"The room was nice and clean. The service is quite good and proactive. The environment is great. There is also the only Chinese restaurant on Sang Island 300 meters away, which is very cost-effective. Recommended. However, the dolphin watching and prison island recommended by the hotel are relatively expensive, so if possible, look outside."
"Breakfast is very suitable for Chinese taste, pancakes and yogurt are very good. Lived in a big bed with sea view, no extra bed, no space. The bathroom and terrace are amazing. Very tasteful hotel. The boss personally helped move things and it felt good. No parking lot, suitable for children, good location"

"BEYT AL SALAAM was superb. Aminia and team were the nicest people we have met. There kind assistance with all our plans and excursions made our holiday truly unforgettable. The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. A large comfortable bed with chrisp white linen and very comfortable pillows. It had an airconditioner, ceiling fan, tv and tea and coffee facilities. A nice indoor swimming pool

"Lovely hotel, room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. My safari was cancelled and the staff provided other tour options, many thanks for that!
There is no phone in the room, I'd like to suggest even having a pager in the room would be helpful. Also no wifi in the room I think that should be an option.
The food was great and I enjoyed my stay, would definitely recommend!"
"The hotel is excellent, luxurious ancient building. The room is oversized and richly decorated in classical style. The location is good and it is one of the landmark hotels in Stone Town. The building is beautiful and the restaurant is the best with all the facilities."

"The bed sheets are too bad, they should be acrylic or chemical fiber, they are pilling. The hotel staff is very nice, the front desk efficiency needs to be improved, the hotel location is good, there are many hotels nearby, if you are not in a hurry, you can go to the nearby to find one. It is not worth the price, it can't be compared with the hotels in the north."

YYon-iiiRoom, Balcony, View from the room and Restaurant is really nice. But only one thing they need to improve in their reception customer service.
Room I signed when I check in and Room I really received was different. They changed the room without notice. I asked why they said it's same room inside. But it was totally different. Changed room has no privacy at all. We have to close the window during the stay.
And I asked for late check out when I check in. They told me to check last day in the morning. In last day, I asked again for 2hrs late check out. They refused my request even didn't check the system. Just say NO. I am very disappointed with their attitude. And when I checked the site there were plenty room left.
As everyone knows Zanzibar is the holiday place. Most of 5 star hotels in holiday place, they run check out time very flexible due to flight time. No deserve to have 5 stars in customer service.
HHariI stayed at this hotel upon arrival and departure from Zanzibar. The first time it was a short and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, during my second stay I was upgraded to room 301, which is large and overlooks the swimming pool, but it needs maintenance, especially the bathroom, which needs immediate maintenance. It is a very noisy room, as you can hear the sounds of the elevator and the water pump. The furniture is luxurious, but old and needs to be upgraded. The location is excellent, overlooking the port, but the entrance to the hotel is on a potholed street. The staff is friendly and respectful.
RRJHarsfaGood AirBnB in a good location. All is well walkable and many restaurants in the vicinity. In short, good place in Stone city if you don't want to go to a hotel.
GGuest UserLoved this place, everything was great, food, drinks, pool, gym.. baggage storage after check out. Wish i had more time.. and the aircon after 3 weeks without any was the icing on top of the cake.. bed was really comfortable. They allowed an early check in too.. i have absolutely nothing bad to say 👌 staff really friendly and polite as well
JJane and StewartUtterly enchanting- from our 5am arrival until our departure 3 days later we were looked after so incredibly well. The hotel organised our airport pickup and opened up with a gentle tap (you may need help to find it as it’s in the narrow streets of old Stonetown). The front of house was superb and Peter took care of us. The hotel has so much atmosphere, full of antiques and lush vegetation. Breakfast is in the roof balcony. Excursions can be organised. I had read a few unpleasant reviews but I can’t think why, cleanliness was first class and the hospitality was outstanding. I hope you are lucky enough to find a room - we stayed 3 nights it was so good.
ひひろたまるIt's in a great location in the center of town. I was able to walk to anywhere in Stone Town.
The room I stayed in had one queen-size bed. It was a room, but it had no windows and was very dark, so I don't recommend staying in the room during the day. I don't recommend staying in the room during the day.
There was a turndown service, and they sprayed the room with nuts and insect repellent at night. Breakfast was included, but you could choose from three types, and it was very filling and very satisfying.
CCheng Chi KeungAntique hotel. On the path inside Stone City. Breakfast fruit buffet, coffee tea buffet. Breakfast order yourself. Mushroom beans are cooked. Egg queue. Bread toast. Very satisfied.
Radiotherapy is smaller. The hotel arranged a barge to pick up a tour to Guidao. Taxi is also arranged by the hotel. Cheap price.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Zanzi Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family, offering warm welcomes and excellent service throughout my stay. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a touch of local charm, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. My room was spacious, well-equipped, and spotless, with stunning views of the surrounding area.
The amenities are fantastic, from the refreshing pool to the delicious on-site restaurant offering a variety of tasty dishes. What truly stood out was the attention to detail—every little aspect was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a memorable experience.
Zanzi Hotel’s location is also perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend Zanzi Hotel for a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable stay!
