Came to Shenyang to watch the FIBA World Cup qualifiers for men's basketball, and as usual, chose Shangri-La. Since I booked early, the price in Shenyang was quite good, and they even upgraded my room upon arrival. This stay was fantastic! A special thanks to Li Min-hyuk at the front desk for helping me with a late check-out and for patiently telling me all about the 'Mountain Road and Pine Sound' art masterpiece on the east side of the lobby lounge. It's a truly surprising piece where a New Zealand artist team recreated Tang Bohu's ancient Ming Dynasty painting using crystal pillars. The blend of Eastern and Western design is incredibly captivating, offering an immersive experience of traditional Chinese landscape aesthetics. Highly recommend!

Returned to Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping, and once again, it was a truly comfortable and generous experience. The service was incredibly accommodating and efficient; they upgraded my room after a quick chat. The welcome fruit was delicious, and all the welcome amenities were perfectly arranged. Both the breakfast and the executive lounge standards were above average. The 23rd-floor lounge, in particular, was quiet with a comfortable view, and the afternoon tea and evening happy hour offered convenient food and drinks. It was a really pleasant spot to relax during my travels or business downtime. The room itself was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is also convenient for getting around and shopping. All my membership benefits were genuinely provided without any shortcuts or compromises, showing real sincerity towards high-tier members. This will definitely be my top choice when visiting Shenyang again; I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

Traveling to Shenyang with kids, I chose the Pleasant Goat themed family room at Swissôtel Shenyang, and the experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located in the core area of Qingnian Street, with convenient subway access. It's a short taxi ride to attractions like the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion, and also very convenient to get to the TV Tower Night Market. The location is very family-friendly. The Pleasant Goat sports-themed family room we stayed in was thoughtfully decorated and full of childlike fun. The room was equipped with a children's tent, a rocking horse, building blocks for a winner's podium, and plush toy pillows. The bedding was all custom-themed. Our child was absolutely thrilled upon entering the room and played non-stop. The room was spacious with a great city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. They even thoughtfully prepared child-specific amenities. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk associate, Ms. Yolanda, was friendly and responsive. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options, catering to different tastes for adults and children. The hotel also has a gym and a heated swimming pool, perfect for relaxing during your trip. With excellent facilities and abundant family-friendly details, I highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Shenyang. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

I brought my family to Shenyang to see an Errenzhuan show and chose to stay at the Marriott hotel. It seems to be relatively quiet around the old town area. As soon as we got out of the car, the concierge downstairs helped us with our luggage. The room was very clean, tidy, and quite spacious, and they even upgraded us, which we really appreciate. A huge thank you to Belinda at the front desk; she was gentle, sweet, and polite! I'd give her 100 points. Last year and the year before, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt and the Conrad. The Grand Hyatt's front desk staff had the worst attitude, and the Conrad's staff also lacked smiles, plus there were hairs in the room. Belinda was the one who gave me my first good impression upon arriving in Shenyang. Thank you, and I wish her eternal peace and happiness! 🎉 My second commendation goes to another short-haired front desk lady who helped us during checkout. I needed two bottles of mineral water, and she brought out an entire case from the storage room, opened it, and gave them to me. Thank you so much; she was enthusiastic throughout! It seems there are many Koreans staying at this hotel, with a lot of them talking loudly in the lobby late at night. To be honest, the breakfast at this hotel is really not good. The fruit already tasted off, and there wasn't much to eat. It's on par with breakfast at hotels costing between 80 to 100. And I must give a terrible review to a woman in a suit with very dark circles under her eyes in the breakfast department! Overall, it's still good, but I really don't recommend the breakfast. And there's a woman at breakfast – I think she had short hair, I forget, but definitely had prominent dark circles under her eyes – whom I truly want to give a big negative review. I won't type out the details to recall; her attitude was terrible. My positive feedback is solely for the two front desk ladies and the hotel's accommodation environment.

The hotel is next to Beiling Park and is located in a garden with good greenery. The rooms are not big and the layout is compact. I would like to talk about the service in detail: First of all, the service at the hotel front desk is very good. The front desk manager also sent us to the room. Thank you very much! The room service is not satisfactory! We stayed for two consecutive days, and the cleaning lady threw away the food I bought the day before as garbage! The cleaning lady threw away the guests' food and was embarrassed to ask the aunt to compensate. It was quite disgusting! Secondly, the slippers for the second night were not put for us. I called the room service to ask for slippers. The lady in the room service didn't believe it and asked me to look for it in the room. The cleaning lady didn't put the slippers. I called after looking for it! I asked the room service to bring two bottles of water when she sent the slippers. The lady also told me that there were only two bottles of water in one room, and then she said as a charity that she would make an exception and give me two more bottles... Isn't this a five-star hotel? Hotels above four stars can add water for free! Even if you stay in a three-star hotel like Home Inn, you can ask for more water if it's not enough. Do you think that guests in high-end hotels have to drive out to the supermarket to buy water if they don't have enough water? There was a young girl serving the room very well, but the older one had a sullen face and an unpleasant attitude!

Facilities: Marriott's facilities are always top-notch, no complaints there. Cleanliness: Same as above. Ambiance: The room layout is noticeably more rational. Funnily enough, the first time I stayed at a Hyatt, I couldn't even find the restroom! Renaissance hotels, it seems, don't go for those hidden bathroom designs anywhere in the country. Service: Manager Yang at the front desk arranged my room in advance, which was very thoughtful. They even prepared a welcome gift for my friends who traveled a long way, and we got to try the Shenyang specialty, Bulaolin candy. Really great, thumbs up! As someone who lives abroad, whenever I return to Shenyang in the Northeast, it's always the Renaissance. I've stayed there for so many years that I'm genuinely too lazy to try anywhere else. The next time I come to Shenyang, or with friends, I'll definitely choose the Renaissance again!

The hotel is conveniently located near shopping complexes like MixC and K11, and also close to the Hunhe Night Market. Transportation is a breeze with easy access to the subway, high-speed rail, and the airport. You can enjoy beautiful views of Shenyang's night skyline, and the breakfast spread is excellent. Benefits for extended stays include a late 2 PM checkout and complimentary breakfast.

Our stay at Qinghe Peninsula was made absolutely perfect by the thoughtful and attentive service of our butler, Xiao Hui. I have to leave a glowing review! Upon check-in, Xiao Hui proactively helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. She meticulously explained how to use the private hot spring and other room facilities. She even kindly sent us the park's activity schedule, detailing the locations and opening hours of the indoor and outdoor hot springs, water park, sauna area, and buffet restaurant – newcomers wouldn't need to figure anything out on their own. Throughout our stay, any questions we had were quickly answered via WeChat by Xiao Hui. She promptly arranged for extra toiletries and replenished our drinking water when needed. Traveling with children, she thoughtfully provided complimentary children's toys and reminded us of the precautions for the kids' water play area, which was incredibly heartwarming. When I accidentally left a small item behind, she carefully retrieved it and contacted us to pick it up. Her attention to detail truly shined. Xiao Hui was always gentle, polite, and greeted us with a smile. Her service was thorough and meticulous, never perfunctory. The resort environment itself is comfortable, with a wide variety of hot spring pools that are clean and well-maintained. Coupled with the professional and caring service from our butler, our overall vacation experience was truly exceptional. As a highly-regarded hot spring resort in Shenbei, the facilities are top-notch, but the service truly stands out. On our next visit, we'll definitely request her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway – it's well worth a special trip!

It was around 2am when we arrived at the hotel. There were a lot of people waiting to check in at the front desk. The hotel notified us that it was because the Ctrip backend was not turned off and was constantly accepting orders. There were also problems coordinating between the front desk staff who were checking in, and they opened the rooms that had already been checked in many times. The average check-in time for a customer was about 16 minutes. A customer argued with the front desk, and the front desk staff responded by saying, ”I'll refund your money, and you can stop staying.” I know it's not easy to work overtime in the early morning, but it's hard to accept this. The room is very large, and the facilities are basically high-end. Just as I was about to go to bed, a big cockroach came out of the big glass in the bathroom. I was afraid that my wife and children would be scared, so I cleaned it up quietly. In general, the hotel's service does not match the environment, the environment does not match the price, and the price does not match the name 😂
