 3 cars inside the porch and 1 car outside, suits groups with a few cars. Service from the Management Team is responsive, even when I messaged them in the middle of the night on the day when we were supposed to check in. Location is around 20 minutes drive to Jonker Street or surrounding ”famous” eateries. 5 minutes walk to a nearby Chinese coffee shop selling Chinese food and a Muslim eatery selling Muslim food. Convenient for those who just want to have a simple coffee and food for breakfast. Will definitely book this place again if I were to go to Malacca again with a big group of friends or family. Highly recommended.

MeichemeifangmeiqianThis hostel is absolutely fantastic! The location is superb – super close to the Stadthuys, Jonker Street, and St. Paul's Hill. You can get here directly from Malacca Central Station by taking the M100 bus; it's about a 10-minute walk from the Hatten Hotel bus stop. The ground floor is a common area with a washing machine, dryer, kitchen, and even a media room, plus lots of cats! I stayed on the third floor this time, and you do have to carry your own luggage up, so keep that in mind if you have big bags. It's great that the bathroom, toilet, and washbasins are all on the same floor. The only minor point is that each bed only has one power outlet, which might not be enough, but there are extra outlets in the room that you can use with an adapter, so that makes up for it.

This is my second stay here. We booked a deluxe double room and got a ground-floor room right behind the front desk. The room wasn't huge, but it wasn't cramped either; there was still enough space to sit. There were plenty of outlets, the air conditioning worked well, and there was also a fan. The room was clean and smelled good, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. In the wardrobe, there were several hangers that seemed to have been left by previous guests. The bathroom provided soap and shampoo, and the water pressure was good. There was no drinking water in the room, but you could always get water from the dispenser behind the front desk. Tea and coffee were also available.

Paste-Melaka is definitely worth an overnight stay; many people just do day trips, but Melaka at night has a special charm. E’ House is run by a Chinese family, so communication in Chinese was very smooth. The room had a lovely Nanyang-style vibe, and the facilities were excellent. Although the soundproofing wasn't great, the customer service assistant responded immediately after we gave feedback, and we still managed to get a good night's sleep. From the guesthouse, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Melaka River, and then you can follow the river all the way to Jonker Street.

Guest UserWe didnt bring any car, no comment about parking.
The unit is enough for 6 adult. Aircon work good at living room, but not at the 3 bed room. They need to fix it.
We have decent stay at the unit, towel and drinking water provided. One thing minus from the building is the Elevator, only 2 slow Elevator to provide all the unit with 26th floor.
There is one time we need to go emergency exit just to go down to the ground floor. 😅

Anonymous UserThis was my third time staying at this hotel. This budget hotel has a good location in the Melaka town area, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and famous eateries.
The hotel decor and furnishings look rather dated, room was simple but comfortable, though the cleanliness could have been better. The Wi-Fi was not very stable, but the water pressure was great. A water dispenser is provided, and roadside parking is available.

M.HattaBudget hotel which meet your expectations. Before checking in, please set your expectations. This is not Shangrila or Grand Hyatt level. If your expectation is correct, then money well spent. 2 big queen size bed, decent shower, probably is best value point relative ro other budget hotel in Malacca.
Location in Semabok, outskirts from main tourist spot but who cares if you know what you want. Obviously need transport to move around.

The location is very strategic nearby the red church which is the tourists attraction, also surrounding by famous cafe & bakery. So it’s easily to go anywhere, the road kinda busy but it’s still find for us to sleep. The room is enough for two people and it’s clean. Cute interior of the places, no receptionist standby at the place need to go to the next building if you have stuffs to ask.

This small, Chinese-run guesthouse's biggest draw is its excellent location. It's just a short walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and Malacca's Old Town. However, the facilities are quite dated. The air conditioning in my first room kept leaking, so I had to switch rooms. The AC in the second room also didn't cool well, but I just put up with it. I figured all their rooms probably had similar issues, so changing again wouldn't make much difference. Even the bath towels were torn and frayed. Given the low price, I couldn't really be too critical. After all, you get what you pay for, haha!

Nature Lover68The Swing & Pillows group is one of my favourite accommodation brands in Malaysia. I've always had pleasant stays with them. One of the top notch is the affordable price. Moreover, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, while the check-in process is quick and hassle-free.
The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, especially the cosy beds and soft pillows that ensure a great night's sleep. Most of their properties also feature a Smart TV, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers!
