This hotel was terrible, a complete regret, not worth the money at all. **Cons:** They had nothing and didn't seem to care about guest needs. The room was incredibly hot, felt like over 30°C, and I was sweating even naked. The temperature couldn't be adjusted. When I asked staff to help, they were argumentative and just gave me attitude, so in the end, I had to turn off the heating completely and woke up freezing in the morning. Breakfast options were limited, and it started too late, so I often missed it when I had to leave early for sightseeing. **Pros:** The butler was quite responsible, very responsive, and helped resolve issues.

Hotel in a garden – Changyuan Youxiong Hotel: The hotel's garden was built in the late Qing Dynasty, and it's small but exquisite, with a new view around every corner. Enjoying breakfast by the water in the morning and feeding the fish starts the day off right.

Changyuan is beautiful and very quiet, with excellent service and spacious rooms. While it's not in the most popular area, it's a short taxi ride to anywhere you want to go.

Great location, spacious rooms, and excellent service! They even provided a Bulgari toiletries set. It's close to all the attractions, and we got complimentary tickets to Hanshan Temple. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Suzhou!

The room's design was exquisitely classic, and the window offered a beautiful view of pavilions, terraces, and lush greenery. The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable overall experience. The garden still retains its original charm. My only regret is not planning my itinerary better when booking, which caused me to miss out on some wonderful sights and only get a hurried tour of the garden. I'll definitely be back to properly soak in this peaceful haven next time! Breakfast: Both Chinese and Western options are available, and the butler will confirm your preference in advance. Parking: There are parking spaces next to the hotel. It's best to contact the hotel beforehand when you arrive. If their spots are full, you might need to park in a lot about 100 meters away, and a shuttle service will pick you up. (For independent travelers, you can contact the butler when you're near the alley entrance, and the shuttle will pick you up.) Service: Check-out is at 12 PM, and check-in is at 3 PM. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage at the front desk, and the butler can take you for a stroll in the garden, or you can head out to explore on your own. The hotel offers customized private dining (home-style dishes) and afternoon tea. Reservations need to be made with the butler one day in advance.
