My stay at the Waldorf Astoria New York was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service felt thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive without being intrusive, creating a sense of ease throughout my stay. The Deluxe Room was beautifully appointed—quiet, immaculate, and designed with a timeless elegance that reflects the hotel’s historic character. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room layout made it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. Common areas are stunningly restored, blending classic New York grandeur with modern comfort. Everything—from the lobby to the elevators—felt meticulously maintained. The location is unbeatable. Being in the heart of Midtown made it effortless to get to meetings, restaurants, and landmarks. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the city’s energy. Overall, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria to anyone seeking a luxurious and well‑run hotel in New York.

The hotel corridor facilities are still a bit old, the interior decoration of the room is still good, the view is almost non-existent

This should be an old hotel that has been completely renovated. The room is very beautiful and stylish, and every item is very exquisite. The bathroom is small and the shower water is small, which may be due to the renovation of the old building. But it is worth staying. The bar downstairs looks very good at night. The food ordering in the room tastes great! And fast! There is a small problem. When you deposit your credit card at the front desk, you must bring a chip.

Really a pleasant surprise for us! Initially, we planned to book another 5-star hotel, but due to the long weekend most places were fully booked, so we chose this one instead. We honestly didn’t have very high expectations at first, but the room completely exceeded them. It’s new, spacious, very clean, and well equipped. The staff are friendly, fast, and efficient. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a water filter machine in the room, along with complimentary water bottle  The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the view is lovely too. Definitely worth the money 🫶🏻

The staff were very friendly and beyond helpful. My only negative was the price of the food at restaurant at 11:00 am was excessive, for a salad with chicken, truffle fries fries and an ice tea was $90 before tip! The AC froze during our stay, which caused it to become 88 degrees in our room. Had to leave the windows open which allowed all the city noise to come in. The manager was very understanding and gave us a discount on our room for the inconvenience due to lack of sleep due to the heat and noise in the room. Overall, the experience was wonderful, location was perfect and the staff was beyond accommodating. We will stay again next time in NYC.

Booked for my daughter and classmates. As a result, when they checked in that day, they found that the bedding and quilt cover provided by the hotel were separate, and the so-called bedding was a dirty blanket. Later, after they responded to the front desk, the waiter brought two quilts that were still not covered with quilts, saying that their hotel has always been like this, and that 7:00/22:00 is their service time, and if there are any problems after that, I will talk about it tomorrow. After I reacted to Ctrip customer service staff ”Ke Xin”, she followed up in time and solved the problem on the same day. The waiter finally sent two quilts that normal humans sleep over. The manager on duty said that maybe the communication was poor, but I My daughter can communicate with the locals in spoken English, and her classmates have lived here since childhood, so what about communication? Here we would like to thank the customer service staff Kexin who actively followed up on the day and solved this problem for us. The children also felt the help of Ctrip anytime, anywhere.

Great and safe location! Close to metro stations and bus stops, making it easy to reach tourist attractions. The staff were enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. The city view wasn’t particularly impressive — mostly rooftops and some unsightly air conditioners — but that was fine. I booked an accessible room; unless you specifically need accessibility features, I wouldn’t recommend this type of room. The door closes very slowly due to the automatic mechanism, and the bathroom felt unnecessarily large for my needs. That said, overall cleanliness and hospitality were excellent!

We loved this hotel. I was not sure based on some of the reviews but it was great and we would absolutely stay here again! We had a full park view on the 23rd floor and it was amazing!!!! It is not a brand new hotel but nicely remodeled with a nice bathroom and fun Central Park murals on the wall. Great location! Nice lobby. The lobby coffee shop was way over priced 10$ for drip coffee in a paper cup when it was opened. Which wasn’t often We never ate on the second floor restaurant and the rooftop bar was closed for all but breakfast if it had been open that would have been much better in the evenings. We were hesitant to have breakfast there on rooftop as we heard such bad reviews but we did on our last day and we were very glad we did. Yes it is expensive $75/peraon. But the atmosphere is lovely with an incredible view. It is a basic hotel buffet with hot eggs, bacon sausage potatoes toast pastries. Also beautiful fruit. Bagel and lox, very nice Greek yogurts and granola prosecco and juices. A bit over priced but a nice relaxing breakfast when you have plans for the day and don’t want the stress of running around for a quick breakfast to please everyone. Wish we had gone earlier in our stay it would have saved us some stressful mornings!! The doormen were great! Very friendly. The only issue was that we checked out this morning and the machine was down when we checked out and still have not gotten a bill or final receipt for payment charged.

The hotel is in a good location, but that's the only good location. The room facilities are old, but most hotels in New York are similar. However, the software is really disappointing. No one opened the door to take the luggage after arrival. There was no greeting when checking in. The deposit was directly handed to the POS machine in front of me without telling me the amount or the purpose. Inside the room, I found blood stains on the towels when I used them. The customer service didn't answer the phone at all. The air conditioner didn't heat up, and no one answered the phone. Finally, the checkout was not pleasant. Let's just say that if you have this budget, don't choose this hotel.
