Host was very welcoming and meet us at the gate to help with bags. Short walk via the old town to the door. Welcomed with some fresh fruit which was a lovely touch. Host made us feel very welcome during our stay. Providing help with booking tickets and generally happy to help us. The town itself it just lovely, we had a great 36 hours walking around, getting a boat trip etc. We booked the two bedroom room. Which was fine but we were a family (2 adults and 2 kids). Kids weren’t happy sleeping separately as there was an open stairway between the rooms. So we have to go one adult and one kid per room. Would stay again if ever needed too

I visit Tongli for the first time with my 80 yrs old grandma. Really recommend this hotel for elderly ! She was really impress how nice the place is.

We had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing courtyard all to ourselves, surrounded by wonderfully spacious and traditionally styled rooms. While we initially had a bit of trouble finding the entrance, the owner kindly came to our rescue after we reached out for assistance. Additionally, we were treated to a delightful assortment of fresh fruits, adding a delightful touch to our stay. Situated in a serene location near the canal, the hotel offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Furthermore, the owner's warm hospitality added an extra layer of charm to our experience. Overall, it was a delightful retreat that left us feeling truly pampered and refreshed

I can hardly believe that for the same rate as a typical business hotel, we got a suite of two bedrooms with a large balcony connecting them. From the balcony, you can see a canal and lush green trees, making for a very pleasant atmosphere. It was the most comfortable accommodation of our trip. The owner was incredibly hospitable, assisting us with everything. The day we arrived, it rained from the evening until late at night non-stop, and it was quite cold. We had brought too few clothes and were not prepared to venture out in the rain for dinner. The owner kindly helped us order delivery food. I'm truly grateful for his help. Tongli has a wonderful atmosphere, especially in the early mornings and late evenings when there are no tourists. I recommend that anyone visiting Tongli should stay here for at least a night.

Friendly & helpful host, tho the journey has been tough one for me, i suggest not to bring any luggage as the road are not luggage friendly. Overall it is a good experience & place to chill and clear off your mind

Tongli is a nice quiet and calm ancient town near Suzhou. This homestay has a nice courtyard and the rooms are clean and nice.

Yang Ershiwei Guesthouse's riverside two-bedroom terrace room is perfect for families with pets. The layout of two bedrooms and a terrace provides comfortable living space for family members and pets. The terrace is right next to the river, offering a wide and refreshing view. I especially loved the terrace; it's located near the Three Bridges, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling activity downstairs. The owner was incredibly hospitable. On our first day, he picked us up from the parking lot, carefully and attentively introduced the room and the surrounding area of ​​Tongli, and even prepared washed fruit. The elders in my family were particularly happy with the excellent service and environment. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, and it's close to attractions. If I ever visit Tongli again, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

The owner of this guesthouse was incredibly friendly; he came to pick us up when we arrived and even brought us fruit – such a thoughtful gesture! The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary toiletries provided. Hot water was plentiful, making for a very comfortable stay. The guesthouse's courtyard was also beautiful, a great place to relax and chat with friends. Overall, it was a very good experience, highly recommended!

Let's talk about the mattress first. It is really the most comfortable mattress I have ever stayed in dozens of B&Bs. The reason why I live here is to sleep well. It is so comfortable. The courtyard is very quiet and clean. There is a river outside. The boss is also very nice. The price-performance ratio is very high. The mattress is great.
