KongyanThe environment is excellent, the hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are quite spacious, which is a rarity in New York. The price is also acceptable. Among Western-style breakfasts, this one is quite rich. If you don't mind being a little further from Manhattan, it's actually a great choice. Most of the staff are very nice, especially the housekeeping team, who are very polite and keep everything spotlessly clean. There are many good restaurants on the way to the subway.

The location is great, close to the airport with a free shuttle bus service. The rooms are clean, tidy, and feel new and comfortable. They even provided complimentary water and snacks for our early morning flight. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower had plenty of hot water, plus they offered good quality shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room was quiet, and came with two complimentary bottles of mineral water, a coffee machine, and coffee. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

fileflirterBeware this is no hotel, even though you do have your own room. This room is situated on the 4th or 5th floor depending on your gender. Be prepared for a steep stairwell, no elevators. You share the bathroom with everybody else, except on the 5th floor which is for women only. Bathroom show cabin is big ebough but the toilet booths are so small and narrow you can hardly move without hitting your head. Hygiene is ok considering all the people (mis)using it.
Speaking of hitting your head, the rooms are very compact. If you are shorter than 1,75m you will be sleeping curled up because thats the size of the bed. The walls are very thin and there is an open ceiling so it will be noisy. The free of charge earplugs can do so much so if you are a light sleeper, you wont get much sleep.
The staff manning the reception desk were polite, of the four i encountered, 2 of them were pleasant, one of them had some attitude, and one was awesome. He was from an european war torn country but he was funny, charming and filled with positive energy. The location was great, right smack in Manhattan, near the subway. And their vegan breakfast buffet will put many 3 star hotels to shame. All in all, a good place to stay in New York for a reasonable price.

This hotel near the airport was much larger than I expected, even bigger than the Hiltons in Manhattan. It came standard with a coffee machine and drip coffee. There's a restaurant/bar on the first floor offering hot food, and the breakfast there is quite extensive, with omelets and boiled eggs. The shuttle runs every twenty minutes and is usually pretty empty, so it's very spacious.

The location is very good, living far away from the elevator, not too noisy, but the soundproofing is just average, the price is really right. I attended my brother's graduation ceremony at the Manhattan School of Music, 5 kilometers away by taxi, very close and convenient, breakfast is also OK, there are a lot of Indians, Indians are really... One person has to take a lot of fruit and yogurt to leave, alas.

The front desk was replaced by a guy who looked like an Indian. I was given a basement room, which was really small and bad. There were people arguing at night, and the sound was not blocked at all, just like a shadow play. Someone also tried to open my room door at one or two o'clock (in the early morning), probably because they read the wrong room number. Overall, this stay was a negative experience.

Guest UserThe hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location, right next to Central Park, within walking distance to the subway and Columbus Circle, making travel incredibly convenient. The rooms are basically clean, with simple, sufficient facilities, suitable for budget-conscious travelers.
However, the soundproofing is a major issue: you can hear everything from the adjacent rooms, and I was frequently woken up at night by loud talking and slamming doors, making it almost impossible to get proper rest. I reported this to the front desk multiple times during my stay, but the problem never improved. I also filed a complaint through the booking platform, but received no response or follow-up whatsoever – customer service was virtually non-existent.
The common areas and bathroom facilities are a bit old, and the cleanliness in some areas was just average. Overall, it's only suitable for backpackers who prioritize location over sleep quality. Travelers who value quietness and good service should definitely look elsewhere.

The hotel is located at a very high level, with the subway at the corner and the entrance to Central Park opposite. The hotel is a bit old, with only one elevator for the 14 floors. The bathroom design is unreasonable, with the flush toilet next to the bathtub, which is very small and has a very thick wall handle, making it almost impossible to stand and turn around, and the shower is extremely uncomfortable! Manhattan hotels in New York are expensive, but the price is acceptable for this location. The hotel's room card system is very old, and the card will be deleted when you put it together with your phone. At this time, when you arrive at the door, you must take the only elevator down to swipe again. I swipe twice in three days!
