Pattaya Hotels with Swimming Pools

"Overall the hotel is good but plenty of rooms for improvements do exist. Breakfast is the best part of the hotel with various choices. However, there is a room design failure. The shower room is way too large and wasted a space that could have accommodated a nice sofa with a decent small table for guests convenience. On the other hand, Akara does not provide one-time slippers for guests which is not hygienic! How come it can be called a five star hotel?! But the fact is they do have it and can give you not until you call the front desk for it!! It is really bad. Why don’t you put them in place beforehand? Further, nowadays many new hotels purchase high-tech image with all controls of the room confined into a single touch screen which is ironically inconvenient! Appropriate physical buttons existence of controlling anything inside the room is still vital."

"The hotel appears very glamorous and impressive from the online photos and especially the reception hall. The views are most spectacular from the rooms overlooking the ocean and the hotel offers many facilities, with at least three swimming pools. On the negative side, it is an older Hotel therefore the rooms do need some (further) renovation and replastering and modernisation, such as the old wardrobes that have simply been painted white to refresh them, as an example. The rooms do tend to smell a little musty as well, could be from the aged bathroom plumbing, but once the aircon runs for a while everything smells fresh. In my particular room ,when there was a very strong wind off the bay there was also a slight howling wind noise through the door seals On arrival the staff were very pleasant, obliging & even happy to allow me to check in at 10am. even though I wasn't due to til 2pm.. I found all the staff polite, helpful & friendly. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and of a reasonable standard and quality of food, but you need to get in early, as this hotel seems to cater for large tour groups and when they arrive, they tend to devour what's on offer, but it is replaced promptly by the staff. For the cost, I felt this hotel was good value but if you're looking for a five star hotel, you should probably stick with the Hilton or something similar."

"Mandarin Eastville Pattaya – A Delightful Stay from Start to Finish Over the past weekend, I had the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing getaway in Pattaya with a group of friends. We chose to stay at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya. Initially, I was quite hesitant to make the booking, as I had never stayed at this hotel before. Additionally, the room rates were relatively affordable, which made me wonder about the quality. However, I ultimately decided to give it a try — and I’m very glad I did. Upon arrival, I found that guests who book a Classic room are required to check in at the white building located at the back of the property. The lobby was pleasantly surprising — it was elegant, and the subtle fragrance throughout created a relaxing atmosphere. During check-in, the staff provided clear and detailed information. I would especially like to commend Ms. Lee, who was both friendly and informative. Her warm and engaging manner helped ease the heat and made the check-in experience even more pleasant. To my surprise, when I entered the room, I discovered that it was not the one I had originally booked — in a good way! It turned out that the hotel had generously upgraded all three of our rooms, which was truly impressive and appreciated. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and well air-conditioned. The bed and bedding were of high quality, comparable to those of 4- to 5-star hotels. In my opinion, this level of comfort at such a price point is exceptional. I also found the bathroom to be particularly spacious and well-designed. The swimming pool was another highlight, with separate sections for adults and children, making it ideal for both friends and families with young kids. We had breakfast at the restaurant near the lobby. While the dining area felt a bit crowded due to the number of guests (possibly because it was a weekend), it wasn’t a major issue. The hotel ensured that the food was constantly replenished — nothing was left empty for long, which demonstrated great attention to detail. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and value for money makes this property highly recommendable. Whether you're traveling with friends or family, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I would not hesitate to return on my next visit to Pattaya."

"Big room, clean and full amenities. The location is very convenient to travel to many sightseeing in town by car. Just only breakfast is fair, varied for tour group but rarely tasty for Thai like me."

"I stayed at this hotel for 4nights, i enjoyed the swimming pool, alot, the location is central to everything, the beach is at your doorstep, walking distance to 7/11, all shops & bars, however, the hotel is currently under construction & what disturbed me alot, was that drilling every morning at 8, that woke me up, it was so annoying especially after a late night. I also observed that the cleaners would fold the same dirty towels you put in the washing, also room service is terrible. At the swimming pool you have to sign out for your towels but there is no sign in column when you bring them back, also no assistance with the umbrellas which are all closed on very hot days. I also got some attitude with the cleaning staff, room service , bellboy & service at the swimming pool, also guest relations, i asked where is the other swimming pool, she was too busy with her phone to give get up & show me, she just said,’go straight’, i walked & walked & could not find it. This hotel can be the perfect stay if only they improve their service."

"The guidelines for the water park area were not specific and clear. I didn’t know there were lockers for storing my belongings or where I could get a towel. The breakfast was fair, although there was a lot of food and drinks. Fortunately, the front desk provided a higher room floor for me to remedy the total experience. Overall, there was a good experience during this stay"

"I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and even though it was my first time here, it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff were lovely and welcoming from the moment I arrived until the day I left. The atmosphere was peaceful, and my room was quiet, private, and very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the in-room dining exceeded my expectations — everything was so well-prepared and flavorful. I didn’t get a chance to try the spa, which I truly regret, but it just means I’ll definitely be coming back. A truly memorable stay — 100/10."

"Good place to stay with kids as the pool has lots of different things, like slides and rain feature dripping from the ceiling. We stayed in the room with jacuzzi and the jacuzzi was pretty cool, worked well but you couldn’t fit anything else out there because it took up the whole balcony. The room itself was pretty basic - has everything you need including mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, dressing gowns, flip flops, TV with Netflix, plus with USBs and surprised to see they had conditioner as well as shampoo and soap etc in the bathroom. The room wasn’t unclean but it’s well used and basic. Breakfast was ok - had noodle station, egg station, bread for toast, salads, fruit, but mainly catered for the Thai market with Asian dishes. Not much in the way for continental breakfast except cornflakes and toast (7/11 kind of bread). Not sure I would stay here again. Not because there was anything wrong but I think you can get better places at around the same price but it was a good location."
