Stayed for 3 days. Advantages: 1. There is a mosquito net that can be used to cover the bed, so mosquitoes cannot get in at all. 2. The breakfast looks average, but tastes good. The Bangladeshi chef mixes cucumber slices with sour and sweet flavors. If you want an omelette, he will make it. There are two or three kinds of porridge, soy milk, and pasta. I eat very full every day. Due to personal reasons, the time was not right for lunch and dinner and I have not eaten it, so I cannot comment. 3. Free airport pick-up and friendly attitude. 4. I used the mobile phone card left by a previous customer for free for 3 days. I worked hard to solve my daily needs. Disadvantages: 1. The rooms are relatively old and are generally not chosen in China. For example, there is no water cup. I didn’t find a hotel because of this, because I can deal with it by using a mineral water bottle when brushing my teeth. I forgot about this trivial matter when we met. 2. The exchange rate at the airport is 16 taka for 1 RMB, and 15 taka here. Later, it was also 16 taka to change with a local tour guide. 3. The name is unlucky. It is recommended to change the name. By the way, let me advertise, I have breakfast at 9 o'clock, so I will have lunch at 15 o'clock. Although our restaurant is free, but the time is wrong, I always go to the Panda Dumpling House about 1.8 kilometers southwest of our store to solve the problem. This Panda is owned by a lady from Shenyang. It’s delicious and cheap. It’s almost become my canteen. The sizzling beef and dry tofu are just like eating in Shenyang. I personally have 2 dishes, 1 meal, 1 Coke and ice cream, usually 1,200 taels. Card left and right. In comparison, Mapo Tofu at nearby Dunhuang Restaurant costs 800 taka.

I didn't stay at the Mango Hotel in Dhaka before because I accidentally lost my passport and I felt so miserable in this place where I had no relatives! Later, my friend introduced me to the Mango Hotel and said that he would help us Chinese people. I found the Mango Hotel with a nervous heart. The owner was really good. I picked up the phone and called the embassy and sent someone to take me to complete the procedures. Because I had to wait for a few working days to get the documents, I stayed in the hotel. To be honest, the cleanliness of the hotel was my first impression. The second was that all the meals were authentic Chinese food. The third was that all the staff were warm and the service attitude was super good. It made me feel like home. I want to express a lot, and I am not dragging my feet. If you plan to come to Dhaka, Bangladesh for inspection, you must choose the Dhaka Mango Hotel. The owner has been here for more than 20 years and knows all walks of life. He will not let you get lost. You will not regret choosing the Dhaka Mango Hotel, which will save you detours. It is worth recommending! Thanks to everyone at the Dhaka Mango Hotel.

I have lived in the coconut grove for several years, and I come to her house every time I travel. The boss is a woman with a bold personality. I have been in the catering and hotel industry in the commercial area of Dhaka city center for more than ten years. I have a certain understanding of various industries. I just came to Dhaka to open the factory and gave me some kind suggestions! I have stayed in two hotels in their home. The hotel has a pick-up and drop-off service to help out the invitation letter. The environment is good and the configuration is high. The rooms are clean and bright. The rooms are large and clean. The waiters are thoughtful. The most important thing is to provide Chinese food. It is trustworthy and recommended. Chinese hotel.

The hotel's surroundings are the quietest I've found in Bangladesh. Because it's in the embassy area, it's the safest area in Bangladesh and the first choice for foreigners like us to live in.
The hotel's environment is also pretty good, and the facilities are average.
The hotel service is OK, but there are few breakfast dishes.
I give 10 points for the late check-out, but the WiFi signal is not very good.
Clean environment, quiet and safe, convenient transportation, free pick-up and drop-off, assist in handling invitation letter, visa on arrival. Chinese professional chef, barrier-free communication.

Every time I come to Dhaka, I always stay at Shandong Hotel. It is mainly safe and quiet. The hotel is in a separate building with dedicated security guards downstairs. The community where it is located is also very safe. The hotel has commercial vehicles to provide free pick-up and drop-off services. Because it is very inconvenient to take a taxi in Dhaka, this is really reassuring. Secondly, the hotel provides three meals a day for free, all of which are authentic Chinese home-cooked dishes. The local meals in Dhaka are really unpalatable, and the Chinese restaurants outside are expensive. It’s outrageous. It’s very economical to stay in this hotel with free meals.

Just a wonderful hotel overall! Great location, close enough to major attractions in Dhaka, including the train station for onward travel to Khulna (the gateway to Sundarbans National Park). Hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and courteous, upon arrival, even allowing me to check-in much earlier than the stated check-in time. Room was clean and was spacious enough for a solo traveller! Room amenities included a working mini fridge, flatscreen tv with satellite (and at least several English speaking channels), working air conditioning, strong wifi signal, an electric kettle, tea, Nescafé 3-in-1, sugar, a 1.5 litre bottle of water and basic toiletries including a dental kit, comb, bar of soap, shampoo and shower gel. Towels were clean and toilet paper was stocked! Beds were comfortable and linens were very clean, almost new! Included breakfast buffet was delicious and appreciated! Location of the hotel was also great in terms of shops, and mini markets. There is a moderate sized super market about 700 metres from the hotel, where I was able to find most everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to bottled water, dried foods and snacks, treats. Staff allowed me to store my bigger backpack there for the day while I was sightseeing in Dhaka, and before my night train to Khulna! Thank you so much!

Outstanding
GGuest UserProbably the best value for money in Gulshan area. Very good breakfast.
Would stay again.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Shinepukur Suites this year and it was a very comfortable one. Mr Monir took care of all my needs, from reservations to F&B requirements. The hotel room is very homely and had the personal touch. The food at the hotel was very nice and I was pleased with the overall service. My room was very specious and the balcony had a wonderful view (facing Police Plaza). I will be back again this April, thank you all specially Mr. Monir! A+++
GGuest UserI recently completed a two-week visit to Bangladesh and stayed at three different hotels. I will not only review them in detail but give an overview of my experience of budget hotels in Bangladesh as a tourist. Most of my thoughts, comments, and opinions on all three of these properties are the same so there will be some copying and pasting in these reviews. Tourists wishing to arrive in Bangladesh and receive a visa on arrival (VOA) are advised to have hotel bookings and Proof of Onward Travel (POOT). I made both hard and digital copies of all my bookings and they were checked at both the airline check-in counter and immigration in Dhaka. However, no one was interested in more than a few days of hotel bookings and I only presented hotel reservations for the first four nights. This is important for those of us who are plan-as-you-go travelers and don’t like to make bookings ahead of time. In the future, I will only book the first few nights and see how that goes. I ended up canceling several reservations (bookings) I made through Agoda because I changed my plans, and now, I have no doubt you can get a better price by simply walking in. On with the review of the hotel Pragati Inn: This hotel is close to the airport and was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, my room was extremely noisy because of the local road traffic. It is also a bit too far from Old Dhaka if you intend on exploring the most interesting parts of the city. This is a typical Asian-style budget hotel: a bit dated and could use some maintenance and a coat of paint. Having said that, the room and bathroom were surprisingly clean, and the air-conditioning and hot water were excellent. A complimentary breakfast was included in the price, but I did not try it. The wi-fi was so-so, in all three hotels I stayed at. I thought that the price I paid through Agoda ($45.75 USD) was a bit high for what I got. The owner of the hotel confirmed that if I were to book directly with the hotel, I could get a room for roughly half the price. I would only return here if I needed to be close to the airport.
简简爱1984The hotel where I stayed on business was good in every respect! Companies close to customers are now very cheap, and there are more convenience stores and snack bars downstairs! All good!
GGuest Uservery clean restaurant and food like fully hygienic. we just enjoyed. i was there for three night over all my experience was great. specially Mr, rakib who work in the restaurant he was very hospitality and suggestive and more polite. room is very clean and tidy. All stuffs are very well. thanks to all
KKokoBelThe Hotel Shuktara markets itself as a luxury business budget hotel, which is a very apt description. While applying for my visa on arrival, the officials insisted on keeping my printed hotel reservation, so make sure to print it twice! Even without the hardcopy, I had no problem checking in, and was warmly received. My room was modern & looked nice, with funky blue lights. It featured a sitting area, a minibar and sufficient closet space. The bathroom was small, but functional. The biggest drawback was the WiFi, which didn't work most of the time. Even when it did work, it was excruciatingly slow and basically unusable. I quickly resorted to buying a local SIM card. Even without WiFi, the Hotel Skuktara offers great value for money.
Mmasasaito88Although the building and equipment are old, the quality of the service far outweighs that. Not only were we treated politely at check-in and breakfast, but when we called a taxi to take us to the airport at check-out, they carried us to the door of the taxi under an umbrella in a downpour. It was also the first time in my life. Breakfast was almost reserved for me, and I was told about various things like juice, bread, and eggs, and it was a pleasant feeling to have someone by my side without being too noisy. It looks like a 2 star hotel, but it was very comfortable. I would like to stay here again when I visit Bangladesh.
GGuest UserAbsolutely tops in terms of service/ helpfulness! Hotel manager snd staff sorted out a complicated issue involving our booking and refused to take or ask for any money from us over the 5 days we stayed - even upgrading us to a suite for the final two nights when one became available.
Staff speak English - and are helpful in providing Information about getting around, arranging transportation and laundry. A lovely rooftop cafe - a green oasis- and Taste Snacks. A Full Range of Bengali dishes as well as western food is also avsilable. And all this for less than 50CAD - very good value!
The hotel is located near the Old City- easily accessible by taxi, tuktuk or rickshaw- also BaileyRoad is within easy walking distance, a quieter tree lined street and New Bailey Road with Shopping Restaurants etc though these are also available in a buzzier context in the streets surrounding the hotel.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and Return again- Note the address at 873 Outer Circular Road( not the one on listing we saw/ booked located several hundred meters away, at 12 Outer Circular Road. The hotels are not linked, whatever you are told by the latter. And actual Grand Circle Inn at 873 is of higher standard/ quality…
AAmandeep118Chose the hotel to stay near the office of business associates Pros + Not much far from Gulshan and other posh areas + Smooth check-in and check-out process + Bar & restaurant available in hotel but these are overpriced + Staff is cooperative and helpful Cons - Room rent is overpriced - Noisy (Traffic & Local market) - Smelly room but you will get used to it - No majestic view - Traffic to and from airport I will like to explore more hotels in the future.
GGuest UserA hotel for not picky travelers who are used to comparing deluxe rooms in different hotels. Perfect for an overnight stay close to the airport. Located in a quiet area, but at the same time within walking distance of busy places where you can find everything from a street macaroon to currency exchange, restaurants and shopping centers. The air conditioner was working, the fan was spinning, the water was running ... what else do you need to relax before the flight. A separate word must be said about the staff. The guys are willing to help with anything you ask. Many thanks to Md. Rubel for his assistance in resolving the issue with the ticket, and M Fazlur Rahman simply for being a sincere person.
