Facilities: The room size is generous, but the space isn't utilized efficiently. The entrance area feels a bit wasted, and the desk is huge. As we were on a family trip, once the sofa bed was pulled out, it was tightly wedged between the desk and the main bed. The most satisfying facilities were definitely the pool and the dry/wet saunas – perfect for relaxing at the hotel on a hot day. Cleanliness: The cleaning was very thorough, and the laundry service was also convenient. Environment: The surrounding area is modern and business-oriented, with a park and lake visible right across the street. The parking areas for shared bikes are quite strict. Service: Overall, the professionalism of the service really needs improvement. There was a mix-up with the room assigned at check-in; the sofa in the first room couldn't be opened at all. It took repeated confirmations until a housekeeper spoke with the front desk before we were finally moved to a room on the 28th floor. The new room indeed had a better view, and they also sent an extra fruit plate and called to apologize. Just as we were waiting for our car at the entrance when leaving, we witnessed a loud argument between the doorman and a delivery person.

I came to Shenyang for the Three Workshops Music Festival, and the hotel I chose this time was absolutely fantastic. Alisa, the Guest Relations Manager, helped us arrange a south-facing, sunny, and very quiet room in advance. She was also available to contact at any time if we needed anything during our stay. The room was smoke-free, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. A big thank you to the concierge team for helping receive our packages and carefully verifying each one. I also appreciate the helpful staff at the hotel entrance who assisted with our luggage. The entire service process was thoughtful, thorough, and seamless – truly excellent. There are also many great restaurants around the hotel, but because of the hot weather, we had to order takeout and eat it back at the hotel. A special shout-out again to the cleaning staff for helping us dispose of the trash. Next

The hotel room size was decent, but there wasn't even a small sofa. Before showering, my partner and I had to sit uncomfortably on two separate chairs, with no other place to relax. The pool was terrible – tiny and murky. The hairdryer was incredibly noisy and ineffective; I'd recommend bringing your own if you need one. What was both annoying and laughable was the mini-bar setup: four bottles of Pure Water Joy on the left with no price tags, two Voss bottles on the right, each with a price tag of 28. Inside the fridge were several bottles of Pepsi, 7-Up, and Watson's soda water, none of which had price tags. So, of course, after checking out, I received a persistent call chasing me for the soda water cost, insisting they had labels. They also mentioned a pack of Oreo cookies in the fridge that also had no price tag. This isn't my first stay at a Marriott property, but this was by far the worst experience, no exceptions! It was also one of the two worst experiences during my trip to Shenyang. I will not be returning. The only redeeming factor was the room service attendant – thank you!

Extended stay privilege - Guaranteed late check-out until 2:00 PM: The overall check-in process was comfortable and convenient. The room's floor and size were just right. Whenever I'm on a business trip to Shenyang, I usually stay here because it's also close to the airport. Extended stay privilege - Breakfast: The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was fine.

The hotel is next to Beiling Park and is located in a garden with good greenery. The rooms are not big and the layout is compact. I would like to talk about the service in detail: First of all, the service at the hotel front desk is very good. The front desk manager also sent us to the room. Thank you very much! The room service is not satisfactory! We stayed for two consecutive days, and the cleaning lady threw away the food I bought the day before as garbage! The cleaning lady threw away the guests' food and was embarrassed to ask the aunt to compensate. It was quite disgusting! Secondly, the slippers for the second night were not put for us. I called the room service to ask for slippers. The lady in the room service didn't believe it and asked me to look for it in the room. The cleaning lady didn't put the slippers. I called after looking for it! I asked the room service to bring two bottles of water when she sent the slippers. The lady also told me that there were only two bottles of water in one room, and then she said as a charity that she would make an exception and give me two more bottles... Isn't this a five-star hotel? Hotels above four stars can add water for free! Even if you stay in a three-star hotel like Home Inn, you can ask for more water if it's not enough. Do you think that guests in high-end hotels have to drive out to the supermarket to buy water if they don't have enough water? There was a young girl serving the room very well, but the older one had a sullen face and an unpleasant attitude!

I brought my family to Shenyang to see an Errenzhuan show and chose to stay at the Marriott hotel. It seems to be relatively quiet around the old town area. As soon as we got out of the car, the concierge downstairs helped us with our luggage. The room was very clean, tidy, and quite spacious, and they even upgraded us, which we really appreciate. A huge thank you to Belinda at the front desk; she was gentle, sweet, and polite! I'd give her 100 points. Last year and the year before, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt and the Conrad. The Grand Hyatt's front desk staff had the worst attitude, and the Conrad's staff also lacked smiles, plus there were hairs in the room. Belinda was the one who gave me my first good impression upon arriving in Shenyang. Thank you, and I wish her eternal peace and happiness! 🎉 My second commendation goes to another short-haired front desk lady who helped us during checkout. I needed two bottles of mineral water, and she brought out an entire case from the storage room, opened it, and gave them to me. Thank you so much; she was enthusiastic throughout! It seems there are many Koreans staying at this hotel, with a lot of them talking loudly in the lobby late at night. To be honest, the breakfast at this hotel is really not good. The fruit already tasted off, and there wasn't much to eat. It's on par with breakfast at hotels costing between 80 to 100. And I must give a terrible review to a woman in a suit with very dark circles under her eyes in the breakfast department! Overall, it's still good, but I really don't recommend the breakfast. And there's a woman at breakfast – I think she had short hair, I forget, but definitely had prominent dark circles under her eyes – whom I truly want to give a big negative review. I won't type out the details to recall; her attitude was terrible. My positive feedback is solely for the two front desk ladies and the hotel's accommodation environment.

I had a very satisfying stay at the Renaissance Shenyang Taiyuan Street Hotel. The hotel design is stylish, the room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the breakfast is plentiful. Parking is also convenient. The highlight of my entire stay was Service Manager Leon. He was genuinely friendly and highly professional, proactively checking in on my experience and promptly resolving any issues. His attention to detail was exceptional, truly embodying the principle of putting the guest first. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

This hotel experience was fantastic! The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable with soft bedding that helped me sleep soundly. The location is excellent and convenient for getting around, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. Every detail was perfect, and it offers incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I specifically booked a room with a view in the villa area. After I got to the room, they contacted me again to say the air conditioner was leaking, so they wanted me to switch to a downstairs room. The downstairs room felt sunken, dark, and had no view at all. Later, I said I didn't want to switch, and another person said it was fixed yesterday and wouldn't leak! The view from the second floor is as shown in the picture! Also, I don't know if it's the location or an issue with the AC unit, but the outdoor unit makes a very loud buzzing sound, the AC inside the room buzzes, and it's even louder outside! I could hear the buzzing all night; it felt like several machines were right outside the door! The staff at the fish spa area (picture three) also had a very bad attitude! And the staff in the dining area asked for good reviews!

Wonderful hotel in Shenyang which is located next to the highway near the BMW plant, perfect for those who prefer driving or traveling by car. This hotel is also next to an interesting ant-themed amusement park, a China-Germany street, a BMX bike & skate park, as well as a huge ecological park with a winding river & islands which makes for a breathtakingly beautiful view from the room. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with excellent facilities including a large indoor pool, gym & a delicious breakfast buffet in the mornings. We also saw a lovely wedding event & photoshoot being held here! Special thanks to Marie & Cici for making our stay so memorable, we were very pleased with everything & would definitely recommend this hotel.
