5-Star Hotels in Pattaya

Upon arriving at the hotel at 4 PM, the front desk staff warmly greeted me. The hotel's location was convenient, and Bolt taxis were readily available for safe and easy transportation to any destination. Among the hotel's front desk staff, Misa? or Risa? was particularly friendly and spoke fluent Korean. Korean guests would have no trouble during their stay if they sought her out. The breakfast was also delicious, and I would love to visit again.

This is my fifth time staying at Ascott, and the location is simply impeccable. It's right across from a large shopping mall, and there are many massage parlors and convenience stores nearby, making shopping and getting a massage incredibly convenient. The staff are polite and friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes are quick. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the room is spacious and bright, and the shower water pressure is excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

Impeccable, it's my second time staying here. Everything is flawless, the staff are very attentive, everything is clean, the facilities are top-notch, and the architecture is superb and inspired by Africa down to the smallest detail. Every hour, a free shuttle takes you to several shopping malls, as the hotel is a bit out of the way, about 25 minutes by the highway from the lively areas.

The room offers a great sea view, and the hotel isn't far from Pattaya Beach, with plenty of restaurants, 7-Eleven stores, and other amenities nearby. The public areas are definitely the highlight of the hotel; it's my first time seeing a gym with a sea view, and there are both large and small pools. However, it seems the hotel pool is currently closed, so guests should be aware of that. On the downside, the room size wasn't as big as I expected, and the advertised Marshall speaker and Dyson hairdryer were not actually present, which might be a concern for some. Also, for this price without breakfast, the value for money is questionable.

Our recent stay at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya was fantastic, and the connecting rooms were perfect for friends traveling together! One room had twin beds (1.5m), and the other a king-size bed (2m). With both rooms connected, there was plenty of space, allowing us to stay together while still having our own private areas. It's definitely the top choice for group trips and gatherings. The hotel's water park is truly a highlight, with slides and play areas for everyone. You can have a blast splashing around right at the hotel, spending an entire day without even leaving the premises. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the food was delicious. The most pleasant surprise was the freshly made Thai milk tea – authentic and incredibly tasty. The hotel also offered a durian fruit mountain; you just had to ask a staff member to get some. The fruit was fresh, making the experience even better. The overall environment was comfortable, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend it for friends traveling together or family vacations. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Pattaya!

I stay here every single time I am in Pattaya. The deluxe rooms and suites have ultra-comfortable king beds, relaxing bathtubs, and spacious balconies overlooking the pool. Daily housekeeping is top-notch. Plus, the location is unbeatable, and low-season rates are excellen t. curtains block out the light perfectly. While the rooms have a stove, no pots or frying pans are provided, so you will need to bring your own if you plan to cook. There is also no washer or laundry service on-site and smart TV. Breakfast runs until 10:00 AM, which feels a bit early and there are rarely any fish. 🐜Tiny ants are present in all rooms ✔️Do not leave any trash, dirty dishes, or food on the table, especially overnight. While there are no cockroaches in the units, I guarantee they will show up if you leave any waste out. although the unit had a king bed and a single bed for three people, it only had one bedside table. We had to move the room's only chair between the beds just to have a place to put things.

We stayed at this hotel for five days in September. We booked a more expensive superior room and requested a king-size bed for adult comfort, which we also specifically emailed about. Our request was fulfilled, and they even provided an extra bed for a third person free of charge! As a complimentary gesture, they allowed us to check out at 2 PM instead of 12 PM. For customer orientation, it's a solid 100/10! The room was good, located in the old building, with a view of other hotels. There was construction, but we didn't hear any noise from it. The room had a kitchen, a large fridge, and a microwave, plus pool towels and bathrobes. The food was excellent, with a very wide selection of dishes that changed daily! The only minor thing was a lack of sweet options; only pancakes were available every day. For fruits, there was watermelon, pineapple, and papaya. As for downsides, I'd note the weak Wi-Fi, which constantly disconnected, especially around the pool/restaurant area where we had breakfast. The biggest drawback, though not the hotel's fault, was the dirty beach and sea! We're not particularly picky and always swim in Pattaya, but here it was just disgusting. Perhaps it was the off-season... Only once, at 8 AM, was it pleasant to swim. The rest of the time, all sorts of things were floating in the sea and on the beach, even when we walked left towards the night market and right towards Dongtan beach. The largest fruit market is a 25-minute walk away, and the night market is 15 minutes. There are currency exchange offices, massage parlors, and cafes nearby. Overall, it's a solid hotel with a pool, and the street is quite quiet.

Great place, clean, and delicious breakfast. The staff provided good service. However, I was a bit confused about having to pay an additional key deposit, which wasn't mentioned beforehand in the app. It was 1000 baht, and if you don't have cash and pay by transfer, the refund will be delayed. 🫠

This time, I went on a relaxed 8-day, 7-night trip to Pattaya by myself, and overall, the hotel was quite good. My flight was at 2:40 AM on the 22nd. After landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport, I took the airport bus directly to the hotel, so I arrived around 12 PM. I asked the front desk if I could check in early. The front desk processed my request, but since there were no rooms available, I had to wait until 2 PM to check in. I went out to find lunch and returned at 1:30 PM, and the front desk staff informed me that my room was ready, so I checked in immediately. I was surprised when I received the room key – it was an actual key plus a long wooden stick. I later learned that the wooden stick was for activating the electricity. Well, the power card I specifically prepared wouldn't be needed. After entering the room, I was quite satisfied. The room was a good size, and I could directly see the pool on the first floor from my room, which was a plus. However, I immediately noticed that the hangers were fixed inside the wardrobe and couldn't be removed, and there was no balcony in the room; outside the window was an air conditioning unit. Also, the king-size bed I booked was actually two twin beds pushed together, but the mattress was a single piece, so it didn't really make a difference. Moreover, the pillows were the firm type that I prefer, so my sleep quality was actually quite good for these 7 days, although the room facilities were somewhat outdated. There are many massage shops around the hotel, and there's a 7-Eleven right opposite. Plus, there's a small night market next to the hotel, and Central Pattaya is directly across the street. The location is excellent. Since I didn't book breakfast and didn't eat anything at the hotel, I won't comment on the food. Regarding the service, it was quite a pleasant surprise. Every time I left and returned, the front desk ladies would smile and nod in greeting, and sometimes the bellboy would help open the door. One day, I even found welcome fruits on the table in my room. The front desk staff's English was good enough for simple communication. Then I noticed an interesting detail: the front desk would turn on the air conditioning every morning, but as soon as the sun set, the AC would be turned off, and the lobby doors would be left open. When I checked out, I had a brief chat with the front desk lady, and I plan to bring my family for our seventh vacation to Pattaya in about six months. So, this experience was really good. Firstly, the hotel offers great value for money, and secondly, the consistently smiling service from the hotel staff always kept me in a pleasant mood. This hotel is in North Pattaya, right next to a hotpot buffet, which I never got a chance to try. The prices can be a bit inconsistent though; I managed to snag a great deal for my three-night stay. Pattaya is a lovely place. I only realized there was a gym on the first floor when I was checking out today – I hardly spent any time at the hotel, to be honest.
