This 18th-century home in the sleepy town of Tacoronte, just minutes from the spectacular Mesa del Mar beach, is warm, authentic and wonderfully original. The ambience is unique and inspiring. A blend of big, bright paintings and collections of everything from Reader’s Digests to pottery to airplane-size liquor bottles. The owner and hostess, Lanchi, is a true gem. She recommended a number of local restaurants for us, accommodated our timings and food requests with ease and a smile, and made countless thoughtful and kind gestures to ensure we felt welcome and at home. Our generous room was inside the main house. The weather was uncharacteristically warm, but we were able to open windows and the door to keep the air moving overnight. The bed was big and comfy. WiFi worked great. Breakfast was a highlight. Fresh fruit, homemade yogurt and marmalades, delicious Canarian cheese, and Lanchi’s warm hospitality — plus her exquisite treats from the kitchen. This is not the place for travelers accustomed to all-inclusive accommodations. But if you’re looking for a very special experience on a very special island, we would highly recommend a few days with Lanchi at Casa Casilda.

Je ne sais même pas par quoi commencer, tellement l'expérience a été MEDIOCRE... J'avais pourtant vu la belle annonce et les avis qui annoncent un joli jardin avec une chambre très propre et cosy..sans oublier le petit déjeuner exquis !!! Mais je fus un cauchemar dès mon arrivée...maison au bord de la route (avec beaucoup de bruits), une maison en désordre et il faisait mauvais dehors ce qui n'arrange ais pas les choses. La propriétaire (très gentille et ce sera mon seul point positif d'ailleurs !) nous a montré notre chambre qui était à l'extérieur du jardin très mal entretenu entre nous....une fois la baie vitrée ouverte, commence le drame...une odeur de MOISISSURE abominable !!!! La chambre est dans un ancien atelier rénové en une pseudo chambre.....avec un bureau en guise de table en contre plaqué !! wouhaaahh même chose pour la table de chevet et tête de lit (qui était à moitié mouillé d'ailleurs (ça me dégoute encore) ! La salle de bain pas mieux avec une odeur d'humidité encore pire que dans la chambre. J'ai même remarqué des champignons dans les coins de la chambre...J'ai passé une nuit infernale entre l'odeur d'humidité, le bruit de la route et le fils de la patronne qui passe toutes les 3 minutes à 2h du mat et allume la lumière bref une nuit interminable. il ne me tardait que d'être le lendemain pour fuir ! Le petit déjeuner fut guère mieux en guise de pain frais ..du pain dur ou biscotte je ne sais pas trop... J'ai quand même payé 80€ pour passer une nuit pire que mes cauchemars ! Une honte.... Je l'ai signalé à la propriétaire qui m'a répondu "ah bon, je suis désolée...." c'est tout !! En France, ce genre d'établissement serait fermée et serait INSALUBRE...donc quand je vois les avis d'avant... Soit les gens se contentent de peu ou bien ce sont des faux avis !! PREUVE A L'APPUI !!! A éviter...….tout simplement et à fermer ..

Une maison bourgeoise d'un autre temps aménagée en chambre d’hôte, magnifique. De plus l'accueil de Lanchi est merveilleux, cette dame qui fait tout pour vous accueillir et vous accompagner durant votre séjour. Chambre propre et superbe petit déjeuner complet!!! Merci Lanchi
