We only had two days in Manila for the grand finale of our honeymoon before heading back to China. The vibe? Total luxury. We crashed at Discovery Primea, right in the heart of Makati. Just outside the hotel, you're spoiled for choice: a lush park for morning strolls, tons of restaurants, and a massive shopping mall (Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center, Makati—open daily from 10AM to 9PM). We hit up the supermarket inside for a Filipino snacks haul, so our suitcase was loaded with local goodies for the trip home. Why we liked it: - Perfect central location—steps from cafes, shops, and all the action - Rooms are big and super comfy, with ultra-soft beds - Everything is spotless! Clean and fresh vibes everywhere - Loads of restaurants around Discovery Primea—just stroll and pick whatever looks tempting - Stock up on Filipino snacks at Glorietta Mall for the perfect souvenir 📌 Tips - Grab rides are easy and safe—plus, you can pay with Alipay - Don’t stress over the service in some spots, just chase the good food! - Discovery Primea is super convenient for both exploring Makati and chilling out - Double check your bill for extra charges at hotels or restaurants, just in case

Raffles hotel gave us a luxirious experience. Beautiful.rooms and lobby, good foof and excellent customer service. Recommemded it right away to friends and family. Will definetely go back.

Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, ensuring everything stayed spotless throughout my stay. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the efficient service at breakfast, everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The amenities are top-notch, with a relaxing pool, well-equipped gym, and great dining options. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, all fresh and delicious. Overall, Ascott Makati delivers the perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and convenience. Pool at night has mosquitoes. Officer and caretaker failed to inform us about the RFID access cut off time. They leave us waiting for 1.5hours. Very hassle for our parents whos both seniors already. Restroom has a drainage foul smell. Place and room is Ok, minimalist.
