5-Star Hotels in Shenyang

I'd like to extend my sincere commendation to Austin, a front desk employee at the Hilton Shenyang Shimao. During check-in, Austin was highly professional, efficient, polite, and humble. He quickly completed the registration process and clearly explained the pre-authorization policy, breakfast arrangements, and check-out procedures. Throughout my stay, I had several inquiries, and Austin consistently responded with patience, proactively coordinating various issues and offering practical travel advice. His diligent and responsible work, warm service, and meticulous attention to detail truly showcase his high level of professionalism. Thanks to his thoughtful service, my stay was exceptionally satisfying. I hope the hotel will acknowledge Austin's outstanding performance. Excellent staff are the best calling card for any hotel, and the great service made my entire trip to Shenyang feel incredibly welcoming. On my next visit to Shenyang, I will prioritize staying at the Hilton Shenyang Shimao, looking forward to experiencing Austin's considerate service once again.

I have two minor complaints about my multi-day stay. 1. The hotel had an eco-friendly linen card stating that if you stayed for three consecutive nights without requesting a change of bedding, you'd receive a 'beautiful gift' from Wanda Hotels. Turns out, this 'beautiful gift' was just a plain paper bookmark. It wasn't anything related to local intangible cultural heritage, nor did it have any hotel commemorative value. So, three days of eco-friendliness equaled one cheap bookmark 🔖 in comparison. 2. Around 1 AM on the night of check-in, the hotel suddenly experienced a complete power outage! The hotel explained that it might have been an external issue, like a large cable being damaged, and repairs were underway. However, the elevators were working fine, yet the emergency lights in the room couldn't be turned off at all. It was impossible to sleep, and if we didn't sleep, there was still no power! Just before we checked out, the hotel called and offered a 'gift' as an apology. The staff member brought it up, and to our surprise, it was just an Artemisia argyi (mugwort) hammer, worth less than 10 RMB. After a sleepless night, this felt like such a half-hearted apology, without any real sincerity... just an Artemisia argyi hammer to brush us off. Considering these two points, I feel the hotel's so-called sincerity and thoughtfulness were overly perfunctory! It would have been better if they hadn't offered anything at all! Before leaving, I explicitly told the staff not to bother, as we had many of these items at home. Yet, they still put it in our car! 😞

The Le Méridien Shenyang is indeed excellent. Starting with the ambiance, you're greeted with an artistic vibe right from the entrance. While the lobby isn't a massive, high-ceilinged space, it exudes a sense of luxury and art everywhere you look. As a member, I received a complimentary suite upgrade, which was a very kind gesture. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and all other member benefits were perfectly delivered. Thumbs up! The breakfast selection wasn't as extensive as I'd imagined, possibly because I went a bit late, but several dishes were genuinely delicious. In terms of value for money, it's also the best among the Marriott properties in Shenyang. Finally, I must extend a huge thank you to the attendant who cleaned room 1102 that day. They meticulously found my necklace that had fallen on the floor. Additionally, the front desk and concierge staff helped me mail it back incredibly quickly. This truly demonstrates the excellent service attitude of your hotel staff towards guests and the effective training the hotel provides its employees. Absolutely fantastic!

The hotel is next to Beiling Park and is located in a garden with good greenery. The rooms are not big and the layout is compact. I would like to talk about the service in detail: First of all, the service at the hotel front desk is very good. The front desk manager also sent us to the room. Thank you very much! The room service is not satisfactory! We stayed for two consecutive days, and the cleaning lady threw away the food I bought the day before as garbage! The cleaning lady threw away the guests' food and was embarrassed to ask the aunt to compensate. It was quite disgusting! Secondly, the slippers for the second night were not put for us. I called the room service to ask for slippers. The lady in the room service didn't believe it and asked me to look for it in the room. The cleaning lady didn't put the slippers. I called after looking for it! I asked the room service to bring two bottles of water when she sent the slippers. The lady also told me that there were only two bottles of water in one room, and then she said as a charity that she would make an exception and give me two more bottles... Isn't this a five-star hotel? Hotels above four stars can add water for free! Even if you stay in a three-star hotel like Home Inn, you can ask for more water if it's not enough. Do you think that guests in high-end hotels have to drive out to the supermarket to buy water if they don't have enough water? There was a young girl serving the room very well, but the older one had a sullen face and an unpleasant attitude!

My stay here was fantastic, and I have to give a special shout-out to Olivia at the front desk! I arrived early, worried I'd have a long wait to check in, but Olivia was incredibly thoughtful and efficient. She got me checked in early and even upgraded my room for free, which was beyond my expectations. Her service was warm and attentive, communication was smooth throughout, and she was so patient and gentle. The entire check-in process was pleasant and hassle-free. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

I stayed for 11 consecutive days for a business trip and it felt like home; I was even a little reluctant to leave. The front desk staff, Xiao Gu, arranged a south-facing room for me, which was warm and sunny every day. She also provided prompt assistance, which was fantastic! The gentleman in the tuxedo at the entrance would greet me every day, saying 'going to work' and 'coming home from work,' which made me feel very welcome. I'll definitely choose Sunjoy Hotel again next time! The hotel even sent a cake for my colleague's birthday—absolutely amazing! Breakfast was also excellent!

I booked this room for a friend. I have to say, the hotel's privacy is pretty good, as my friend couldn't even access our floor. The king bed was huge, but the twin beds were a bit small. The amenities were decent, but the nightstand and sink were still too small. The soundproofing was also good. Among all the five-star hotels, this one only rates as a mid-range option.

Our stay at Qinghe Peninsula was made absolutely perfect by the thoughtful and attentive service of our butler, Xiao Hui. I have to leave a glowing review! Upon check-in, Xiao Hui proactively helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. She meticulously explained how to use the private hot spring and other room facilities. She even kindly sent us the park's activity schedule, detailing the locations and opening hours of the indoor and outdoor hot springs, water park, sauna area, and buffet restaurant – newcomers wouldn't need to figure anything out on their own. Throughout our stay, any questions we had were quickly answered via WeChat by Xiao Hui. She promptly arranged for extra toiletries and replenished our drinking water when needed. Traveling with children, she thoughtfully provided complimentary children's toys and reminded us of the precautions for the kids' water play area, which was incredibly heartwarming. When I accidentally left a small item behind, she carefully retrieved it and contacted us to pick it up. Her attention to detail truly shined. Xiao Hui was always gentle, polite, and greeted us with a smile. Her service was thorough and meticulous, never perfunctory. The resort environment itself is comfortable, with a wide variety of hot spring pools that are clean and well-maintained. Coupled with the professional and caring service from our butler, our overall vacation experience was truly exceptional. As a highly-regarded hot spring resort in Shenbei, the facilities are top-notch, but the service truly stands out. On our next visit, we'll definitely request her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway – it's well worth a special trip!

The hotel is really nice but didn’t match the service or facility level of the European branches of the chain. The room was HUGE! I’ve lived in smaller apartments. The breakfast was ok - mostly local selections. I asked for an omelette the first day and I think it was the first they had made one even though it was listed as a made to order option. It’s very close to a subway station but not close to the downtown area with the tourist attractions or the train station. I liked it but wouldn’t stay there again because of the location. I was in room 5116. Haha!

Wonderful hotel in Shenyang which is located next to the highway near the BMW plant, perfect for those who prefer driving or traveling by car. This hotel is also next to an interesting ant-themed amusement park, a China-Germany street, a BMX bike & skate park, as well as a huge ecological park with a winding river & islands which makes for a breathtakingly beautiful view from the room. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with excellent facilities including a large indoor pool, gym & a delicious breakfast buffet in the mornings. We also saw a lovely wedding event & photoshoot being held here! Special thanks to Marie & Cici for making our stay so memorable, we were very pleased with everything & would definitely recommend this hotel.
