The pictures were so promising, the actual property is just next level. Welcomed by Jane, the host, we immediately felt at home. We would not have changed a single object there, nor in the common area. Fully in line with our personal tastes. We found out later that Jane’s husband, a designer, was behind the the set-up. Not a surprise at all. In addition to a yummy breakfast, that pas planned, we ended up having a dinner and a late lunch. Both prepared by a super ayi. So tasty and genuine. We spend a couple of hours in the adjacent bamboo forest. Crispy air, unique light, insane calm (the whole area is so quiet). We will definitely come back. When weather will allow the use of the welcoming swimming pool. Thanks Jane! And please thank ayi on our behalf for the yummy meals.

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. The first time I came to Moganshan ⛰️, I carefully selected an ins style homestay that loves my heart-YOLO (you only live once). I love this emotional decoration style too much. The simple and clean soft decoration really satisfies my face value control 😘. The owner of the homestay is a person who loves life very much. Under the embellishment of various green plants, the whole homestay is both atmospheric and warm. Because it has been raining that day, Yu can lie flat in the room, but the baby is not boring at all. The service of the homestay butler is very good. The baby especially likes the young lady. The young lady is gentle and cute. In the afternoon, the living room is very happy to rest and chat with the boss. The beautiful boss personally made two cups of coffee for us, and made delicious yellow tea for us. I was amway. Close to the evening 🌆 several of our families participated in making the ”Lixia Rice”, which is a very meaningful and close to nature. The babies are very serious, and the parents are also very hard. The first time I tasted Lixia Rice, it was really good. Breakfast is also made by them themselves, the shredded pork noodles are superb, and the soup is the soul 😛. The whole is a very memorable and pleasant homestay experience. 🌷

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road. I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too. Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

Choosing this B&B in Moganshan was a unique experience. Staying in an old Republican-era house and getting to know the charming mother and daughter owners was a rare experience. Although Huang Fu's former residence is located in a bustling city, the moment you enter the courtyard, you're instantly struck by tranquility. The ambiance and furnishings of this large courtyard are truly worth savoring, reflecting the B&B owner's artistic taste and meticulous attention to detail. You can fill your time here with so many interesting things, but life is so short. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and bring them back for a quick chat.

The room we booked for 4 people was very big, with a big balcony where you can drink tea. Below is the yard with many flowers and plants. There are many flowers and plants, as well as a big swing. The B&B is very close to Yucun Square, and it only takes minutes to walk there, making it convenient for dining. The boss was very nice, and gave us two big bamboo shoots and tea leaves he picked himself when we checked out😬😬😬.

Excellent! Not at all misleading in the photos, what you see is what you get. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly. The place is very clean and the environment is great. The only downside is that because of the central air conditioning, someone in one of the rooms was eating hot pot late at night, and the whole room was filled with the smell of hot pot wafting through the air conditioner, making it very uncomfortable. If you really want to eat hot pot, I think you should go to the restaurant. Making a scene in the room is inappropriate and just shows a lack of manners.

This guesthouse boasts excellent facilities and warm service, but the housekeeping was subpar during my extended stay, and my view was impacted by nearby renovations. 🌿 **Ambiance & Facilities** The guesthouse features a large swimming pool, trampoline, and other recreational amenities, making it ideal for families or group retreats. The overall environment is elegant, nestled against a mountain forest and bamboo grove, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. 🛎️ **Service & Housekeeping** The service was warm and attentive, and disposable bedding was provided. However, basic cleaning (like making the bed or emptying the trash) was not performed during my two-night stay, which detracted from the experience. I recommend improving room service standards to ensure guest comfort. 🍳 **Dining Experience** The breakfast was abundant, offering authentic and fresh meals, including homemade grass jelly and coffee, satisfying my taste buds. The dining service is definitely a highlight and deserves praise. 🏗️ **External Factors** Due to renovations at a neighboring guesthouse, the view from my room was obstructed. I suggest checking for nearby construction before booking or opting for a room with a better view to enhance your stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Qingming and it was perfect for what we wanted. Big room with balcony and easy parking. It’s just off the highway (easy to find) but still peaceful and quiet. Very friendly and extremely helpful owners (limited English but no problem)! The best part is definitely the food! Different breakfast every day and everything tasted great. We had dinner there one night as well which was sooo tasty! They also prepared a bamboo sprout for us that we had collected on the day. Overall a great stay and would 100% recommend ⭐️

During the May Day holiday, Moganshan Scenic Area was crowded with people, and the price of homestays was also shockingly expensive, easily one or two thousand. Later, a friend recommended Zhuyanxiyu, which was really affordable and had a large room. It felt great value for money. The yard was paved with stones, and there was a row of stone-built pools full of foxtail algae, which was also very stylish. The roses taken care of by the owner of the homestay were in full bloom, which was very beautiful. The homestay has its own back mountain, which is full of bamboos and full of green. The owner is very enthusiastic, and the owner's wife cooks delicious dishes. The bamboo forest chicken soup is the first choice. The two children drank up the soup without a drop, haha.
