This hotel could be the best one in Uttara area. The service goes beyond the expectation, as you can feel the pure kind heart from their smile. Remarkably Mr. Asif and Ms. Rupa are very impressive. Their manager Mr. Raihan gave a gentle asking if I arrived back to China. Apart from the service, the facilities are also high quality. Gym, swimming pool, SPA, pub etc. are all well equipped. Highly recommend!

Stayed 3 nights and it was a flawless experience from start to finish. Booking the airport transfer through the hotel was so easy, and the driver was waiting for us right after baggage claim — a perfect first impression. The entire team, from the front desk to the restaurant, is top-notch: attentive, helpful, and always smiling. Knowing we were in the secure embassy area let us relax completely. And with the enormous breakfast spread offering new discoveries every day, we were fueled and ready to explore. For a stress-free visit to Dhaka, this hotel has it all figured out.

I stayed at the Lakeside Heights, also known as The Olive Hotel, for 20 days. The rooms varied in quality, with some having various minor issues, which might be due to the hotel's older structure. I can say that almost all hotel staff were incredibly friendly, except for one night when I requested a room change because it was too noisy, and the front desk staff had a poor attitude. Otherwise, all other staff members, whether at the front desk, security, or housekeeping, were very friendly and polite! The hotel breakfast offered a good variety, and the gym was sufficient for basic needs, even having a dedicated staff member available for guidance and assistance, which was a great plus!

Good location and 10 mins walk away from great eating places and some shopping. The room was large enough for two and the breakfast very decent and tasty. The gym could be better equipped tho, a lot of the machines were not functioning.

The place is nice, staffs are friendly and can speak English very well. I traveled there alone, but I would like to reccommend the place for family group or couples.

Overall, the hotel is decent, but it's not worth the money. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant are very polite. They always greet you, smile, and open doors. The location is good. There's a park nearby and a shopping center with many cafes opposite. The breakfasts aren't overly varied but are quite good. There was always a meat dish, fruits, cheese, and a variety of pastries. Pleasant, relaxing music plays. However, there was a big BUT that spoiled the entire impression. Out of 5 days spent at the hotel, I saw cockroaches in the restaurant twice. Once it was just on the wall, and the second time it was sitting right on a piece of bread. It was terribly unpleasant. Also, despite their general politeness, the male housekeepers cleaned the room in a very peculiar way. For some reason, they cleaned the toilet without detergents, and the toilet smell lingered. Maybe they're trying to save money. I understand that this is Bangladesh, and it's foolish to expect the same standards as European hotels. But they do position themselves as an expensive hotel for foreign guests and generally well-off people. They need to live up to that. First and foremost, they should get rid of the cockroaches in the kitchen. I don't believe the staff themselves have never seen them there.

Too much mosquito even in higher floor. I booked this hotel for my Parents. They stayed 3nights on 12th floor room number 16. Overall facilities is okay,clean but not really clean.1st night they could not sleep at all because of mosquitoes. They informed reception next morning was was told they will spray but same thing happened 2nd night as well, when called reception said they sprayed which was not true.after requesting 3times they sprayed and finally there was no mosquito.they need to give more attention. Visitors are not allowed, bathroom is too small and bidet is too short to reach.

Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. However, I was disappointed that I didn’t receive a room with balcony access, even though I had booked it well in advance and specifically requested it. Aside from that, the hotel staff were accommodating and courteous, which I truly appreciated. In terms of cleanliness, the room appeared clean at first glance but lacked attention to detail. It seemed like the bedsheets and duvet cover hadn’t been changed, as there were multiple stains on them. The bathroom floor also had several strands of hair, which were only noticeable if you looked closely. The breakfast was average—not a wide variety, but the food tasted good. One downside was the air conditioning; it was outdated and not so comfortable. What stood out the most was the friendliness some of the staff. Their warm and helpful attitude made a big difference in my experience.

Dear Trip.com Support, I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding my recent hotel stay booked through your platform. During breakfast at the hotel, I found an insect/ant in my food, which was extremely disturbing and unacceptable from a hygiene and food safety perspective. I immediately informed the hotel staff, and while they replaced the food, the incident completely ruined my dining experience and caused serious concern about the hotel’s cleanliness standards. I booked this stay expecting proper hygiene and quality service, but this experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I have attached/photo evidence of the issue. Considering the unpleasant experience and health concern caused, I request appropriate compensation or resolution from your side. Please investigate this matter and update me as soon as possible. This hotel is great. It’s a little hard to find because the sign for the hotel is not obvious but everything including the buffet breakfast is really nice. The restaurant will try and force you to buy an expensive specialty water by bringing it to your table without asking. Make sure to ask the price of any water before you open it! After the first time it happened, I told them not to do it again and they honored my demand. I would return here in the future.
